I absolutely love this song and I'm glad they're choosing to go forward w/ this as a single. There were other songs on the album that were a more logical choice, from a commercial standpoint, but at this stage in her career, I think she's entitled to release something that's not always a sure thing or a safe bet.

^ So true what you said about the risks. She keeps ignoring Countdown, which is the most commercial song in the album IMO.
I'm so happy they have placed their bets on LOT for this autumn! Epic song.

"Love on Top" is one of the best songs from 4; so glad that Beyoncé is releasing it.
As much as I would have liked to see "End of time" or "Countdown" as the next pop single, I just can't see how she'll make the video for those or how she'll perform them with her pregnancy. LOT makes the most logical sense right now.

I hope this is a smash. This does have that multi format appeal. It's a feel good song.

Idk why they are releasing this to Pop. Its going to completely bury the chances of them jumping on any of the more mainstream friendly songs (Countdown, End Of Time) later.
Huge mistake.

I don't get how EOT is more radio friendly than this. ![:-/](//storage.proboards.com/forum/images/smiley/undecided.png)

EOT & Countdown need to be release. LOP won't do well on Pop regardless if it had a great digital start. Those two need to be released next, or they might as well rap the era up(for pop anyways).

EVEN if you don't like LOT, you HAVE to respect the 3 key changes. She absolutely slays them effortlessly. She is amazing!

I hope this is a smash. This does have that multi format appeal. It's a feel good song. I wouldn't be surprised if it goes like this RTW top 30 BTINH top 20 LOT top 10 Countdown/Party/EOT one of those going top 5. The singles might peak better and better with each release.

EOT and Countdown are overrated. Give LOT a chance.

I don't get how EOT is more radio friendly than this. ![:-/](//storage.proboards.com/forum/images/smiley/undecided.png) That has a much more universal sound that mainstream radio would love and is infectious in a commercial way. (That sounds a mess I know but idk how else to describe it ![:-x](http://images.proboards.com/lipsrsealed.gif) ) Granted, this is also infectious just in a different way. I love it more than EOT now but I wouldn't be that surprised if this didn't get traction on pop radio....but on the plus, radio has been shying away from the typical stuff with Adele and "You & I" becoming big so maybe this can play off those in a sense. The big thing this has over EOT is the fact that it is just undeniable. I haven't heard one person say they don't like the song, but radio programmers work differently than the general public so...
