Well, yeah. I knew him as an actor/writer, but my point was that it seems like a 50-59 split. He's had enough notable music that Redbone isn't notable because of his being an actor background. Target audiences already knew his music. He is much better known for being an actor than a singer. Redbone is his only top40 hit. Chart-wise yes he's struggling, but not when both Because the Internet and 3005 exist, a conceptual album with that legendary GIF cover and an iconic music video for 2010's hiphop wyd

It's a perfect music meme come true! Good song + good content!!! Plus Redbone is discounted and has a healthy gain of streams and airplay so all is good! Slay

Damn 31st week... Only two other songs - Before He Cheats & Higher - took longer to get to top 10 I was wondering what songs they were the other day, thank you for that!

Wait why did billboard say that having 4 different number ones in a row hasn't been done in years if starboy -> BB -> B&B -> SOY happened in January? But that was Black Beatles' 7th week already, they're talking about new consecutive No. 1s.

Is SJLT falling due to streaming? Seems like it's AirPlay and sales are still climbing. I don't think it fell at all performance-wise, Mask Off just happens to have had a significant streaming boost this week.

Is he refering to replacing himself as the featured artist? Because he is not the first one to replace himself at #1. Think the right phrasing would've been "first artist ever to have two sets of back-to-back number ones", he already has replaced himself before with "Love Yourself" dethroning "Sorry".

So what are Malibu's prospects for next week? I know it won't debut in 5/27 but there's no thread for June Actually, I've read somewhere it may debut as high as #62 with just half a day of the tracking week (54,000 units) 😱

So to recap this week so far, Despacito has gained the upper hand on sales and streams than I'm the One with both versions combined, That's What I Like is now #1 on radio and the greatest airplay gainer, Mask Off is now the#1 trending video on YouTube while Sign of the Times will come out on Monday. The Cure is discounted. Not to mention a last day-Miley Cyrus release on Thursday.
I am ready.

I don't like weeks like this when an entire album debuts (even if I really like the album like in the case of Damn) and almost everything is pushed down but the #1 for Humble was absolutely worth it. On the contrary, Don't Wanna Know, Starboy, and Fake Love are all gone and I am all for this quick turnover rate rather than having dead weight in the charts for weeks. Love 2017!

Sign of the Times has broken Hello's record for the fastest ascent to US iTunes No. 1 with 19 minutes. On top of that:
- 10:1 ratio downloads with TWIL (#2) - over 140,000 sales in first 6 hours - Hourly play on pop iHeart stations - three Apple Music playlists, including "Today's Hits" and "Best of the Week"
I'm all ready for this! SOTT for #1

Did Drake had airplay, YouTube? His songs were not even counted for the whole week, making the feat more impressive. Passionfruit has some radio airplay atm and should stay in the top 10 next week

Amazing debut for Portland! What do you guys think would Passionfruit's debut be? It currently has bigger streams than Portland at Spotify by 400k plays and #9 on iTunes
