I like EOT, but I still think its massively overrated. I don't see it being a big hit either.
I still think the big hit on the album is Party. They need to get it together and just release that already. lol It should've been the lead single.

The big thing this has over EOT is the fact that it is just undeniable. I haven't heard one person say they don't like the song, but radio programmers work differently than the general public so... Over here. I don't like it. ![8-)](//storage.proboards.com/forum/images/smiley/cool.png)

Party is garbage. ![:-x](http://images.proboards.com/lipsrsealed.gif) I would have done: 1. Countdown 2. Best Thing I Never Had 3. End Of Time 4. Love On Top 5. Run The World (Girls)

I still think "Love on Top" is going to shock all of you. The reaction to it after her performance was just outstanding.
Who in the world said this had no pop appeal? Insane. This has more pop appeal than "Single Ladies."

This has more pop appeal than "Single Ladies." You really think so? Single Ladies was just a Urban leaning Pop song. This is a straight up R&B throwback record. I could see this doing really well on Urban, but I highly doubt Pop or even Rhythmic will touch this. I would love to be wrong though. Oh yeah, and I REALLY hope they arent going with this for the next international single. ![:-x](http://images.proboards.com/lipsrsealed.gif)

Just had a listen to this and woah what a great track! An excellent throwback to the 80s R&B. Very smooth with top vocals by Queen B. I love it! Hit or not, I'm liking it that B is not following the electronic music trend.

I don't think she has a real smash on the album at all. I don't think the "ifs" matter at all. I think she has some SERIOUS quality songs on the album--amongst her best and my all-time favorites from her--but nothing is a huge hit. Not End of Time, not Party, not this. She could still squeak out a moderate hit on Pop, but those looking for her next "Irreplaceable" or "Single Ladies" need to look to her next era, not this one.

I must be the only one who doesn't like this.
I personally think her best shot at a hit this era would be between "Countdown", "End of Time", or "I Was Here".

I love how this song sounds straight out of the late 80's/early 90's. I think Beyonce' should do more songs like this.
I honestly could see this doing well on pop, especially after the VMA performance, and it will definitely smash on R&B.

"Party" is not garbage. Only Kanye's vocal on that track is garbage.

"Party" is not garbage. Only Kanye's vocal on that track is garbage. His part is the only part of the song that's worth remembering. Everything else about the song is just a stale worn out R&B sound that no one wants to hear. Without Kanye's rap no one would even care.

Most non-Beyoncé fans I know seems to like it, too. It's not single material though... At least not yet. It will be a good album closer.

Pop yes...Urban it's already top 40 and no adds date. End of time and Countdown are the only two songs left that have the chance to be solid pop hits. LOT will no cut it on pop, Vma hype or not. It's a great song, but it's not a pop hit :'(

Does this even have an adds date? I haven't heard anything about this as a single since the few days after the VMAs. As much as I enjoy this and would love for it to impact pop radio, I just don't see it. I think she should've had "Countdown" ready to go for CHR the minute BTIN started its decline.

^^^Thats what I dont get. BTHIH has been on the decline since the beginning of August. Its ridiculous that Pop hasnt gotten ANYTHING since then. And now that there is an adds date, its for a song that is even less mainstream than the first two singles. There is clearly something wrong behind the scenes with her management. If she really is managing herself now, she seriously needs to hire a professional who knows how to do it right.

#41 on Hot Digital Songs this week. It's #55 on iTunes right now, this is holding up nicely.

If she really is managing herself now, she seriously needs to hire a professional who knows how to do it right. Yeah. It seems a bit weird that she didn't have one of her most pop-friendly tracks ready to capitalize on the post-VMA love given she has a pregnancy ahead of her. This kind of doesn't bode well for the remainder of this era. The VMA performance may have been the last chance to give the album a strong push. ![:-/](//storage.proboards.com/forum/images/smiley/undecided.png)

I agree with all of you who said this is a nice track, but not pop material :(, however if this becomes a hit, I won't mind ![](http://yoursmiles.org/ssmile/fun/s0244.gif)
