I feel like I need to clarify some stuff here, lol. I wasn't boardiciding because of you guys, it was because of the pop posters and a bunch of feuds that broke out. Come to think about it, I think I'd miss this the most if I left. The pop forum is annoying, you'll just stop posting there altogether eventually, I guarantee it

Plus, people there are also a bit hypersensitive. In one of my Danger Zone games, I criticized someone's save choice because I didn't like the song, and they just got all pissy about it even though I was only trying to spark conversation about songs. I mean, we talk all the time about how much 1000HP sucks. None of us really care at all, even the people who like it. If only that existed there, too.

I'm not gonna go through the trouble that popstop did to quote every post where you harassed him but either you were bashing him or you don't know how to spark a conversation. And here I thought all of us only posted in the Rock forum. I guess that's just me, I couldn't care less about any of the other radio genres so I just post here and wherever Baron tags me.

Just noticed this was removed from Billboard's Hot Rock Songs chart three weeks ago.
It was currently #1 there. So one week #1, the next week gone. Was there ever an explanation given by BB?
I'm not sure this has happened before in such a conspicuous way since the Hybrid charts started. I Presume BB (or the label... Or the public) decided that the song was 'no longer rock'?
Personally I'm ok with the idea of the Hybrid Charts, but this sort of thing doesn't help their case.

So why was it ever considered one on Billboard, and removed with no explanation. So stupid.

I can see a dubiously alt song getting to #45 on the Hybrid chart - then being flagged as 'too poppy' and 'retired' or something; But to get all the way to #1, and pulled without explanation, indicates chaos behind the scenes.
Again, it may not be just Billboard's oversight / miscalculation: The labels may have fully promoted her as an alternative rock act, and then realized her Top 40 appeal, and re-classified her.
Regardless, the precedent has been set. Messy.

While I'm mostly on board with these new format/genre charts, the one thing I've never liked about them is that Billboard chooses the genre of a song.

Like how Sam Smith's "Stay With Me" is #10 on Billboard's R&B/Hip Hop airplay chart and they still refuse to put it in their main singles chart.

Nice to see Billboard did one thing right. Now if they can fix everything else they do wrong.
