I'm surprised this dropped so fast, especially since it jumped from 6-1. I thought it had at least would have been #1 for 3 wks...

I also think they will go with Summer Nights. I did not like it at first, but it could do well on radio. But I think Love Who You Love could be a gret second single too.... I gues we'll know by the end of the week.

"Me Too" by Toby Keith and "Sittin' on Go" both had 1-week stays at #1 despite jumping up from #6. "My Second Home" went 7-1-6. "Me Too" and "My Second Home" also spent only 4 weeks total in the Top 10. Granted, that's 1993-1997 we're talking about, which is entirely different from 2009 chartwise, but still.

Didn't Taylor Swift go from 6-1 and then spend 6 weeks at the top with "Our Song"?

I just did a survey for their next single. The songs included were "Forever," "Love Who You Love," "Once," and "Summer Nights."

It would be interesting if they picked "Forever", just so we could have two songs with that title chart in the same year. There were two different "How Was I To Know"s on the chart in 1997, so why not.

^ I know you're not the biggest Rascal Flatts fan, but I'm curious what you think of the last song on their latest CD, "Why". To me it doesn't seem as over-produced as many of their other recent songs, and the lyrics are quite strong.

^I haven't bought the CD yet. I'm waiting for sis to beg mom to buy it, since sis is the big RF fan of the house. Not all of us buy CDs willy nilly you know. I only have three or four albums in my house with a 2008 copyright date on, and two of them I won from the 9513.

There were two different "How Was I To Know"s on the chart in 1997, so why not. There were also two Tiny Town's released in 2005, although that didn't go as well because both songs failed to chart.

Anyway, here is a link for the song "why".....it's one of the most powerful songs i have heard in a long time. www.youtube.com/watch?v=HcbQlD7UKyY

I just did a survey for their next single. The songs included were "Forever," "Love Who You Love," "Once," and "Summer Nights." That will be tough since three of these songs have charted already with unsolicited airplay and the last seems like an album favorite...
