Because it's at the bottom of the page Top Singles60. Rita Ora ft. Tinie Tempah- R.I.P. Rihanna-rip-off Rita Ora's debut single, "How We Do (Party)" was decent but plain. There was nothing exciting about it. Second single "R.I.P." has a much more unique, sexy sound. The vocals and the production are great, and the verses, both Rita's and guest rapper Tinie Tempah's, are just as catchy as the chorus. "Sexy seńorita, I feel your ora."59. Pitbull ft. Shakira- Get It Started Pitbull's first real flop since his breakthrough hit "I Know You Want Me (Calle Ocho)". So naturally, it's my favorite single from his latest album I understand why it flopped. Shakira's chorus is underwhelming and her voice is extremely annoying, but Pitbull's verses are pretty good and the breakdown after the chorus and at the end of the song is the saving grace of the song. Coupled with the quote, "You know it feels right", this is one of my favorite beat breakdowns this year. "Don't start what you can't finish."58. Mariah Carey ft. Rick Ross & Meek Mill- Triumphant (Get 'Em) Why does everyone hate this song? So maybe Mariah isn't on it much... It's still a great song. The rappers' verses are forgettable, but Mariah gives a great hook and bridge. The song is very inspiring and uplifting, and it's a good song, so it should have done much better than it did. "Stay on your toes, get off the ropes, don't let them ever count you out."57. Phillip Phillips- Home This song took about half a year to grow on me. I found it really annoying at first, and just wished it would die already. Well it didn't, and I'm glad because I came to love it! The song is very simple, but the simplicity of it, as well as the uniqueness in both the song and Phillip's voice helped to make this song a hit on digital charts, radio charts, and my personal chart. "Don't pay no mind to the demons, they fill you with fear."56. Flo Rida ft. Sia- Wild Ones The second single from the album of the same name is pretty similar to the first. A soft chorus sung by a unique-voiced woman with party rap voices from Flo. This one is slightly better in my opinion though. Flo's raps are more entertaining, changing pace throughout, and the chorus is slightly catchier, but both songs are great. This song thankfully confirmed that Flo really is back, and hopefully he's here to stay. "I am a wild one, tame me now, runnin' with wolves and I'm on the prowl."55. Justin Bieber- Boyfriend When I first heard the hugely anticipated single from Justin's adult breakthrough album, I thought it was stupid. And it still is stupid. But in a good way. The lyrics are laughable. Justin is definitely NOT a rapper. But if you don't take the verses seriously, and just let yourself enjoy the catchiness of the whole song, you'll find that it really is a good song, and it thankfully helped gems such as "As Long As You Love Me" and "Beauty and a Beat" to smash "Voice goin' crazy on this hook like a whirlwind, swaggie."54. Taylor Swift- We Are Never Ever Getting Back Together I could not get enough of this song when it came out. It reached #2 on my chart in its second week, but didn't quite make it to #1, because the song burned on me pretty quickly. I still think it's a great song. The anthemic chorus sounds so simple, but the carefree attitude throughout, Taylor's flawless ad-libs ("What?", "Like... Ever"), clever self-references (see quote), and the production prove that the obnoxiously-titled song is a real piece of art. "With some indie record that's much cooler than mine."53. Usher ft. Rick Ross- Lemme See This song took a little while to grow on me, but when it did, I loved it! The production is absolutely flawless. Usher's performance is incredible, especially the chorus and pre-chorus, and his falsetto in the verses is as good as ever. The song is really risqué, and it works really well. Oh, and Rick Ross is featured (what a surprise ) with the same verse as always. "She say she wanna take her skirt off... Be my guest."52. Coldplay ft. Rihanna- Princess of China The lyrics on this song are attrocious. Rihanna...gurl...a princess should not tell someone to be their king ("You could be my dad! Go have sex with my mom!") That disturbing thought aside...this is a great song. Rihanna and Chris Martin's voices fuse together so well, and the song just sounds so beautiful. I was obsessed with it for months. "Now why'd you have to go, have to go and throw water all over my flame."51. Cobra Starship ft. Mac Miller- Middle Finger This song is great. It's really catchy, and slightly provocative. But that's why I was against this being the second single. I'm glad this reached the Top 40, but if they had let the flawless "#1nite" smash first, this probably could have reached the Top 20. Sorry, it just makes me mad. Whatever, it's still a fantastic song "I bet you're trying to prove what the meaning of single is."