I find it pretty sad that the song is accompanied by a joke video to be honest. It just shows that men and women are not equal in that sense. But then again, if the guys of LMFAO were more traditionally handsome the video might be different.. It's hard for girls though, you need to be smashingly beautiful or hugely talented to even get a record contract so in that sense it's only good that men don't have to be. Wish it was the same for women. Which male stars are ugly AND untalented? Both genders usually need at least one of those things... If you consider LMFAO both, they get around it by being a novelty act.

There is enuff girls I'm sure who find them attractive and endearing and guys who don't care they these guys look like at all. LFMAO! will be just fine.

Hmm I was wrong because to be honest, in pop music you have to be either very talented or very beautiful.
But that men vs. women still applies on rock I think as the industry is male-driven.
Gender and sexuality matters a lot.. I was compiling an article about boybands and the attitude towards them clearly shows that (straight) men don't dare to like them publicly.
It took almost 20 years for Take That to be ok to like. Now people are like "wow their album is very good".
Whilst girl bands get more praise by critics just because they're women and it's ok to like them and say it's because of their looks. Also, girl bands are allowed to be openly superficial.
And NOBODY who has passed the teenage years likes a band only because they look good. It might be a factor, yes, but for adults there must be something else too.
Just my thoughts.
