What caused Carrie's increase?? And that is one countrified top 50!!! It was probably the Robin Roberts interview. That's what I thought, but I didn't really think that would impact album sales??...

1 1 TAYLOR SWIFT BIG MACHINE 327,493 -69%SPEAK NOW So Taylor did have the typical fall for a big-named artist.... At this point who cares? Her second week sales are more than most artists' FIRST week sales. LMAO And this is coming from someone who is not even a fan.

That's only a little bit more than Eminem's second week sales were. Eminem didnt have nearly as big of a percentage drop. That puts Taylor at about 1.375 and Eminem at about 2.935. Difference of 1.56 million. With about 7 and a half weeks left, Taylor needs to beat Eminem by an average of 208,000 copies per week. I'm not really sure how Taylor will stabalize/drop/rise during the Holidays but it's definitely possible. What will Eminem sell during the holiday weeks? Remain steady? 50k+? 75k? Great jump for Mumford...I'd love some 30/35k+ weeks during the holidays! Not looking so good for KOL. Avoiding purposely CHR music may have retained some credibility but they could definitely use a buzzy hit like SOF/US. Just assuming Eminem steadily sells about 35,000 each week (he'll see an uptick with the holiday shopping season) Taylor Swift would actually have to sell roughly at least a mean of 240,000 copies per week in order to eclipse Eminem. Eminem has #1 all but locked up for 2010 at this point, and I don't even think it's a given Swift's latest will eclipse "Recovery" in terms of overall sales necessarily. Namaste, Lisping Hibiscus Yep. Eminem has it locked.

Getting closer to 1 million each week . Can't wait to see these numbers explode next week when she snatches everyone's wigs at the CMAs Yeah, she's going to sweep the CMAs. Should crack 20K at least once in one of the upcoming weeks.

Once again, Taylor Swift was the only act who sold more than the acts that were in the top 10 last year

Not sure what's causing Florence's album to keep gaining (recent tour dates and just word of mouth?) but that's a good thing. Her SNL performance in a couple weeks should keep the ball rolling, too.

Can't be surprised by numbers for hits compilations in the last couple of years- they've taken a big hit. Covers albums, it depends- Rod Stewart's opened higher than Neil Diamond's- but, he's had more overall album sales success, too.

How many albums and "refills" is he planning to release? I have recently learned that he recorded so many songs. So a re-fill in 2010 and another album in 2011 is possible, dude spends 5 days a week in the studio!

i really dont think that is what's driving him. LOL I bet that he doesn't even know how much his album sold so far. He didn't know when "The Eminem Show" was being released so he probably doesn't care about sales! He's covering the Rolling Stone so you should read what the interviewer said about the interview.

I have not heard that Chopped. I wouldn't mind if it's true thats for sure. He doesnt need it though for the album to end the year #1.