- Top Albums 30. Usher- Looking 4 MyselfUsher promised a new genre of music called "revolutionary pop" would appear on his latest album. While this is in no way revolutionary pop, you can tell he tried to be different and experiment and he really might be looking 4 himself. The three dance pop are amazing, somehow managing to be generic and unique at the same time. The R&B cuts, on the other hand, have an electronic vibe to them, especially on smash hit, "Climax". Most songs are really good, especially the single releases. A few slow R&B duds aside, Usher made a great album, even if it isn't revolutionary. Favorite Songs--"Scream" -"Lemme See" -"Dive" -"Climax" -"Numb" 29. Phillip Phillips- The World from the Side of the MoonI found the hilariously named Phillip x2 to be annoying at first. Well, he eventually grew on me right before the release of his first album. I loved the debuts of all American Idols through Kris Allen, but I felt no inclination to listen to Lee DyWyze, and I wasn't thrilled with Scotty McCreery. Well, Phil has completely changed my opinion of Idol around. A mix of pop, rock, alternative, folk, and even country, Phillip's debut album, which is as obnoxiously named as its artist and Taylor Swift's previously listed smash, is fantastic, appealing to almost anyone. "Home" has smashed on so many formats, the first Idol coronation single to do so, and I expect he can repeat that success with other some of the gems on this great album. The folk songs are kind of boring to me though. Favorite Songs--"Where We Came From" -"Home" -"Gone, Gone, Gone" -"Wanted Is Love" -"So Easy" 28. Maroon 5- OverexposedMaroon 5 is completely hit or miss for me. I either dislike their songs, or love them. There really isn't an in between. Thankfully, the two lead singles were both hits (and I'm not talking about chart position, but that too). I was really excited for Overexposed and for the most part it payed off. This is their most pop album to date (result of M5 being overexposed? Anyone? Ok :(), and the straight pop cuts are fantastic. The other songs really bore me though. The album itself is hit or miss througout, but thankfully it's mostly hit. Also, it spawned "Wipe Your Eyes", which is one of my favorite album tracks from any album of the year. Favorite Songs--"Wipe Your Eyes" -"One More Night" -"Payphone" -"Lucky Strike" -"The Man Who Never Lied" 27. Calvin Harris- 18 MonthsThe second dance album on the list is from breakthrough DJ Calvin Harris. What makes Calvin unique from almost all other DJs is that he'll sing on his own songs (something I stupidly forgot to mention in my "Feel So Close" commentary). Although that's the only song on here that he sings on, he gains so much respect from me through that alone. About a third of the album could be heard before it was released, but at least that's better than Swedish House Mafia Anyway, all songs present are great. It's a mix of instrumentals and tons of hits. Already smashing here with "We Found Love", "Feel So Close", "Let's Go" and "Sweet Nothing", he will likely be able to continue his success with "We'll Be Coming Back", "Drinking from the Bottle", "I Need Your Love", and possibly even "Thinking About You". A few of the instrumentals sound slightly similar, but that's a small flaw I can ignore. Great album Calvin! Favorite Songs--"Let's Go" (sorry juanito ) -"Feel So Close" -"Sweet Nothing" -"We'll Be Coming Back" -"Drinking from the Bottle" 26. Chris Brown- FortuneChris Brown was unable to find an acronym for the sequel to last year's F.A.M.E. However, he was able to make another great album. The thing I like about Chris is that he can sing R&B without sounding as dull as some of his peers. F.A.M.E. was a flawless album, so I didn't expect Fortune to be as good. That doesn't matter though, because it's a great album on its own. The hooks are great, the beats are great, and the vocals are fantastic. It's time to get over the Rihanna incident everyone. On album highlight "Don't Judge Me", Chris asks for forgiveness, and sounds sincere. His emotional through the whole album is real. Aside from a few duds, Fortune is an excellent album. Favorite Songs--"Turn Up the Music" -"Don't Judge Me" -"Sweet Love" -"Biggest Fan" -"Bassline" - Top Artists16. Carly Rae Jepsen Carly Rae Jepsen charted at #8 with "Good Time", #16 with "Call Me Maybe" (a longevity monster), and #30 with "This Kiss". Kiss is in my Top 50 albums. 15. Bruno MarsBruno Mars reached #1 with "It Will Rain" and #7 with "Locked Out of Heaven". He also reached the Top 50 with album tracks "Young Girls" (#30), "Gorilla" (#49) and "Natalie" (#50). Unorthodox Jukebox is in my Top 50 albums. - We're halfway through the countdown :O Singles #50-41, Albums #25-21, and Artists #14-13 will be up tomorrow :)
No, I meant you could have made a blank post at the bottom of page 1 so that your chart post would be at the top of page 2.

