What does SuBo have out? I haven't heard about it. I was just listening on Spotify. She's doing songs from the stage like "Out here on my own" (Fame), "Somewhere over the rainbow", "Send in the clowns", etc.

There's the regular, the Target exclusive deluxe, and the yearbook edition, which is what Best Buy must mean. Target also has deluxe + yearbook put together. Yearbook is about $15 on iTunes which is why I assume it's a typo for Best Buy. No typo. The Yearbook edition at Best Buy is $21.99 Yeah, I saw online it was that as well. Such a ripoff. Terrible pricing.

I would be surprised if Green Day sell close to 95K.

Tre was moved up because of the tour being postponed. All 2012 dates cancelled and all 2013 dates will be pushed back so they moved up this album instead. It's unfortunate all this is going on. I wish Billie the best, his health is obviously more important than promotion--but the lack of it has been a buzz kill on this project.

^Songs from Broadway. Is she doing any US promo this week? josh, I'm a train nut. I wanna ride the Durango & Silverton someday. Well come on out...actually, my career has been with the D&S since 2004. I also work part time for a radio station here in Durango. I'll throw you on the train. :)

Well considering Your Body's performance and the fact that her last album flopped, I'd say 75-80k is pretty good and not that far from the 113k Bionic opened with.

There is nothing good about that number. I thought she'd at least be able to match Bionic's opening considering The Voice promo and the advantage of Holiday sales. Also, WOW @ One Direction. I was expecting them to open huge but not dayuuuuum.

People were seriously revising predictions to say 35-50K first week so in light of that 80K doesn't seem that bad without a hit in sight, no airplay, and no cohesive promotional push at all (she still hasn't performed the lead single properly, for example). Not that disastrous-should drop fast though.

I was only expecting around 500k for One Direction (and that was quite ambitious) so the fact that it could get to 575k is awesome.
Not great numbers for Xtina, but they could have been a lot worse.
Pretty damn good numbers for The Weeknd, considering the material has been out for free online all last year.
Great numbers for Lana, as well. Born to Die opened with 77k on a lot of hype (good and bad) so if this follow-up EP can open with 70k, that's pretty consistent.

WOW I was so focused on Christina that I didn't even notice Lana's numbers. 70K or so for her would be AMAZING especially since people were doubting she would even get 40K. I really wish radio would play one of her songs. Pounding out 70K+ with cd openings as a newbie without ever having a real radio hit is impressive.

1D's opening single dropped 1-11 on Digital Songs in its 2nd week. How hard will their album drop?

Those numbers are massive for One Direction. Christina's numbers are pretty much around what I thought she would sell, and aren't too bad, all things considered. Very solid numbers for The Weeknd and Lana Del Rey.

I think their album may not drop as hard as people think. It is Black Friday next week and historically acts like One Direction have benefitted from the start of holiday sales. They are also planning some big ads and discounts to help foster that. It will still drop hard, but I bet it will stay above 100K and possibly even flirt with 200K.

Awesome for One Direction!!! Amazing for Lana. About what I expect for Xtina......She probably won't even outsell Bionic in the long run.

Well considering week 2 of 1D will be one of the busiest shopping weeks of the year, I don't think the second week drop should be that much. And then 1D sounds like a perfect Christmas gift for the kids (along with Taylor of course). Hopefully that all means 1D can have two 1-million-selling albums in the same calendar year.

Good solid numbers for Lana. Wish she did promo, she would have done higher.. Sigh, Interscope.

They are focusing Lana where she sells big, but I feel like the numbers she gets in the US for little to no promo and no airplay warrant a bigger push.

One Direction 525-575k The Weekend 95-105k Breaking Dawn Pt. 2 Sdtk. 85-90k Christina Aguilera 75-80k Soundgarden 70-75k Lana Del Ray 65-70k Green Day 65-70k Deftones 60-65k Susan Boyle 35-40 Whitney Houston 35-40k Rolling Stones 27-30k Aaron Lewis 18-21k Pentatonix 10-15k
Wow. I was wrong about Lana.
Surprised at The Weekend!
HITS might not be including Whitney's 30k in sales from HSN.

Those numbers are awesome for The Weeknd. It's great to see another R&B artist selling well without a major Urban hit, based on the following he has culminated online over the past couple of years.

One Direction shouldn't be a threat for Rihanna, assuming she sells around 200k.

Looks like a decent showing by Soundgarden if those numbers pan out. Should make the top 10 quite easily. Not bad at all 16 years after their last record. Deftones' sales are pretty much the same as the last album so that's a good result for them.
