Luke & Dierks are hosting again per a commercial at the Grammys I saw this, and now I can skip. Sorry, but as hosts they were painful last year (and ratings tanked).

I liked Dierks. Luke is better than Blake, but not by much haha! Just my opinion.

I hope Luke and Dierks go better this year because I felt Dierks a bit lost last year but I didnt care about it too much because it was his first time.

Should do like CMA'S have a male and female, instead of 2 guys.

Honestly, Dolly Parton would be excellent... has she done it before? She must have, right? Well she'd be amazing, she always keeps me laughing!

Dolly Parton hosted the 22nd CMA Awards back in 1988, but that's it. She would be an excellent host, imo. If they want someone a little younger/more current, I think Kellie Pickler would also make for an excellent co-host paired with a male act.

I believe she hosted the 1999 ACMs. I watched a YouTube video of her hosting it. She was very funny.

According to this she has never hosted the ACMs. In 1999, Reba McEntire started her decade+ long reign as the host of the show, but in 1998 it appears there was no official host so perhaps that year they had a random assortment of stars have minor hosting duties and she was one of them?

Ok, maybe it wasn't the ACMs, but I went looking for the video and couldn't find it. I know I watched it, maybe it was the CMAs, because it was a country show. She wore a blue dress in it. I know I didn't make it up, cause I'm not that creative, lol. So, I'm wrong for sure, but now I'm just scared because I can't find this video. I'm not crazy I swear, haha!

Well like I said above, she did host the CMAs one year in the late 80s, so it's quite possible that it was from that, haha.

The video quality was much better than the 80s and she didn't have her 80s hair. I think Shania was part of this show. I may have to give up and accept it was a dream or something. She should host then, but I doubt that.

I'm not upset about either of 'em hosting again. I think Luke's comedic timing is just naturally weaker than we've been spoiled with from hosts of other shows. Reba and Brad/Carrie are arguably the best host(s) of any music awards show out there, country or otherwise. When you take into consideration that hosts of other awards shows also end up being comedians (Fallon, Kimmel, Corden, DeGeneres, Colbert, [insert late night white guy here]), standards are set even higher. So it's tough, but I commend him for coming back for year 5, and Dierks for year 2.