Results for the poll are in! Every song has 1 vote, except for "Eyes Open" which had none, "What Makes You Beautiful", "Die Young" "Ni**as in Paris", all of which had 2, and "Give Your Heart a Break" which had 4. Interesting results... Anyone wanna place their claim?

Songs: "R.I.P", "Home", "Boyfriend" (I really don't know why I'm giving a shoutout to a Justin Bieber song, but his Believe era has been so good), "We Are Never Ever Getting Back Together", "Princess of China" and "Middle Finger". Albums: The World from the Side of the Moon, Overexposed and 18 Months (YAY!) Artists: Carly Rae Jepsen Regarding your 18 Months commentary: What makes Calvin unique from almost all other DJs is that he'll sing on his own songs Oh! That's so true (He has a unique accent, too) Although that's the only song on here that he sings on, he gains so much respect from me through that alone. Wait! "Feel So Close" isn't the only song he sings on 18 Months. You forgot to mention "Iron". He sings on that too :'( (I hope you didn't expect that was Nicky Romero's voice) Anyway, all songs present are great. When you say "here", I guess you're refering to the States, don't I? He has already released six (seventh if "We Found Love" is counted) overall singles and his current international single is "Drinking from the Bottle" while "Sweet Nothing" is in the US. I really hope he will release another in America and my bet is "I Need Your Love" (There's some information that it will be, in fact, the next international single after "Drinking from the Bottle"). On the other side, I really hope he could release properly and not as a promotional "We'll Be Coming Back" and "Iron" (which I think it's too EDM for mainstream music right now, although it could change over the months) in America at some point. A few of the instrumentals sound slightly similar, but that's a small flaw I can ignore. Great album Calvin! There are some songs, like "Let's Go" and some parts of "Drinking from the Bottle", that sound very similar to "We Found Love", but as you said, it can be ignored. YAY! for saying 18 Months is a great album which I share as well, although (in my opinion) it's not his best. Favorite Songs--"Let's Go" (sorry juanito ) I respect your opinion, nick, although you know that I'm not agree with it. Great to see "Feel So Close" and "We'll Be Coming Back" as well. :)

Thanks for your comments juan! Oh! That's so true (He has a unique accent, too) Yes! I love his accent! Ugh forgot about that one! Yes I knew it was Calvin Yes I was referring to America. I'm aware of his single releases internationally, but I was focused solely on US success, since that's what's easiest for me to follow and relate with. I agree that "I Need Your Love" will most likely be the next single. As long as it doesn't get in the way of "Figure 8"! I haven't heard his others for comparison unfortunately :( at that face. Ne-Yo's voice does it for me in that song, but production wise, I definitely agree that it is not the best.

