64. Lake Street Drive - Call Off Your DogsPeak: 11(4 weeks)Wks: 21Album: Side PonyTrack: 3Genre: 70's Retro PopThose who love all eras of music will enjoy this song. That 70's sound was what blew me away since the first time I heard it. The video is so damn "hip" too. Bell Bottoms, head Bandanas and that girl "kills" it on the cello.

62. Duran Duran - What Are The ChancesPeak: 9(2 weeks)Wks: 17Album: Paper GodsTrack: 7Genre: New Wave..and what 80's lover's chart would be complete; without an appearance of The 80's icons ;Duran Duran? This is the 3rd single off "Paper Gods" that made my weekly top 50. It's one of my favorite songs off the album. This is more of a New Romantic ballad and Simon LeBon's vocals always gives the songs, that epic sound. For your viewing pleasure; a live version of the song.

61. The Hundred Days - Tattoo Girl Peak: 9(3 weeks)Wks: 15Album: Really?Track: 2 Genre: Indie Rock This is the second song I'm charting from this band. The first one was a huge hit on my charts in 2015. It was their theme song; also called "The Hundred Days". This is another uptempo, Indie ,Rock, bouncer that I wish had gotten noticed on the actual Alternative charts too. . I also brought back the hot tattooed girl from the first fan art I made.

60. Trans-X - How Long Lasts Love (Special Extended 2016 Remix)Peak: 7(3 weeks)Wks: 11Album: Pascal Languirand RemixTrack: 1Genre: Canadian High EnergyYou are bound to find many surprises on my charts. This was a song that was first released 2 years ago, but got a 2016 remix that has all the right ingredients to be played in an Italo Disco club. Trans-X was actually one of the bands to start the whole Synth craze of the 80's with their 1982 classic; "Living On Video"; which was also given heavy rotation on the world famous K-ROQ.

59. Atlas Genius - StockholmPeak: 8Wks: 19Album: Inanimate ObjectsTrack: 3Genre: Indie Alt SynthpopOnly nine songs left till we reach the 50 biggest songs of the year. At #50 is a band who has had enormous success on my year end charts. last year Atlas Genius scored my #1 song of the year with "Molecules". That song rode a great wave right into 2016, so you might see it again this year. "Stockholm" was the 3rd single I charted from their lat album. This band has a special brand of production that clicks with me every time.

57. CHVRCHES - Bury It feat. Hayley WilliamsPeak: 7Wks: 15Album: Every Open Eye Extended editionTrack: 16Genre: Indie SynthPopand we are up to the 3rd and highest charting CHVRCHES song ;on my chart, this year. This time they get a little help from Paramore's Hayley Williams; which I believe made the song even more special. The song was already epic in the synth department, but Hayley added another brand of epicness to the song.

55. Foals - Mountain At My Gates Peak: 8Wks: 21Album: What Went DownTrack: 2 Genre: Indie Alt RockHere is one of the best and most popular songs on the Alt charts and among the Rock posters. It's the first time this band gets a slot on my year end charts, but after this amazing song; I'll be looking out for their new material. This particular song; though already melodically catchy; also has one of the best build ups to a song's outro ;I have heard in years.

54. Charli XCX - Famous Peak: 9(4 weeks)Wks: 21Album: SuckerTrack: 9 Genre: Pop Charli XCX is a hit or miss for me artist, but she does seem to find her way onto my year end charts with her brand of Punky Pop music. I really enjoyed the guitar hook of this song and her vocals always have a strong range. It's crazy, but the Pop songs I do like; seldom find their way onto the actual Top 40. Go figure. maybe they too guitar oriented for the pop crowd?

53. Good Charlotte - Makeshift Love Peak: 8(2 weeks)Wks: 21Album: Youth AuthorityTrack: 2 Genre: Pop PunkWe go from Charli XCX to Pop Punk icons; Good Charlotte. This band had some major success on all charts in the early 2000's. I thought this song best captured that classic sound of theirs'. It also became a big Top 10 hit on my own charts. It's a shame these 2000's bands hardly find success on the Alt charts anymore.

It climbed steadily up the chart until it finally found a home at #8 for 2 straight weeks. I always love when bands upload these live videos of their hit songs. This one captures the song's essence perfectly.

