Does anyone think they could post the two Target tracks? I just moved into college and there isn't a target remotely close and I can't order it online because they don't deliver to P.O. boxes :/ I'm sure they'll surface on YouTube.

At least someone let me know if All The Best Things makes it, I love that song

I forgot this album was coming out. Wow. Jordin Sparks, Dr. Dre, Carly Rae, and Rob! That's a lot!

No "Even Stars Fade" though, that song title always intrigued me. Hopefully it will pop up somewhere. Still haven't heard the other two though, saw a lot of people on Twitter happy with "All The Best Things"

This was only $10.99 at Target so I picked it up. I'm a little concerned because my former manager is probably the biggest Rob Thomas/MB20 fan on the face of the planet and does not like the album. I liked the clips enough to buy it though so hopefully she and I wind up disagreeing.

I'm not liking the new songs so much either, but then again Rob's solo material has always been hit or miss with me. I love most MB20 stuff.

Here are the target tracks, they both sound great! How did you get your hands on the Target tracks? I thought you couldn't get them! "All the Best Things" doesn't disappoint. Another one that gives me chills. "Steady" is just kinda average for me.

How did you get your hands on the Target tracks? I thought you couldn't get them! I have a friend who was able to get a copy of the Target version, they sent me the two tracks. I had already paid for the version on iTunes so I wasn't really feeling dropping another $10 for two extra songs, let alone I just got tickets for one of his shows. Love "All The Best Things," I'd rank it somewhere at the top of the album.

Previewed the album on iTunes and I really like it! Definitely buying it, either on iTunes or at Target. I love both Target tracks!
"One Shot" remains the only song on the album that I dislike.

Steady is very catchy. I like listen to NYLTM and it together, they seem to fit very closely

No sign of his album at the Target closest to me. No shelf space allocated for him either. I'll try another one tomorrow.

I searched all over the Target near me and found ONE copy on the end cap. It did have one of those paper dividers among the riff raff CDs but none stocked there. I liked the album overall but it was different from what I was expecting. I loved Paper Dolls and Pieces.

I've actually been seeing on Twitter that a lot of the Targets never put the disc on shelves and people had to ask them to get it from the back. Kinda annoying, Rob did tweet about it the other day

On another note, I heard Unwell come on the radio earlier and it had never occurred to me how different Rob's voice sounds now.

Rob's voice is much better now. He used to sound like a bleating goat, in my opinion, at the height of his popularity. I still enjoyed the songs but not always his voice. Anyway, for Pieces and Lie to Me ALONE this album is worth the money. WOW

I hope the album sells well, reviews have generally been very positive so far, with the exception of the first one that came out (which I completely disagreed with).

This is the first Target exclusive album I've seen this happen to. Him and Carly Rae Jepsen.

HITS didn't bother including an estimate for him in either of their sales updates for the week. I'll be shocked if he doesn't crack 10k first week.

I thought he could do 20-25k without a hit but I guess I was wrong. Love All The Best Things. I agree with someone above who stated that song would be in the top part of the album for them. Me, too. That song definitely has more of a rock vibe that MB20 fans would probably respond to. Also, I just put The Great Unknown to the ultimate test. Put it in my car stereo for a three hour drive today. Really sounds great going down the interstate. :) I think my initial thoughts on the album hold true but I may be inclined to move Lie To Me up several spots on my list and maybe move Heaven Help Me down a few spots. I still love this song but the ending is a little weird or something. He quits singing when I think he shouldn't. LOL!

Well, he had his first TV performance this morning, The Today Show, and the album is now #2 (physical CDs) on Amazon. Disturbed is #1. Every little bit helps. :) But yeah, that's really disappointing. Well, as we discussed in the Trust You thread Rob made some career choices along the way and he never got into the superstar echelon so it will be interesting to see where he goes after this album. Again, if all Atlantic can muster is a Today Show appearance and a couple exclusive tracks at Target then maybe it's time to part ways with Atlantic.

As I said in the HITS thread, his estimates probably aren't included just because he's on Atlantic and HITS talks about Atlantic and its artists as little as it can. Wait for estimations on the building charts.

Kurt Pardon my ignorance but what do HITS have against Atlantic?