Top Singles50. One Direction- One Thing For some reason, people thought this would do better than "What Makes You Beautiful" because it's more mature. However, I think it's the more cookie cutter teen pop song. I've got no problem with that though. It may not have been a hit or one of the album highlights, but "One Thing" is still a fun song from one of the most amazing albums ever! "Shot me out of the sky, you're my kryptonite."49. Kelly Clarkson- Stronger (What Doesn't Kill You) Overall, the Stronger era was somewhat of a flop. Except for this. This song is not only arguably Kelly's biggest hit to date ("Since U Been Gone"?) and one of the biggest hits of the year, it is also a masterpiece. Over a year of empowerment anthems have all tried to be what "Stronger" is: a flawless, easily accessable radio smash! "You know the bed feels warmer sleeping here alone."48. Matchbox Twenty- She's So Mean "She's So Mean" isn't like any other song Matchbox Twenty has released before. It's just so...laid back. I don't know, something about it's just cool. It has a 90s throwback vibe, while still sounding modern. Radio barely touched this, a crime considering their history and this song's digital sales. "She'll turn a knife into your back and then she's calling you baby...crazy."47. Drake ft. Lil Wayne- The Motto I was obsessed with this song when it came out. It's one of the catchiest rap songs I've ever heard. However, the burn rate was ridiculous. It crashed 1-6-18 on my chart before stabilizing. If it hadn't burned out on me so quickly, it would have been much higher. And sorry, but I can't review this song without say it...YOLO "I'm the f**king man, y'all don't get it do you?"46. Nicki Minaj- Va Va Voom Nicki's a flop this era. Commerically. Her music is still fanastic. "Va Va Voom" was intended to be the lead single from Pink Friday: Roman Reloaded, but was scrapped for the much more successful "Starships". This only flopped because Nicki can't get a hit right now. The song is amazing. It's super infectious, and just a lot of fun. "You got that hot s**t, boy you blessed, let me feel up on your chest."45. Drake ft. Rihanna- Take Care This is such a unique song to hear from both Drake and Rihanna. Drake manages to make the verses upbeat and fun, while he and Rihanna both contribute to a beautiful chorus. I'm honestly surprised at how well this performed, but I'm definitely glad it did! "I know you've been hurt by someone else, I can tell by the way you carry yourself."44. Enrique Iglesias ft. Sammy Adams- Finally Found You I've liked all of Enrique's recent material. This, however, comes out on top. It's a really good dance song, but at the same time, a really good love song. Enrique's voice on the song is amazing, as well. For some reason, radio jumped at this, but I have absolutely no problem with that. I hope he can actually get an album out soon, with more songs like this one. Sammy Adams isn't bad either. "In this crazy world of choices, I've only got a few, either you're coming with me or I'm coming with you."43. Rihanna- Diamonds This seems to be a love it or hate it song. I chose love it. "Diamonds" is my favorite Rihanna single since "Russian Roulette" three years ago. The song is beautiful. Who cares if she sounds somewhat like Sia? I can actually understand the words and that's really all that matters. "I saw the life inside your eyes."42. DJ Khaled ft. Chris Brown, Rick Ross, Nicki Minaj & Lil Wayne- Take It to the Head This song for some reason didn't grow on me until about a month after it peaked. I'm glad it eventually did, because it's amazing! The three rappers do a pretty good job. Well, Nicki and Wayne do, and Rick Ross is there too I guess (#irrelevant). Chris kills it though. The chorus is one of the best I've heard all year! I still find myself listening to it often. "I'm in my zone, damn near got my eyes closed, one shot, two shot, I'm gone."41. One Direction- Live While We're Young "Live While We're Young" had the honor of being the first song to debut at #1 on my chart. I was so obsessed when it came out. However, it's very reminiscent of "One Thing". Both songs got old pretty quickly. I still love them both though. The one thing (;)) I like about this song is the subject matter. 1D gettin' dirty... "And if we get together, yeah get together, don't let the pictures leave your phone."