I love your personal charts, Josh :) That second set #25-#16 is almost flawless. Lily Allen is one of my favorites over the last few years. I think she's had 9 or 10 top 5 songs on my own chart. I am so glad she's back again! Also, where the hell is Bubble Butt? It better have made your top ten!

Well if you haven't seen it yet you know it made at least top 15! :) I haven't seen Diamonds or Blurred Lines or Roar yet, so are they top 15? :O "Blurred Lines" only made my mock top 50, not the actual chart. "Roar" was #182. "Diamonds" didn't chart.

Songs 15-11 | | Justin Timberlake feat. Jay-Z "Suit & Tie" (from The 20/20 Experience ) 2013 Peak: 3 | 2013 Weeks on chart: 23 | 2013 Points: 17201.9 | 2013 Certification (Overall Certification): 4x Platinum 2013 Chart run: 3-6-9-16-19-14-12-9-7-5-7-7-12-17-22-21-19-17-17-17-28-27-32 I don’t completely remember my initial thoughts on this, but I was definitely disappointed that it wasn’t a dance song. I really love it, though. It’s just so much fun and so catchy and such a jam. By far the best single of the era, and probably the 2nd best song of the era overall. Could do without Jay-Z, but nothing new there lol. | | | Of Monsters and Men "Mountain Sound" (from My Head Is an Animal ) 2013 Peak: 4 | 2013 Weeks on chart: 23 | 2013 Points: 17531.3 | 2013 Certification (Overall Certification): 4x Platinum 2013 Chart run: 15-11-10-9-6-6-6-5-4-4-4-5-7-11-16-29-28-33-32-33-37-41-48 Great song. Not my favorite of theirs, and the two remaining songs are in this section. Weird. Not a whole lot to say about this, other than it’s great and pretty much a standard song off the album. Had a weird chart run due to circumstances explained below. | | | Of Monsters and Men "Dirty Paws" (from My Head Is an Animal ) 2013 Peak: 2 | 2013 Weeks on chart: 17 | 2013 Points: 17583.3 | 2013 Certification (Overall Certification): 4x Platinum 2013 Chart run: 39-39-OFF(28)-18-17-14-10-9-7-6-5-5-4-3-2-2-2-2 This one has really grown on me. It initially charted for 2 weeks at #39 (when it was a top 40) when I fell in love with Of Monsters and Men. It then fell off until it got pushed in the US. I forgot it had been an international single otherwise I would have re-entered it once their previous singles finished on my chart. Oh well. Anyways, I fell in love with “Little Talks” and then charted their 3 other singles all at once. Gave “King and Lionheart” a much lower chart run than it deserved, and affected “Mountain Sound” a bit too. Didn’t affect this, really. Love it. | | | Major Lazer feat. Bruno Mars, Tyga, and Mystic "Bubble Butt" (from Free the Universe ) 2013 Peak: 1 [ 2 weeks] | 2013 Weeks on chart: 24 | 2013 Points: 17615 | 2013 Certification (Overall Certification): 4x Platinum 2013 Chart run: 10-4-3-2-1-1-3-4-7-8-10-15-20-28-28-32-35-45-47-46-47-50-47-45 THIS IS SO GOOD. MY JAM. Everyone hates it but(t) me, pretty much. Typical. It’s just such a good, fun jam, though. Crazy production, love Bruno on the chorus, although he sounds different than normal. Love Mystic on the verses and her accent. I have no clue what she says for the most part, though. I even like Tyga’s verse! Just a great song all around, and one of the best videos of the year. And I’m gay. Seriously, I’ve watched that video more than any other this year. | | | Of Monsters and Men "Little Talks" (from My Head Is an Animal ) 2013 Peak: 1 [5 weeks] | 2013 Weeks on chart: 17 | 2013 Points: 18204.75 | 2013 Certification (Overall Certification): 4x Platinum (6x Platinum) 2013 Chart run: 1-1-1-2-2-1-1-2-3-4-5-8-13-18-24-29-35 Such a great song. It held the record for most weeks at #1 until “Come & Get It” happened, with 5 weeks at #1. It would be higher if I included 2012 points, but alas. #11 is not bad! One of my most successful songs so far, and well deserving. It deserved more on pop, though. |

