I think it's the perfect time for Bee to release a "Hits" compilation. I also was thinking about it the other day while listening to DC, that there IS a good chance they will want to get the group back together. Think about it, they're going to be reunited for Bee's baby shower and everything else. Celebrating it and reminiscing on how far they have come, it could happen. I mean, it's not like a guarantee, but it's possible. I really would love a DC comeback album. However, Beyonce solo is amazing too. It really just doesn't matter to me. As long as I get my Bee fix somehow. The DC songs are all Beyonce feat. Kelly (Michelle on background vocals) anyway. I honestly don't see Beyonce putting out another record for 3-5 years though. I think she will raise her child and make that a priority over her music.

This era is messy. Very annoyed. I can definitely understand that... Me personally I like seeing so many of the songs get shine. It kind of showcases more the album to the public, but in a more unconventional way for today's standards. 1+1 performance and video End Of Time performance Countdown commercial Party released to radio The era might not be as organized or as set-up as her others have been but for some reason I've enjoyed following this one more than any of the others.

She seriously needs a manager pronto.

I can't believe Beyonce saved a song this good as the third single. I was initially dismissive of her album after hearing the first two singles, but with a song as joyous as this, it's making me think there just may be another gem or two on 4.

I really love this song. I only heard BTINH, RTW and 1+1, and I think this is the best out of those all. Love the VMAs perf. ![](http://yoursmiles.org/ssmile/fun/s0270.gif)

They should just promote this, at least at urban/urban AC. And maybe focus on another track for pop/rhythmic.

I'm not expecting anything left for this era. TBH, I'm just happy she released this album. I have been playing this nonstop ever since the VMAs. It gave me a new found love and respect for her. But this era is just done imo. She'll make an appearance here and there, but now she's pregnant, her priorities have shifted.

This song may do well. Alot of people like it, and it's one of their favorites. I don't think that this era is done. She can still release songs, she's already done videos for certain singles as well.

Great song - wrong single, the hype won't last long enough to give it a big enough push - inconsistent era... really great album, but as somebody's already said, they clearly have no idea what to do with the album promotion-wise. RTW and BTINH just couldn't have been more different. Variety is great, but to that extent, they're sending out a very mixed message.
EOT and Party need to get out there - I'm not convinced I would have even bothered with BTINH to be honest.

Wow the song is doing so well. LOT was one of my favorite tracks when the album came out but I can't listen to the whole song now. It gives me a headache.

They need to just release "I Was Here" and end the era on that note.
This is good, but sounds a tad dated for radio right now.

I hadn't listened to this before the VMAs, but I like it a lot. :) Better than "Best Thing I Never Had" and miles better than "Run The World (Girls)," in my opinion. I'm not sure how it would do as a single, but I'd be interested to see if it'd do well--maybe it would pave the way for more "throwback"-sounding singles. *mutters something about Maroon 5's "I Can't Lie" ![](http://i.imgur.com/2smy76v.gif) *

That is what I was asking and I wasn't sure why this was still open unless it is already official.

It was moved to album tracks by a moderator the other day and then moved back here later that day with no real confirmation of it being a single.

Her label has lost their mind for not releasing "Countdown" yet. I know they wanted it first, but damn...it's THE HIT on the record, and anything that followed would probably do well because it's so big. This will kill it.
Did anyone see Village Voice's write-up on the track from NPR's blog? I mean, didn't Kelly even say it was the next Pop single and she was in the video?

Yeah Countdown has alot of potential. But I dont really see them pushing this album much more with her being pregnant and all.
She didnt really have much momentum going into the third single because of the so-so performance of BTINH to begin with.
So I say they dont really have much to lose at this point. The VMA performance built alot of much needed hype into this album, and this song was apart of that. So I say why not...

She did not lip at the Billboard Awards. lol yes she did ... adlibs & all. it wasnt as obvious as chris brown or britney b/c she didnt re-use the cd version of RTW, it was prerecorded & you can tell in the beginning

She was singing in parts and just let the track play in others.
I just re-watched the performance, and it is very, very, VERY obvious that she is not lipping. You can hear breathing, you can hear the effect of hard dancing on her voice, and it's just completely obvious that it's live. You have no idea what you're talking about.

She wasn't even moving her mouth in the beginning. The track was just playing... She was singing in parts and just let the track play in others. oh ok well maybe so but then that's even worse ... & the track playing was a live prerecorded version so it was intended to deceive some people i'm still not even sure about the parts where she was supposedly 'singing' into the mic: "what do weeee ruuuunn? what dooo weee runnnn?" later in the performance

www.youtube.com/watch?v=qkqUTY3G13M1:35 even the adlibs and shouts that were "meant" to sound live were not even live, b/c she missed her cue there a couple time & the entire first verse is obvious that she wasnt singing there also 2:51: she missed the cue to mouth that part also 3:06: just look at how obvious it is there ... besides it blatantly sounding like a recording, the way she covers her mouth makes it even more obvious b/c that is lipsyncing 101 & she never does that in any of her other live performances fyi i'm not bashing her b/c it was undeniably a hot performance, i'm just saying it was not live ......

^ Omg did you really scour that performance looking for moments where she wasn't singing? ![](http://i40.tinypic.com/2rgkp60.jpg) The only part where you have a point is the 3 minute mark but even so, the fact still remains that she she sung some parts and let the track play in others and really, what's the problem with that? ??? Pretty much every popstar does that. You can clearly hear her live a couple times during the performance, but that's not even what it was about.
