No Flo Rida in the top 50, right? So wherever he is, he sold fewer copies than 24k. That guy is NOT an album artist at all....

His album debuted last week, below the top 100, so, nope, no sign of it in the top 50.

Recovery went up +12%. So it just proves what i have said for the last two months. Recover has it locked up. Why do you say this every week? Its pretty clear that Recovery will be the best selling album of 2010 so there is no need to remind us every week.

slicknick has every right to gloat. there were many doubters at the time. Yeah...and let him because towards the end of an era you want to get your last ones in...it's gonna suck between eras I'm sure. That's always the most anxious time.

I just noticed Kid Rock lingering around the top 10-I didn't even entirely realize he had a current cd.

slicknick has every right to gloat. there were many doubters at the time. There were no doubters. There was a discussion of the possibility of Taylor breaking the 3 million mark before the end of the year and taking the #1 spot. Considering she'll end the year with 2.8-3 million in just 8 weeks, I fail to see how this was such a ridiculous discussion. No one said Taylor had it "locked" but as usual, slicknick takes the obvious and interprets it as his opinion.

Recovery went up +12%. So it just proves what i have said for the last two months. Recover has it locked up. Yeah, it was really such a stretch for you. At this point Recovery will be, but it's such an irrelevant title. News articles rarely say "x album was top selling in 2010" compared to "x album sold x million copies." There's no reason to believe Speak Now will do less than what it did this week in the next two weeks until Christmas. It's sitting at 2.3+ million right now and should easily be 2.7+ million by the end of 2010. It'll pass Recovery in the long run, so I don't quite understand this hyped argument that's been going on the past few months.

It's not a hyped argument. It was a discussion that began just a few weeks ago, after Taylor scored the million first week. This is a chart forum, and there was a chance it could happen, so we discussed it.
The only person that took it as "something" was slicknick, for no reason other than Eminem was involved.

With such soft album sales so close to Christmas, I wonder if many shoppers are resorting to the iTunes gift cards for youngsters. In which case, Swift could see a large sales total for the last week of the year.

Where is Ke$ha?? She has two versions charting, right? So I'd imagine she's likely doing around the 30k zone combined.

From the UK midweeks, it says she had a 150% increase, and she sold around 90k last week, so, you do the math. No it doesn't. Like I said earlier, someone on UK Mix started that rumour. There are no numbers out this week yet. Unless you'd like to provide a link?

T.I. 3s are very decent, considering he hasn't had a big hit in years. Congrats to him. The Boyle Monster almost scared me for a second. Lol. Keep it up!

There are no numbers out this week yet. Unless you'd like to provide a link? I'm pretty sure the original poster is reliable and has provided accurate information before. That being said, just because it has a 150% increase that one day post-xfactor doesn't mean it's applied throughout the week. She did 90k last week with no promotional bumps? So she did 13k/day. This week's prediction day would be about 33k, which is perfectly reasonable coming off X factor. For the UK, I see her coming in around 120k rather than that outrageous 200k+ number someone suggested. Regardless, a fantastic number to pull there. She's doing really well over there.
