^RCA Records just tweeted that Wrapped In Red has been certified Platinum so they are expecting some big sales coming up. It's at 330k this week.

Sorry about that. I just realised that my statement was overly dramatic and probably a bit harsh. I see what you were trying to say. I figured it was a joking statement. I didn't have a snappy funny reply prepared so I just went for the explanation.

Gaga is still only $3.99 at Amazon and is the #1 MP3 and #3 on the overall chart, so she should stay pretty steady, but of course Itunes, she's down to #29.

Discount queen.
It should help stabilise sales for a week at least.

^GaGa is not the only one discounted.
Amazon has some digital albums on sale for $1.99.
Katy, Miley, Lorde and Kelly are also discounted at Amazon.

Does that $3.99 price tag interfere with Billboard's first 4 week price tag policy?

Does that $3.99 price tag interfere with Billboard's first 4 week price tag policy? No; the minimum for that is $3.49.

YOUR TOP 15-ISH: Garth Brooks will score his first #1 album since 2001. A cappella kids Pentatonix, the deluxe edition of whose Christmas album is currently #1 at iTunes, move into the Top 10. Here's how it looks headed into the weekend:

Blige (Verve) 35-38k Florida Georgia Line (Republic Nashville) 32-35k Piano Guys (Portrait) 28-31k Lorde (Lava/Republic) 28-31k Luke Bryan (Capitol Nashville) 28-31k

The Sound of Music could open higher if the live telecast goes well.
Buble back in the Top 10!
Pentatonix climbs back into the Top 10 as well.
I wish Mary J Blige could get into the Top 10.
Who are the Piano Guys?

Positions 2-5 could go any way, with projections that close.
Great for Garth Brooks.

So Leona will debut with <28k. Hope she can do 10k at least. Would be nice if it could get into the top 40. :)

Just noticed this- looks like Sir Buble's album will return to the top 10. His Christmas show airs 12/18, when most holiday albums have peaked in sales. So will be interesting to see how much it benefits from that.

Looking at an 80%ish drop for ARTPOP. Yikes. Hopefully it rebounds with some nice-ish Christmas sales.

Wow at 1D dropping over 80%. I don't think it's that surprising for an act like them.

Come on Britney, get that number 2! On par with Blackout :) Blackout 2.0 LITERALLY. Blocked by another Walmart exclusive. That rule never should've been changed!
