I feel compelled to say this now, but honestly I don't even know what order I'm gonna put the remaining three songs in. I've been switching them constantly throughout the countdown.

Top Artists 3. Justin Bieber Justin Bieber reached #1 with "As Long As You Love Me" and "Beauty and a Beat", #6 with "Turn to You (Mother's Day Dedication)", #8 with "Boyfriend", #12 with "All Around the World", #16 with "Believe", #21 with "Out of Town Girl", #27 with "Fall", #38 with "One Love" and #39 with "Take You". Justin Bieber has gone from being one of my favorite teen pop stars to one of my favorite pop stars. As his music has matured, my love for it has greatly increased. He scored one of my biggest hits of the year with "As Long As You Love Me", and is set to become a staple on both commercial charts and my personal chart. 2. Taylor Swift Taylor Swift reached #1 with "Eyes Open" and "I Knew You Were Trouble", #2 with "We Are Never Ever Getting Back Together", #4 with "Safe & Sound" and "Ronan", #7 with "Ours", #13 with "Starlight", #19 with "22", #23 with "Begin Again", #33 with "Stay Stay Stay", #45 with "I Almost Do", and #49 with "Red". Taylor Swift's transition to pop music has led her to her most success ever on both commercial charts and my personal chart. Taylor has become a staple on my chart. And my #1 Artist of 2012 is... 1. One Direction One Direction reached #1 with "What Makes You Beautiful", became the only act to debut at #1 with "Live While We're Young" and "Rock Me", reached #2 with "They Don't Know About Us", #3 with "Moments", #5 with "One Thing", #11 with "Nobody Compares", #14 with "Tell Me a Lie", #17 with "Another World", #20 with "I Wish", #22 with "Up All Night", #25 with "More Than This", #26 with "Last First Kiss", #30 with "Save You Tonight", #32 with "Change My Mind", #37 with "Everything About You", #40 with "C'mon C'mon", #44 with "Loved You First", #48 with "Same Mistakes" #50 with "Over Again", and has so far reached #6 with "Little Things". One Direction are easily my favorite new artists of the year. They've put out such flawless material so far, and I'm proud to call myself a Directioner. I hate that they're flopping now :'( - And that concludes my Top Artists of 2012! Later today, I'll post the Top 3 Albums and Top 3 Singles. Stay tuned!

Yay for all 3! Probably the order I would do as well (1D for sure, and Taylor > Justin most likely) 21 songs for 1D? :O I "only" charted 16, although Up All Night came out before my chart started so I probably would have charted more songs. :O

Oh! You have updated a lot and I haven't commented... What I was going for with that was that Calvin enlisted a bunch of popular artists for his album, and produced more mainstream beats. Like you said, before he sang all the vocals on his albums, so it feels almost like a sellout to bring in more fans. I have nothing against that, but I just like that Clarity feels more like Zedd than 18 Months feels like Calvin. I don't know... Do you get what I'm saying? I understand you're point and I agree (partially) that he has been like a sellout with his new album. However, I feel sometimes that he hasn't become like a sellout because he prefered to do the collaborations with people he knew/are his friends or wanted to do with some of them, like Florence Welch, for example, instead of doing the collaborations with a lot of american artists whom he would have guaranteed a lot of (or more) success in the US. Don't worry I did. There's grammer mistakes in like all of my commentaries so yeah, I wouldn't worry about it :) :) Songs: "Blow Me (One Last Kiss)", "Naked", "#1 Nite" (Yay!), "Wide Awake", "Love You Like a Love Song", "Hello", "Payphone", "Safe & Sound", "Glad You Came", "Chasing the Sun", "Die Young", "Call Me Maybe", "Hit the Lights" (Amazing to see at #5) and "Disaster". Albums: Hello, Red and The Wanted Artists: Maroon 5, Selena Gomez and the Scene, The Wanted and Taylor Swift. Regarding your "Let's Go" commentary: The production is great but predictable, and the lyrics are nothing special, but Ne-Yo's vocals allow me to completely ignore the negatives. This man can sing anything and make it sound good. The main reason I don't like "Let's Go" is because of Ne-Yo. I prefer the Calvin Harris mix instead. You can kill me right now. Also, I agree with Slizzard that "Let Me Love You (Until You Learn to Love Yourself)" is more generic than "Let's Go". Sorry :( On the other hand, regarding your expected Top 3, I will say: 1. Justin Bieber - "As Long As You Love Me" 2. Demi Lovato - "Give Your Heart a Break" 3. One Direction - "What Makes You Beautiful" However, as 1D is your favorite artist, I guess they could be atop and they will switch with JB.

