I know it's a little early for predictions, but I just thought I'd start this up because of one of the entries in HDD's Rumor Mill:
CROSSOVER MOVE: Following his GMA meltdown yesterday, Chris Brown opted for a time-honored method of stress relief—he played some hoops. Brown hit the typically crowded West 4th St. courts on Sixth Ave. in the Village for a pick-up game but couldn’t escape scrutiny—he was heckled by bystanders, according to the N.Y. Daily News. Wonder if he could take GMA anchor—and former basketball star at Southeastern Louisiana—in a game of one-on-one? By the way, the NYPD was not called to the GMA set yesterday, contrary to earlier reports, and it remains to be seen whether Brown’s scheduled performance nest week on ABC’s Dancing With the Stars will go on as scheduled. But there's little question about next week's projected #1 album; it's Brown's new Jive/JLG release F.A.M.E. (3/23a)

I think Jennifer Hudson will get the #1. She's promoting this whole week and she's gonna be on American Idol tommorrow.

Jhud's American Idol appearance should do wonders for her sales. Hopefully her numbers aren't far off from Chris' and she pulls through on top with the promo she has planned.

The rumor mill is usually a bit less accurate than the actual predictions that roll out. They have had incorrect or off predictions before in early rumor mill updates. Not saying he won't be #1, but I think we will get a much better picture when they have the actual numbers update that they always do.

IT’S A BROWN OUT Chris Brown Will Bow at #1 with 250-275k; Jennifer Hudson, The Strokes Up Next
March 23, 2011
Barry Weiss certainly didn’t leave the cupboard bare at Jive/RCA when he split for UMG.
The label group will have the top four debuts on next week’s chart, with Jive/JLG’s Chris Brown album, F.A.M.E., leading the way, boasting a total of in the 250-275k range. That would make it the second-largest of the year after Adele’s 351k. If you didn’t know, the acronym stands for “Forgive All My Enemies.” Nice.
19/J/RMG’s Jennifer Hudson sophomore album, I Remember Me, bows this week with 150-175k in sales, which is about what she dropped in weight.
RCA/RMG’s The Strokes album, Angles, their first in four years, will do in the 85-100k range, good for a #3 debut.
Gospocentric/JLG’s Kirk Franklin rounds out Jive/RCA’s impressive week with a #4 debut for Hello Fear, his first new studio effort in four years, which will debut with between 80-95k. Adele’s album, down only about 10-15%, will give Sony Music a clean sweep of the Top 5.
Decaydance/FBR/Atlantic’s Panic at the Disco is next up with a target of 55-65k for Vices & Virtues, their third album.
Capitol/EMI R&B singer Bobby V’s fourth album, Fly on the Wall, should do between 30-45k.
Yellowcard’s indie debut on Hopeless, When You’re Through Thiking, Say Yes, their first since 2007’s Paper Walls, is looking at between 25-30k, the same amount as Reprise’s Green Day live CD/DVD, the gloriously titled Awesome as f**k.
Warner Bros. rapper Gucci Mane’s The Return of Mr. Zone 6, should bow with between 20-25k in first-week sales. For the fifth week in a row, album sales beat the corresponding week from last year. The market was down 8% vs. last week, up 1% vs. same week last year and now down 6% year to date. Next week, the chart will go up against Justin Bieber's My World 2.0, which opened one year ago with 283k.

Wow, Chris Brown has a 100K lead over Hudson. I didn't expect that but it would be expected due to Brown's exposure on the radio these past few months. He worked for those numbers (putting aside his personal issues); he definitely deserved experiencing this success of his. Great numbers for Hudson too. I'd hope she can maintain some stability with this album.

LMAO at people actually thinking J-Hud would come out on top with no hit in sight and Chris songs all over radio and the media.

Congrats to Chris Brown on another #1 album, even though I'm not a fan of his.
Also wow at Yellowcard's sales with their new indie album. I was not expecting that. Their last album debuted with 40k so this isn't that large of a drop off.

I wouldn't be suprised if he is #1. Forgetting what he has done, the singles released hit a broader audience than Jennifer's stuff.

At least his fans can stop screaming about how "we just want to keep him down and ruin his entire career"-obviously, not that many people care if he beats women or not.
