3 1 LUKE BRYAN I See You 7803 7438 365 57.25 If this holds on until Sunday, the "Crash My Party" album will have 5 airplay #1s. Congrats. However, this is my least favourite single of his era. I even prefer "That's My Kind of Night" to this. Wouldn't it be six? Every Crash My Party single went #1 on Mediabase... That's My Kind Of Night was a #2 on the airplay chart.

O.K., if you were to combine charts, it would be six.

You don't need to combine if we're talking about Mediabase (and that's what I referenced - plus that's what the poster was referencing in posting Mediabase airplay data). Crash My Party, That's My Kind of Night, Drink a Beer, Play it Again and Roller Coaster were all Mediabase #1s.

5/6 #1 singles from the CMP era, I don't care, it still shows that country radio has a great relationship with Luke Bryan's music. Congrats to him getting another #1 Since we're talking about Mediabase, which is the one people are saying didn't go number one? It's starting to bother me because AllAccess lists all six Crash My Party releases (I See You pending) as Mediabase chart toppers. Feel like I'm going insane

Only 5 of them went #1 on Billboard ("That's My Kind Of Night" had a lengthy stay at #1 on Hot Country Songs, but it got held to a #2 peak on Billboard Country Airplay by Thomas Rhett's "It Goes Like This". TMKON did get a week at #1 on Mediabase though).

Well after today's update, it looks like Luke will push for a second week at #1 on both charts. He lost 14 spins, but gained a quarter million in audience, while "Sun Daze" posted slight losses in both categories. If this is the case, then we will already have had 3 multi-week #1's to start the year and it won't even be Valentine's yet. This is a trend I would like to see more of: multi-week #1's.

Seeing since Crash My Party has outperformed Everywhere in terms of top twos (5 #1s and 1 #2 versus 4 #1s and 2 #2s), Everywhere's singles has stayed at #1 longer than Crash My Party's. A comparison:
1. Everywhere: a. It's Your Love-with Faith Hill-1997-6 weeks b. Everywhere-1997-2 c. Just To See You Smile-1998-6 d. Where The Green Grass Grows-1998-4
2. Crash My Party: a. Crash My Party-2013-3 weeks b. Drink A Beer-2014-2 c. Play It Again-2014-4 d. Roller Coaster-2014-1 e. I See You-2015-1 so far
Average chart position: Everywhere-1.33, Crash My Party-1.17

Does anyone have an idea of when his next single, which I assume is Kick Up the Dust, is coming out?

That's what I assumed thanks. I was just wondering if there were any different rumors out there.

Bit premature, but anyone want to give a guess as to how well this new single/album will do coming off the crazy amount of success the Crash My Party era has had?

As I've pointed out before, Tim's wonderful 'One Of These Days' made it to #1 @ R&R/Mediabase by virtue of tying 'I Just Want To Dance With You' in spins for one week and therefore snagging that one week in the penthouse in accordance with R&R's chart policy at that time since all 207 R&R/Mediabase reporters had Tim's tune on their playlists as opposed to the 206 reporters spinning George's tune. King George rose to #1 for a two week stay the following week.
Tim & George would meet at the top of the charts almost exactly one year later, as 'Write This Down' ended the 6-week stay at #1 of 'Please Remember Me' and began a 5-week run at #1, coincidentally in the same week in which R&R/Mediabase switched from ranking songs by spins to their new points system.

Completely a guess, but if he debuts the song on the ACMs it will open with sales of 150,000 copies. Take between 8 and 12 weeks to reach the top, and stay for at least 3 weeks. The album debuts north of 500,000 copies again, maybe, just maybe over 600,000.

This song reminds me more of his Tanlines & Tailgates material. It has a heavier guitar part that was more prominent in songs like "Kiss Tomorrow Goodbye" and "Drunk On You". It's definitely one of my favorite Luke songs. In fact, he closed out this album with my favorite songs (Roller Coaster and I See You).

I like it more now than I initially did too, but it's nowhere near my favourite on the album. It's pretty evident that "I See You" will get a second week at #1. Any guesses as to whether or not they go with a seventh single? I know it's unlikely, as the speculation is that he'll premiere something new around ACM time, but I'd love to see one more single from Crash My Party. If they do, I'd love to see "We Rode In Trucks" (or "Dirt Road Diary" as a backup). It'll be odd to me if they went six singles deep and neither of those sees a release. I guess that speaks to the quality of the album though.

Two weeks #1 with the highest spin total ever! I really think he will get 3 weeks #1 on Billboard. The lead over #2 is so large.
Poor FGL will get blocked again by Luke Bryan (most certainly on BB at least) :o
Luke confirmed on Bobby Bones show that this is the final single off the album. He lamented that "Shut It Down" was not a radio single, so that's a possible hint on what could've been next. I'd be very curious if country radio would really play a 90s-sounding country song like "Shut It Down" though.
It's also possibly a hint of what sound he will go with on his next album. I notice Luke has recently decided to choose his personal favorites like "Roller Coaster", "I See You" (and could've been "Shut It Down") as radio singles rather than bro-favorites like "Beer In The Headlights" or "Out Like That". I expect this trend will continue onto his next album.

Yeah I'm assuming this will get three weeks at the top, even if it starts falling. Kind of like that awful song "Burnin' it Down" did over the summer in it's second week (I'm pretty sure it lost its bullet but kept the top spot because "Leave the Night On" was far enough behind it).
When he played Shut It Down in concert (such a great performance, btw) I thought it was a song from an older CD because I was not as familiar with the album as I am now. I thought to myself, "wow if Luke's new songs sounded like more like this, I think he could be even bigger than he is now, crossing pop with country in a tasteful way."

If Luke's upcoming offerings are more like "Kiss Tomorrow Goodbye," "Roller Coaster," and even "I See You" and significantly less like "That's My Kind of Night" and "Country Girl" I might just start to come around on him again. I'd prefer a move back to the foundation of his first two albums, which I adore, but I don't mind romantic, charming, pop-country Luke. It's smarmy, leering, hip-hop wannabe Luke I want to punch in the face.

RadioWave Monitor sees "I See You" at the top for a 3rd consecutive week. They have been spot on with having the same number one as the Monday Billboard Airplay Charts for the past months. Let's see whether they will share the same winner this week again.