- Top Albums 25. Lifehouse- AlmeríaThe thing I love about Lifehouse is that they can make amazing, really powerful ballads, and at the same time, stay a classic soft rock band. Some of the songs on here, namely "Only You're the One" and lead single "Between the Raindrops" are flawless masterpieces. A few songs are pretty boring, such as "Right Back Home", but the anticipation of waiting for the gems can keep me sitting right through those. Lifehouse may just be my favorite Hot AC band ever, and Almería is definitely helping to confirm that for me. Favorite Songs--"Only You're the One" -"Between the Raindrops" -"Where I Come From" -"Gotta Be Tonight" -"Always Somewhere" 24. Christina Aguilera- LotusLotus is the album that finally got me into Xtine. This album has a lot of duds, such as Cee Lo Green-duet "Make the World Move". That's okay with me though, because they are made up for with the songs that are absolutely flawless, such as Blake Shelton-duet "Just a Fool". Christina has one of the most powerful voices in the industry, and though she often has a screaming problem, for the most part, she keeps that under control on this album. I'm gonna miss Christina on the Voice, but at least I still have this great album (with like the worst cover ever)! Favorite Songs--"Just a Fool" -"Light Up the Sky" -"Lotus Intro" -"Cease Fire" -"Let There Be Love" 23. The Script- #3And the award for most creative album title goes to... The Script's #3 for actually putting the # before the number of the album in their discography (take that Beyoncé) Stupid title aside, #3 is a great album. Danny O'Donoghue has one of the most unique voices in the business right now, and he's capable of providing epic hooks, all of which are great on this album. He experiments with rap this time around. The verses on almost all songs are raps. While the raps are by no means bad, they aren't the greatest. The songs sound amazing nonetheless, even if they aren't the same as what brought The Script to fame (Hey that rhymes! Maybe I should be a rapper like Danny! ) Favorite Songs--"Hall of Fame" -"Broken Arrow" -"If You Could See Me Now" -"Good Ol' Days" -"Glowing" 22. Linkin Park- Living ThingsLinkin Park spent most of their fifth album experimenting. After they found the sounds they liked most, they trimmed it down to a little over thirty minutes, keeping only what they found necessary. This definitely worked for them. Short, but by no means simple, Living Things is filled with hypnotizing production and instrumentation, thought-provoking lyrics, amazing vocals, and impressive raps. Almost every song is incredible and memorable. Linkin Park is possibly the most unique band ever. They can do hard rock, soft rock, alternative, metal, AC, pop, electronic, and rap :O This album contains some of all. The heavier parts are the only thing keeping this album from being in the Top 20. Still a fantastic album though. Favorite Songs--"Burn It Down" -"Lost in the Echo" -"In My Remains" -"I'll Be Gone" -"Castle of Glass" 21. Zedd- ClarityI've never heard of Zedd until his single, "Spectrum" (sung by Matthew Koma, who I admitedly thought was a girl singing) reached the Top 40 on pop radio. The song grew on me a lot, and I thought I would try listening to his album, based on hearing the praise given from josh and Au$tin. I'm glad I listened. Clarity is the best dance album this year, even beating out 18 Months and Until Now. Something I like about Zedd, who apparently is Lady GaGa's producer, is that he doesn't seem to be trying for success on this album like Calvin Harris, so it's pure amazing production with good vocals attached. I hope Zedd can get a hit in the future, because he's the best DJ out right now. Favorite Songs--"Clarity" -"Spectrum" -"Fall into the Sky" -"Follow You Down" -"Hourglass" - Top Artists14. Katy Perry Katy Perry charted at #3 with "Part of Me", #4 with "Wide Awake", and #12 with "The One That Got Away". 13. RihannaRihanna charted at #5 with "Talk That Talk" and "Diamonds", #7 late last year with "We Found Love", #9 with "Where Have You Been", #14 with "Birthday Cake" and #33 with "You da One". Unfaithful is in my Top 50 albums. - Singles #40-31, Albums #20-16, and Artists #12-11 will be up tomorrow :)

Favorite Songs--"Burn It Down" -"Lost in the Echo" -"In My Remains" -"I'll Be Gone" -"Castle of Glass" Deserves its own post. Awesome album, glad you like "In My Remains" and "I'll Be Gone".

Ugh forgot about that one! Yes I knew it was Calvin Don't worry! Yes I was referring to America. I'm aware of his single releases internationally, but I was focused solely on US success, since that's what's easiest for me to follow and relate with. I agree that "I Need Your Love" will most likely be the next single. As long as it doesn't get in the way of "Figure 8"! I hope so too. Her label needs to release "Figure 8" in America ASAP. I don't know what are they waiting for. I haven't heard his others for comparison unfortunately :( You should! It's not like 18 Months because he's the lead artist on both of them. I mean that he sings in all the songs (except for the instrumentals, of course) :) Continuing with your Year-End countdown: Songs: "Stronger (What Doesn't Kill You)", "She's So Mean", "Take Care", "Finally Found You" and "Diamonds". Albums: Living Things and Clarity (YES!) Artists: Katy Perry and Rihanna Regarding Clarity: Clarity is the best dance album this year, even beating out 18 Months and Until Now. This is so true. One of the best surprises of 2012. Something I like about Zedd, who apparently is Lady GaGa's producer, is that he doesn't seem to be trying for success on this album like Calvin Harris, so it's pure amazing production with good vocals attached. Well, Zedd is, in fact, one of Lady Gaga's producers for her next album Artpop. I just hope, as josh, that one of them would be the lead single. On the other side, I, personally, don't think Calvin Harris is trying to be successful with his album. I mean that it's true that he becomes mainstream, but if he wanted to be more successful (and crack [more] the US), he should do more featured songs with American people instead of British. (I hope you understand what I mean). BTW, agree with "Clarity" as your favourite song and also, I just noticed I messed up with: "I guess you're refering to the States, don't I?". It should be: "I guess you're referring to the States, don't you?". Hope you understood