Josh: Up All Night came out when my chart was only 40 positions, and I only counted the points accumlated inside the Top 50, so both albums would have charted every song if I had used the Top 100 year-round :O I understand you're point and I agree (partially) that he has been like a sellout with his new album. That makes sense. I see what you're getting at. The music's still great, and that's really all that matters :) (thanks for this flawless face btw) We'll see :)

Top Albums 3. One Direction- Take Me HomeThis year, we were treated to a double dose of the insanely popular boy band, One Direction. I myself am a huge Directioner, and while anticipating this sophomore album, I was hoping for some musical growth to help them stay relevant. Unfortunately, there isn't much of that here, but there are still some signs, such as album highlight "Rock Me", which sounds similar to "E.T." and "We Will Rock You". Musical growth aside, this album is fantastic! All 17 songs debuted in my Top 100 during release week, including "Rock Me" at #1 :O and "They Don't Know About Us" at #2, and a few stayed on for weeks after. The best thing about this album is that Niall has joined the ranks of Harry, Liam, and Zayn, while Louis remains mostly unimportant! The album isn't quite as good as its predecessor, but the album on its own is absolutely flawless! Favorite Songs--"Rock Me" -"They Don't Know About Us" -"Nobody Compares" -"Live While We're Young" -"Little Things" 2. Ke$ha- WarriorI've always considered myself a fan of Ke$ha, but I never thought I would like Warrior as much as I do. The second album to fully chart on my weekly charts, I love nearly every song on here. There is one or two duds such as the Iggy Pop duet "Dirty Love", but the other songs completely make up for that! Ke$ha sounds more artistic and less trashy on this album, and it really works, especially on softer tracks such as "Love into the Light", "Wonderland", and "Past Life" and anthems such as "Die Young", "Crazy Kids" and "C'mon". Ke$ha's sing-rapping is as great as ever, and I think she's even advanced lyrically. Warrior is such a great album, and I find myself listening to it constantly! Favorite Songs--"Love into the Light" -"Die Young" -"Crazy Kids" -"Warrior" -"C'mon" And my #1 Album of 2012 is... 1. One Direction- Up All NightFrom the minute I heard this album, I was almost positive that it would be my #1 album of the year. It's just such a incredible debut! Every song, including bonus tracks and B-Sides, which I felt compelled to add, is flawless. The only song I wasn't a fan of at first was "I Want", and I love that now! The album does a good job of distributing the vocals, with the stronger singers getting the most parts, while the weaker singers still have quite a few verses. The choruses are all insanely catchy, and even though this pure teen pop, something about the album feels truly creative and mature. I still listen to this album at least once every two weeks even with Take Me Home. It's so flawless, and it's my favorite album in a LONG time! Favorite Songs--"Moments" -"What Makes You Beautiful" -"Tell Me a Lie" -"Another World" -"I Wish" - And that concludes my Top Albums of 2012! The Top 3 Singles will be posted in a just a few hours, concluding this countdown :'( After tons of thinking and re-listening, I've finally figured out the order for my Top 3, and I've already saved and downloaded my video to my computer, so it's staying that way. Some of you will be happy, some won't, but oh well, cuz it's my chart Will frontrunner Demi Lovato end up on top? Will One Direction receive a perfect three? Will Justin Bieber pull through? And who will receive the final 3 dedications? You'll see shortly :)

Albums: Warrior (Great to see "Die Young" and "C'mon" as your favourite songs from the album, but sad to not see "Supernatural" :() PS. As you could see, I'm not a fan of 1D nor I have listened to their albums, so I'm not going to give an opinion about them. It would be unfair.

