And I think that Taylor Swift won't be able to top Lady Antebellum for the #2 spot. Which is not important anyway. Top3 will be enough for her for another record.

Soon we will have Bestselling Albums Of Billboard Calendar Year, ended 14. nov. Will be published 9 dec. Experts say it is a pretty close race between SuBo and Taylor. I really don't care if Eminem, Swift, LA, or anyone else gets the #1 selling album of the year. Just stating the facts (I love numbers). My take. 1. Eminem. 2. Antebellum 3. Swift

I love how Florence keeps peeking her head in the Top 50 every now and then :)

slicknick was clearly joking and it seem most of you have fallen for it. Glad someone caught on. LOL. He can hold a melody. He can't sing. Luckily he hasn't resorted to much auto-tune. He used it on "My Mom" on Relapse as sort of a joke and that was it. Shit. We can never tell whether its serious or not when its coming from you.

I love how Florence keeps peeking her head in the Top 50 every now and then :) its because people are loving their music and its connecting well, but getting people to hear it is tough. after the vmas it shot in and fell out. same thing happened with dancing with the stars and glee

Speak Now won't top in 2010, it'll easily become the best selling album released in 2010.

Yikes for Kanye...though I guess after tons of hype over the release week, drop-off from Black Friday and no current single, it makes sense. Hopefully AOTL can help it stabilize after the Holidays.
Sad to see M&S out of the top 50 for first time since July. Hopefully their new EP/iTunes discount can help them this week.

I cannot believe Tim McGraw has another GH album.
He was against the last one so Tim puts out another one?

The new one, if you want to get it will give you 2 new songs, otherwise it is simply a "best of" the first three volumes

On iTunes today. It's a collaboration with folk artist Laura Marling and Indian group Dharohar Project. Interesting blend of M&S/Laura's folk style w/ eastern styles. 4 songs.

Wonder if Annie Lennox will get a new peak on the Billboard 200- it debuted at 46 before dropping (not that it matters too much if it's outside the top 40).
Jackie E.'s release sold more than projected, as did the Glee Christmas album and even BEP (still disappointing for BEP, though).
Overall album sales may drop again week ending 12/12, before increasing week ending 12/19 and then 12/26. Holiday albums overall may see their peak for week ending 12/12 (if they haven't already). Mimi's could see a pre-Christmas week boost because of the ABC special (which doesn't even need great ratings to see a decent sales boost). But, that should be its peak (if it doesn't peak before that).

"Holding steady" usually indicates that a title saw sales similar to its debut week. Not saying Burlesque didn't hold up well, percentage-wise in its second week, but it didn't"hold steady."