Like you said, before he sang all the vocals on his albums, so it feels almost like a sellout to bring in more fans. I have nothing against that, but I just like that Clarity feels more like Zedd than 18 Months feels like Calvin. I don't know... Do you get what I'm saying? I just noticed I messed up with: "I guess you're refering to the States, don't I?". It should be: "I guess you're referring to the States, don't you?". Hope you understood Don't worry I did. There's grammer mistakes in like all of my commentaries so yeah, I wouldn't worry about it :) Next section should be up in about an hour :)

Top Singles40. Bruno Mars- It Will Rain When I first heard this song, I thought it was a snoozefest. I've come to love everything about it though: the lyrics, the vocals, the melody, the eerie background. Well, everything accept that it's a Twilight theme I wish Unorthodox Jukebox included some songs like this one, or at least included this one. "But they're just afraid of something they can't understand."39. Cher Lloyd- Want U Back Well this is...awkward... I made it this far, and realized... I forgot #39 Too late to go back and fix everything, I had to improvise. I decided to go with "Want U Back" to fill the spot. I actually don't really mind though because it really did deserve a spot on the list, and I've actually found myself listening to it a lot lately. It really did deserve to be this high. Well, it's here now This song is just pure fun, with tons of grunts and a really catchy chorus. "UHH!"38. Nicki Minaj- Starships The breakdown on this song hooked me immediately. It's such a great pop song, and the definition of a summer smash. I hear people chanting "Starships were meant to flyyyyyyyy" all the time. It's not hip-hop at all, but if Nicki was gonna put out pop material, I'm glad she gave it such quality. Also, I agree with switching "Va Va Voom" out for this. "And I ain't payin' my rent this month, I owe that."37. Gym Class Heroes ft. Neon Hitch- Ass Back Home Another song people hate that I love. Gym Class Heroes is forgettable, but Neon Hitch is amazing on the chorus. Her voice is really beautiful, and she sings the chorus beautifully, adding some attitude right in the last line of it. I also can't listen to this song without pumping my fist like I'm hitting a drum "You deserve a standing O, cause they'd of just been over it."36. P!nk- Blow Me (One Last Kiss) ! f!rst thought th!s song was really bad, and too rock for pop. By second l!sten, ! loved !t. !t's !ncred!bly catchy, P!nk's vo!ce !s perfect, the "sh!t day" !s used perfectly, and the pre-chorus !s breathtaking. Great job P!nk! "Eyes on fire, eyes on fire, and they burn from all the tears."35. Nickelback- Lullaby Nickelback gets so much hate for some reason. They make catchy songs that appeal to both pop and rock. This song, arguably their biggest pop flop, is one of their absolute bests. Beautiful lyrics coupled with the force in Chad Kroeger's voice makes for an amazing song. "If you can hear me now, I'm reaching out to let you know that you're not alone."34. Dev ft. Enrique Iglesias-Naked Dev's best song ever, and one of Enrique's best too (haven't heard his whole discography). This song is such a beautiful ballad, and it actually has a good, danceable beat too. Their voices collide so well, and the lyrics are fantastic. I was obsessed with this for the first part of 2012. "Cause I don't care what they say, it's our life, life, life."33. 2 Chainz ft. Drake- No Lie Drake is one of the best hook-men in hip-hop right now. And this song is one of his best featured hooks ever, right behind "She Will". 2 Chainz is a joke, but I can actually live with him on this song. It's so catchy, and I can't believe its urban success didn't translate to pop at all! "She think I'm the realest out and I say 'Damn that makes too of us'".32. Cobra Starship- #1nite This song makes me mad that "Middle Finger" was the second single. This probably could've have smashed if it was following "You Make Me Feel..." and I think it would have been bigger than that song if it was the lead single. This song flopping is a crime. It's infectious as fuck, and just flawless. "Tomorrow ain't real, tonight is our truth."31. Trey Songz- Heart Attack This song had great longevity on my chart despite only peaking at #9. Trey is famous for his panty dropper singles, so hearing this was a huge, refreshing surprise. The song is amazing, with tons of passion and emotion, and I still can't believe "2 Reasons" actually did 4x better than this on pop. "Heart Attack" is simply amazing (that's a good song too). "That's the reason I stay around, even though I fell way in too deep."