He's not gonna release Backseat..lol.
Saw him and got to chat with him 3 times this past weekend. Of course we talked a lot about singles/album. I can confirm that they're gonna be done with this single "soon" and they already have plans and a new single in the works. I'm absolutely positive that y'all are gonna like this one. I cannot waitttttttt!!!!!

They honestly need to let this one go soon, it's been obvious that it won't peak any higher. I feel every week a little more momentum slips away as we get further away from the album release. I don't see any reason to still be promoting this one, especially since it's not even selling that well.

He has to go with Running For You. The whole album is great, but that's not just a brilliant song, but one of the more radio friendly tracks he's got on it. Lipstick, Comeback Kid, That Was Us are probably my 3 favorites, but those probably wouldn't fare well at radio

I don't see Lipstick and Comeback Kid being that far fetched for radio ( Although maybe the latter slightly more of a tough sell). I see Lipstick, Girl Of The Summer and Complicated being in a good way the "radio friendly" songs. Definitely looking forward to the next single and certainly want to see this album milked for all its worth as there are great songs on it that NEED to be heard!

"I'm To Blame" is finished. Kip lost 71 spins and 350k in audience today and has lost 121 spins and close to 400k in audience the past two days.

It means a new single very shortly, so yes, she will be happy. "I'm To Blame" wasn't going to be accomplishing anymore anyway.

I think "Wild Ones" or "Magic" are singles which could come next.

I think "Wild Ones" or "Magic" are singles which could come next. "Magic" sounds so different than anything on radio or even the album, I love it.

I think "Wild Ones" and/or "What Ya Got On Tonight" may work well in the context of today's radio environment. Or maybe even "Girl Of The Summer"? I mean that song is about reminiscing on summer love and well, summer is over so...

I think "Wild Ones" or "Magic" are singles which could come next. Lots of great songs to choose from, but those would be the absolute last two songs i would choose. Not a fan of the chorus of either, particularly Wild Ones. I really don't see why they would release anything but Running For You or What You Got On Tonight. Those two strike me as the only songs that are going to get Kip back to challenging for #1. Girl Of The Summer would make a great 3rd single, but I doubt it's single #2.

Well, "Wild Ones" and "Magic" just feel like the most anthemic songs he could possibly release (though "What You Got On Tonight" approaches that) and are a style radio seems to still really like. "Girl Of The Summer" could be a choice now still too, it's not really a song about Summer, just has the title.
Whatever he releases, it needs to stand out the way "Truck" and "Pretty Girl" did. Radio needs to be reminded why they should play his music.

Not sure if it means anything regarding future singles, but I saw a video for "Girl Of The Summer" on CMT Pure Country a few weeks ago (but that song probably makes no sense for the next single since it is almost fall), and according to Wikipedia, videos for "Comeback Kid," "What Ya Got On Tonight" and "Lipstick" -- perhaps one of these three is next?

He actually did those little teaser videos for some of the other songs as well... I think there were 7 videos total. So, it really has no impact on the single. I wish I could just tell y'all lol. But yes, I actually AM happy. I don't mind I'm To Blame, I love just about everything that he releases..but there is soooo much amazing material that many don't get to hear and like previously stated, we gotta get Kip back on radio! They need to be reminded why he got 3 back-to-back #1 songs as a new artist... I mean they played him for a reason!! I really think this next single though is going to do wonders for him and I can't wait for it to happen!! I'm gonna try find out when they plan on announcing it for you guys.. I'll see what I can do.