It's time... :) Top Singles3. One Direction- What Makes You Beautiful So this is the song that had to settle for #3 :( It sucks because last year, it would have been #1. In fact, the entire Top 5 would have! This was just such a great year. Anyway, this is the song that introduced me to the amazing One Direction! It's such an amazing song. The group and solo vocals, the chorus, the production, the lyrics, it's all flawless! I was obsessed with this song, a 5 week #1 that spent 20 weeks in the Top 10 and 27 on the chart, the third most of any song. "If only you saw what I can see, you'd understand why I want you so desperately.""What Makes You Beautiful" is dedicated to Hitseeker, for being such a nice and great poster. And the order of My Top 2 Songs of 2012 is... 2. Demi Lovato- Give Your Heart a Break Yes, I stan about this song all the time, but that's because you all hate it, and no one attacks the other two. Yes, this was the biggest hit on my chart. Yes, this does deserve. No, unfortunately, I just couldn't do it I love Demi Lovato. I have since I first heard her sing in Camp Rock. She is a fantastic actor and singer. Unbroken is a flawless album, and this song is a big highlight. It's just a perfect song. Thematically, it's very different. I've never heard a song where the girl is trying to get the boy to open up and take a chance on love. A+ for creative. The lyrics are so good. They tell a story, and I've actually used this song to help with a situation in my personal life. So this song means a lot to me. The vocals are phenominal. Demi has one of the best voices and ranges I've ever heard. She can hit every note perfectly! The part where she sings "I can see it in your ey-eyes" is pure perfection. This song never got old, and simply smashed everything on my personal chart. So why isn't #1? "Cause you've been hurt before, I can see it in your eyes, you try to smile it away, some things you can't disguise.""Give Your Heart a Break" is dedicated to Slizzard because 1. Justin Bieber ft. Big Sean- As Long As You Love Me Justin did it! He made it to #1! I never thought a song would outrank "Give Your Heart a Break", but this managed. This song is my favorite song since Jay Sean's "Down" three years ago :O My second and third favorites? "Give Your Heart a Break" and "What Makes You Beautiful". Why did I put this at #1? Well actually, I was about to put Demi at the summit, but then I put all three songs on repeat shuffle, just to really let them sink in. And that helped make my choice. I enjoyed listening to "As Long As You Love Me" the most. I found myself singing along at the most parts, and I just preferred it in general. Don't get me wrong, I still LOVE the other two, but I just realized that this one tops. "As Long As You Love Me" is nothing but perfection. People hate the lyrics, but I actually love them. The dubstep-influenced production is fantastic, and really does the song justice. The melody and chorus is so catchy, and hard not to sing along to. Even Big Sean delivers one of his best verses ever. Even that is super catchy, and I always rap along. But the main thing that puts this song above everything else is the vocals. The vocals up until Big Sean are great, but the vocals after his verse are simply breathtaking. They get a 20/10! Honestly, that is one of my favorite musical moments in recent memory. It was a 5 week #1 on my chart, spent 19 weeks in the Top 10, and 25 weeks on the chart. This song beat out a lot of competition, and truly deserves its #1 spot. Great job Justin!!! "Us, trust, a couple things I can't spell without you.""As Long As You Love Me" is dedicated to josh for being my first and one of my best Pulse friends, for being the only person to comment on my chart every single week, and for helping me with my embarassing mistakes during this countdown - juanito, you're gonna hate me and I don't blame you but I forgot to put in your dedication :( I feel so bad :'( I'm sooo sorry! :'( I officially dedicate all of Calvin Harris' appearances on all 3 lists to juanito, for being such a great stan and a great new friend :) Corin, I'm sorry :( I officially un demote myself though. Demi's cool with it cuz she and Justin are friends :) So who was the one person that guessed correctly in the poll? - And that's it. That's my countdown. I can't believe it's over! I had so much fun doing this, and I'm actually gonna miss it :( Now I'm even more excited for next year, where my list will be based on chart performance. Tomorrow, I may post a bonus section, so be sure to check that. Also, here is the video of Nick's Top 50 Songs of 2012! It would mean soo much to me if you watched it :)

1D artist & album of the year. Well, it looks like I got my preds right! And I'm so glad Demi isn't #1, even though I'd have preferred 1D to Justin. Thanks for the dedication... I guess. Good list overall... I guess. Good video!