- Top Albums20. Cher Lloyd- Sticks & StonesCher Lloyd finished fourth on the same season of The X Factor that spawned One Direction. Cher is similar in style to Karmin, and almost just as good. These female singer-rappers are amazing. Cher's debut album is filled with fantastic songs. They all have a special Cher touch to them to, the most famous can found on about 1/5 of "Want U Back". I really don't have too much to say about Sticks & Stones. It's just a great, fun album by a promising new star. Favorite Songs--"Oath" -"Want U Back" -"Beautiful People" -"Behind the Music" -"With Ur Love" 19. Karmin- HelloThe one and only EP on the list, Karmin's Hello is more than worthy of being listed amongst these true albums. Karmin's style is so unique, the only person coming close to it being Cher Lloyd, but they are definitely distinct. I actually didn't know until I saw the "Brokenhearted" video that Karmin is actually a duo! :O Nick, the male member of the group, is only there for eye candy for the girls and gaysinstrumentals and background vocals. The true star, Amy, is an incredible singer, and an outstanding rapper! In fact, I think she could beat Nicki Minaj in a rap battle if one were to ever occur. I wish this EP was a full album, because all seven songs on it are fantastic! Favorite Songs--"Hello" -"Brokenhearted" -"I Told You So" -"Coming Up Strong" -"Walking on the Moon" 18. Taylor Swift- RedTaylor Swift's third album, Speak Now, was considered an attempt at trying to establish herself as a true country star. Well she did that, earning 5 country #1s, but now Red seems like it's trying to undo the work of its predecessor. Little country is found on here, though it's still considered a country album. Instead, you'll here a lot of pop and even folk. The folk songs are surprisingly really good, but the standouts on the songs crafted for pop radio, especially the flawless uncriticizable dubstep-influenced secon single "I Knew You Were Trouble." (Yeah, it even gets its own period. That's how legit this song is.) Anyway, while it can be a little slow at times and it's not as good as its flawless predecessor, Red is a great album that is worthy of the huge success it's getting. Favorite Songs--"I Knew You Were Trouble." -"We Are Never Ever Getting Back Together" -"The Moment I Knew" -"Red" -"Begin Again" 17. Bruno Mars- Unorthodox JukeboxBruno Mars is a grower. And I'm not just talking about his music. He took a while to grow on me. His voice, his style, his songs, his lyrics, everything. Now that I don't hate him anymore, I love him! Unorthodox Jukebox is a great album with great songs, but I do have a bone to pick with it. Bruno became famous for his love for women. "Just the Way You Are" was 2010's "What Makes You Beautiful". On this album though, his attitude towards women is much darker, especially on highlight "Natalie". Bruno's style and vocals are still good, and there's tons of variety, so this album is still a win. Favorite Songs--"Natalie" -"Gorilla" -"Young Girls" -"Locked Out of Heaven" -"Moonshine" 16. Nicki Minaj- Pink Friday: Roman ReloadedAfter the success of "Super Bass", I had a feeling that Nicki would try for more pop success. I didn't think she would try THIS hard though. The final 2/3 of the album is pop based, while the first 1/3 is squarely rap. The pop songs are actually really good, but they don't feel like Nicki Minaj. They're pretty cookie cutter, and I'm sure Ke$ha could have performed any of the dance-pop songs on the album well. I'm not the only one that feels like her original fans have been alienated apparently, because along came The Re-Up in November, a re-release consisting of seven new tracks aimed towards the rap audience. Added at the beginning of the album, it makes Roman Reloaded feel more complete. Nicki's success has been declining, so I'm curious to see what she will do for album 3, but for now I've got these 30 great songs to keep me occupied. Favorite Songs--"Marilyn Monroe" -"Starships" -"Va Va Voom" -"Pound the Alarm" -"Whip It" - Top Artists12. Nicki Minaj Nicki Minaj charted at #3 with "Va Va Voom", #5 with "Starships", #10 with "Pound the Alarm", #14 with "Marilyn Monroe", #22 with "Right by My Side", and #39 with "Beez in the Trap". Pink Friday: Roman Reloaded is in my Top 50 albums. 11. Flo RidaFlo Rida charted at #2 with "Whistle", #5 with "Wild Ones", #8 with "Good Feeling", and #13 with "I Cry". Wild Ones is in my Top 50 albums. - Singles #30-21, Albums #15-11, and Artists #10-8 will be up tomorrow! We have reached the Top 10 artists! Which 10 acts have had the most success on my chart? Stay tuned :)
