I'd say MTN is over at pop. PLEASE get Schiebe Grammy performance & video ready.
On another note - "Hair" seems to be the "Speechless" of this era. She's performing it everywhere but it isn't registering much in sales and subsequently, is being held off as a single. Unless, of course, it's next :)

I think she'll want to perform You & I at the grammy's, or she'll probably be paired up with some old "legendary" rock musician. Happens all the time.
I don't think she'd perform this.

If she's going for a new single I would assume she'll be performing that. The timing would be pretty good too if she starts working on the video soon. I'm just hoping it's Hair because that would catch on a lot easier.

Historically, though not ALWAYS the case, the Grammy's dictate what song they want you to play and generally it is the song you are nominated for. However, that is sometimes deviated from, but that is generally how the awards show work. They usually want you to do the music that is most familiar to the viewers and what they hyping so they can drive big ratings.

Two of her three nominations are for her album and the other is for You And I but it's not a major category. I think she could have slightly more freedom with what song she were to perform should she be on the performing list this year. Personally, I'm not sure what I'd want. I don't want You And I unless she performed it the way she did when it first popped up in the Monster Ball setlist. I don't think I want Marry The Night because it feels like wasted potential. Born This Way was last year. Judas just seems pointless. I'd be okay with an epic Edge Of Glory performance or maybe some sort of GaGa-at-the-piano-no-frills performance of an album track that blows everyone out of the water. What album track? I've no clue.

If "Hair" is not released as a single, it'll be as bad as "Marry You" by BM not being released. :(

I would actually love an Edge of Glory performance. I feel like it was the gem of this era and might end up being the most significant single from this era (with tight competition from the short-lived Born This Way).

Yeah if she does anything at the Grammy's I hope it's TEOG. It's the most defining imo and a performance set-up similar to the video would be amazing.

I never really cared for any of her TEOG performances. :/ I'd be okay with an epic Edge Of Glory performance or maybe some sort of GaGa-at-the-piano-no-frills performance of an album track that blows everyone out of the water. What album track? I've no clue. I would say Hair. She sings the crap out of that song on the piano.

This is Gaga, and this is the Grammys. Last year she came in a freaking egg, and performed a brand new song that was breaking records left and right. How can she top that this year, or at least come close?

I'd be happy with a "The Edge of Glory" performance. It definitely seems to be the most logical choice. If "Hair" is not released as a single, it'll be as bad as "Marry You" by BM not being released. :( "Marry You" was worse. That song could have easily been huge coming off his previous three singles and his features. "Hair"... not so much. Not to derail this thread though.

What if she performed a new song? Then she'd have made the smartest move she could have possibly made at the point in time. She needs to surprise us with a smash hit from a new EP. ;)
