medalofhonor.com/Full version of the song on here. It's not dance, but it's not what you're expecting either.

I predict this album will be 0.001% as good as Snow Patrol's last studio album.

I predict this album will be 0.001% as good as Snow Patrol's last studio album. I'm not really sure what this is supposed to mean. Is Snow Patrol's last album your favorite album of all time? And what does Snow Patrol have to do with this? Is .0001% good in comparison to Snow Patrol's last album? This just seems really vague and left field.

Song isn't to my taste, but Linkin Park doesn't have the best track record with me anyway, so listened more out of curiosity than because I had high expectations. I predict this album will be 0.001% as good as Snow Patrol's last studio album. LOL. I predict this album will be 0.001% as good as Snow Patrol's last studio album. Think about it a little more. And I still don't get it. Maybe you should be a little less cryptic.

I really like it. I think it sounds awesome. Was totally sold on it by 2nd listen. And I still don't get it. Maybe you should be a little less cryptic. A Thousand Suns = 0.001% X A Hundred Million SunsBetter? LOL!

Well, I extracted the audio and have listened to it about 10 times.
I think the song is too disjointed for me. It just doesn't click.
Still waiting for the rest of the album, though.

Loved it.
Specially the bridge/last chorus.

Why do I feel like everyone is waiting for some heavy chorus that never comes?

Why do I feel like everyone is waiting for some heavy chorus that never comes? I was thinking the exact same thing towards the second half of the song. Right at the end it seemed as it was going to really pick up, but that was all she wrote.

Keep in mind the one we saw in the video was an edit. The album version is over 5 minutes, and the one in the video was around 3:40. Not sure if its the radio edit or an edit Medal of Honor decided to use, but its definitely a shorter edit.

I'm diggin' it. And I was not an avid 'Minutes To Midnight' supporter. While it doesn't sound like Hybrid Theory or Meteora-era Linkin Park, it captures a certain element of their original aura and purpose that I felt was missing on their last record and on "New Divide".

Is this really a Linkin Park lead single? ??? It sounds truly awful. You sound truly awful. This kind of left turn from an A-list band is what the format needs. This is the kind of progressive music I'd like to see more of from bands that incorporate more than just the standard 3 or 4 "rock 'n' roll" instruments. We could be looking at this decade's answer to Kid A here, only on a much more commercialized scale. If this were a more traditional rock song, this would be a surefire marathon #1 a year after "Uprising." I'd still love to see that happen, because it's unlikely that any deserving song will actually find its way up there and set up shop, but I'm not entirely sure it will, given this song's radical departure. Having said that, I'm kind of dreading the premiere on radio tomorrow. I'm sure my local DJs will s**t all over it and whine and bitch about its sound, all the while begrudgingly playing it because Linkin Park is a too-big-to-fail core band that the station needs. Ok, I've heard the whole song now. I still stand by my DANCE statement! More so than anything that ended up remixed on Reanimation or Collision Course, as soon as the "Catalyst" synths kicked into high gear, this song was begging to be remixed. I look forward to hearing each and every one of them. (Well, up to a dozen or so, anyway. Let me not forget the open invite for fan remixes.)

Yeah, I wasn't born with the sense of pretentiousness necessary to be a music snob and enjoy bland music.
I still don't like this song.

Did this song make the last August 1, 2010 chart, or does it still have a chance to be a debut number 1?

I don't know what to think about this. The "Where oceans bleed into the sky" line is definitely..interesting. For now I think I like it.
