Little Big Town's "Better Man" written by Taylor Swift is now the #1 song on iTunes, nearly double of Closer's sales.

Drake's Fake Love has unseated Starboy as #1 on Spotify US!
1 NEW Drake - Fake Love 1 1 (x1) 1,483,440 2 -1 The Weeknd - Starboy 34 1 (x8) 1,407,532 +45,948 3 -1 The Chainsmokers - Closer 89 1 (x70) 1,335,194 +35,618
The song is basically Hotline Bling 2.0 slash rumored Rihanna diss, so it'll be interesting to see it potentially hold off Closer in the coming weeks. I mean yes, we'd prefer Starboy or 24K Magic at the top any day, but it's assuring to see atm that Closer wouldn't be getting any closer to One Sweet Day's record.

7. Jane Zhang - Dust My Shoulders Off (feat. Timbaland) For everyone who doesn't know Jane: she is a Chinese popstar who will have her debut album in English soon. This has just entered Top 10 iTunes. It was out of the top 10 then randomly it's increasing like this out of nowhere? Did she perform? What happened? Where did she come from? Just heard about this: She and her husband and team are literally buying THOUSANDS of US iTunes accounts by the minute. They did the same thing in China too, buying thousands of copies of her own album to inflate the sales figure to fool people into thinking she's relevant. I just checked her forum on Baidu and it seems like her fans from China are really organizing a campaign. Scroll down to the 5th post: tieba.baidu.com/p/4816706571This is so... Regardless if this is true or not, here are some other factors why Dust Off Your Shoulders is having a great momentum currently (if you'll check Kworb's archives, it actually peaked to No. 4 on iTunes already): - Priced 0.99 cents. This is really an amazing move for an independent debut, considering its both in standard price at the same time as affordable as the 0.69-cent sale discount. - Timbaland's comeback. Both Timbaland and Jane Zhang seem to have not much promotion to deal with, but Timbaland is definitely full support on this one. - Featured in the Hot Tracks of the iTunes Store. - Her official VEVO has a teaser for the music video, and has already 1/4 of the views her audio has (200,000) after being released just this Friday. Anyways, whatever she's doing, its working! I love the song, if she really breaks into American's market with this move, I am all for Asian invasion for 2017

UPDATE:
Don't Let Me Down finally wraps its 23-week run. Also at the rate where Cheap Thrills is going, it'll be a while before this list updates so thanks for those who tuned in!
On the other hand, to celebrate the thousand views this thread has received, I've decided to include as well longevity ranks for artists in the top 10. At this point, The Chainsmokers look set to be challenging 32 weeks.
Thank you once again for the support!

bluepotato : Yeah, that's what I mentioned. 32k points a week would be enough to pass Adventure of a Lifetime, which might be possible. - I'm still waiting for Father Stretch My Hands Part 1 to finally leave for good. - HOW IS YOU DON'T OWN ME STILL BACK?! I mean, I'm not complaining, but this re-entry blows my mind. - Unbelievably, it's still rising in radio. Kudos to Kanye for that. - The song was featured in a Toyota Corolla commercial. Both the original and Grace's version got some serious sales boost

Right, but it had about 30k sales and 10 million streams just on YouTube in this tracking week. That alone should've totaled 14k points, which should be more than enough to get in the top 30, maybe even top 20, not a re-entry at #89. It's also not on Streaming Songs at all, which suggests an error. So after further reviewing Billboard's published charts for this week (*phew*), here's what I gathered: Hot 100: #89 (re-entry, second week) Digital Song Sales: #13 (first week) Radio Songs: nope Streaming Songs: nope (peaked #23) On-Demand Songs: nope YouTube: nope Spotify Viral 50: #8 (first week) I'm guessing all those 10 million streams you're suggesting were not counted. And the top song on Spotify Viral 50 this week was "White Noise" by Ella Vos, which I have no idea of. More interestingly this week on www.billboard.com/charts/youtube, "PPAP (Pen-Pineapple-Apple-Pen)" by PIiko-Taro is at No. 2.

What the f**k? Juju On Dat Beat re-entered at #89 this week. It should be top 30 or close to it. They must be missing most, if not all, of its streams. I mean, it got 10 million YouTube streams last week. Is there someone we can ask about what's going on with Juju? Went to Kworb and found that "Juju on That Beat" had zero digital sales before it was finally released in the iTunes Store on September 30, where it debuted at No. 47. This will suggest that its previous debut of #57 on the Hot 100 was purely driven by streaming. As of today, the song has zero airplay. Also as of October 9, Juju is second to Closer as the most streamed song in YouTube US: www.kworb.net/youtube/insights/us.html

Let's pretend 24 K and Starboy don't make it, is there anything else that is supposed to come out to challenge Closer? Maroon 5 is releasing this Friday. Maybe that song will be as big as Sugar. Yeah, it's called "Don't Wanna Know" featuring Kendrick Lamar. Already looks like another Payphone to me.

This Is What You Came For is still in the Top 10! Way to go feoba ! You slayed 8/10 (Starboy is at #3) One person got a better score than feoba ... Results will be up in 10 minutes! I know, no worries! Just that she's the only one with TIWYCF predicted in the Top 10 and deserves the honorable mention, coming from a Navy here so carry on haha