49. ABC - Viva LovePeak: 5Wks: 15Album: The Lexicon of Love IITrack: 2 Genre: New RomanticMany 80's icons made comebacks this year. ABC is one of my favorite English bands from the 80's and when I heard they released new music ; I was ready to chart them once again. The Lexicon of Love II picks up where The first album started. they captured that same early to mid 80's vibe with the strings and romantic melodies they are known for. I will most likely chart more songs from the album in 2017.

48. Bon Jovi - This House Is Not For SalePeak: 1Wks: 17Album: This House Is Not For SaleTrack: 9 Genre: Heartland RockThe first single off Bon Jovi's latest album is my #1 song as we speak. It has their trademark sound they are known for on songs like "You Give Love A Bad Name", "Born To Be My Baby" etc.. I've charted almost everything Bon Jovi since way back in 1983; when they first hit the music scene with "Runaway". The new album is great and I will surely be charting more Bon Jovi in 2017. This song will also be back on my charts next year.

46. Bora York - Secret Youth Peak: 7(2 weeks)Wks: 20Album: Secret YouthTrack: 7 Genre: Indie Synth PopThis is the title track off Bora York's First full length album. They are a husband and wife synthpop band from New York who had a huge hit on my last year's chart with the song "Let Loose". This was one of my favorite Synthpop songs with that more romantic/mellow Love ballad vibe and it spent a whopping 20 weeks on my weekly top 50.

45. Scott Weiland & the Wildabouts - Hotel Rio Peak: 8(3 weeks)Wks: 26Album: BlasterTrack: 3 Genre: Hard RockThe late Scott Weiland was one of my favorite Rock vocalists ever. Stone Temple Pilots and Velvet Revolver are two of my favorite bands, so when I heard That Scott had formed a new band; I quickly began charting songs from the album Blaster. "Hotel Rio" has everything I love about Scott's vocals and style of writing and went on to become the 3rd and highest peaking single off the album. It also spent just about as much time on the charts as one of my #1 songs usually does.

44. White Widdow - Carry The HeartachePeak: 7(3 weeks)Wks: 22Album: CrossfireTrack: 9 Genre: Glam Rock Power BalladCrossfire is the second full length album for White Widdow. They are one of my favorite AOR/Glam rock revival bands active right now. This is a great Power Ballad in the style of Winger and Bon Jovi with vocals that remind me of the late, great, Jani Lane, from Warrant fame.. The band has just released their 3rd album called "Silhouette" and the first single; "Surrender Your Heart" is already making its way into my top 50. You will no doubt see more of White Widdow in 2017.

43. Grand Design - Get Up N Love SomeonePeak: 5Wks: 19Album: Thrill Of The NightTrack: 7 Genre: Glam Metal Grand Design is another Swedish Glam Metal revival band that I have been regularly, charting for a few years now. They are known for their Def Leppard sound that ranges from the 70's to the 2000's. This song captured The Def Leppard style of "Pyromania" with a bit of "Hysteria". "Thrill of The Night" is a great album to check out if you like your Glam Metal with a harder edge.

42. Abominables - FeverPeak: 6(2 weeks)Wks: 25Album: Pseudo Super ScienceTrack: 3 Genre: Spanish Indie RockSpanish Rock has a special place in my heart. This band manages to capture that brand of Pop Rock that so flawlessly incorporates synthesizers in to the music. They also use the 80's style of recording. You can hear it in the instruments. The current lineup of the band consists of Abulon(form Victimas Del Doctor Cerebro, fame) and 4 very talented female musicians. The apparel is very much like the new Wave style of the 80's too. This particular song had more of a pop groove to it, but still very true to Spanish Rock style.

Paul Stanley Peak: 5Wks: 21Album: Origins, Vol. 1Track: 4 Genre: Hard RockThey said it would never happen, but somehow Paul Stanley did guest vocals on this Free; cover of "Fire and Water". The song is the first single off Ace Frehley's Origins, vol 1 album and together they did a great rendition of the 70's classic. I'm a huge Paul Stanley fan, so I chart everything he is involved in. This song was a big Top 5 hit on my chart this summer.