Albums 10-8 | | P!nk The Truth About Love Total 2013 Points: 36610.05 2013 Songs Charted:- “Just Give Me a Reason”
- “Slut Like You”
- “True Love”
- “Try”
- “Walk of Shame”
Never been huge on this album, but it’s got some great singles and songs! Its biggest help comes from “True Love,” which hit #1 for 4 weeks this year. “Slut Like You” also saw big success, but most of that was in 2012. It also had more success with “Try,” “Just Give Me a Reason,” and “Walk of Shame.” Overall a nice album but nothing I’m too crazy over. | | | Ellie Goulding Halcyon Days Total 2013 Points: 38093.9 2013 Songs Charted:- “Burn”
- “Figure 8”
- “How Long Will I Love You”
- “I Need Your Love”
Ok well this one got its most points from “Figure 8,” which has yet to show up on the countdown. See it later for more commentary. It also has success from me including “I Need Your Love” in it, which like I said before is placed too high for my tastes. “Burn” didn’t do too well, and “How Long Will I Love You” has only charted a few weeks, but they gave it some extra points. Again, not an album I play much besides the singles. Look for one song to appear in the album tracks, though. | | | Bruno Mars Unorthodox Jukebox Total 2013 Points: 39982.7 2013 Songs Charted:- “Gorilla”
- “Locked Out of Heaven”
- “Moonshine”
- “Natalie”
- “Treasure”
- “When I Was Your Man”
- “Young Girls”
This is my jam. I love this album. My favorite is most definitely “Natalie,” which hit #1 in 2012. It got him some points as it dropped due to no more album tracks, but nothing too significant. “Treasure” was the most successful from the album, placing at #17 on the year-end songs. He also saw minor points from “Moonshine” as an album track falling off, decent points from “Gorilla,” “Locked Out of Heaven,” “When I Was Your Man,” and “Young Girls,” the latter of which is just getting started. |

Artists 15-11 | | P!nk Total 2013 Points: 36610.05 2013 Songs Charted:- Just Give Me a Reason
- Slut Like You
- True Love
- Try
- Walk of Shame
She didn’t chart anything besides from her album so see that above for commentary! | | | Foxes Total 2013 Points: 36748.9 2013 Songs Charted:- Clarity (100%)
- Right Here (100%)
She only charted as a featured artist, however she gave the only vocals on both songs, so I gave her 100% of the points for both songs. The songs are “Clarity” and “Right Here” by Rudimental. “Clarity” has yet to appear so you can see thoughts on that later, and “Right Here” made #58 on the year-end songs. I’m not a huge fan of her voice, but it’s nothing I hate, and the productions of the songs were catchy. | | | Ellie Goulding Total 2013 Points: 38093.9 2013 Songs Charted:- Burn
- Figure 8
- How Long Will I Love You
- I Need Your Love (100%)
Just like P!nk, she only charted the songs off her album so see its commentary above. | | | One Direction Total 2013 Points: 38281.5 2013 Songs Charted:- Best Song Ever
- Diana
- Heart Attack
- Kiss You
- Little Things
- Midnight Memories
- One Way or Another (Teenage Kicks)
- Story of My Life
- Strong
- Summer Love
They charted the 2nd most songs this year, trailing only Nicki Minaj. However, they were lead on all of them, and also had no features, so it’s pretty impressive. 2 of the songs (“Summer Love” and “Heart Attack”) were only album tracks, falling off very early on due to the rule change. They also had “Strong,” “Diana,” and “Midnight Memories” chart as promo singles, although the latter is apparently their next single so should re-enter later. They also had official singles in “Little Things,” “Kiss You,” “One Way or Another (Teenage Kicks),” “Best Song Ever,” and “Story of My Life.” I think that’s all their songs. “Kiss You” performed best, followed by “Best Song Ever.” “Summer Love” peaked at #2 in 2012 for several weeks and is one of my favorite songs of theirs. So good. “Story of My Life” is also not nearly finished charting. Their new album isn't exactly my favorite so it should be interesting to see how they chart this year. | | | Nicki Minaj Total 2013 Points: 41019.075 2013 Songs Charted:- #Twerkit (Remix) (100%)
- Beauty and a Beat (50%)
- Freaks (100%)
- Freedom
- Get Like Me (100%)
- Girl On Fire (Inferno Version) (25%)
- High School
- I Endorse These Strippers
- I’m Legit
- I’m Out (50%)
- Love More (100%)
- Tonight I’m Getting Over You (25%) (5/26)
- Va Va Voom
As I mentioned above, Nicki has the most charting songs this year. Only 5 of them are lead songs, though, and of those only 2 (“Freedom” and “Va Va Voom”) are solo. The other 3 are “High School” and 2 album tracks that fell off quickly due to charting rule changes, “I Endorse These Strippers” and “I’m Legit.” Her features include 1 week of “Tonight I’m Getting Over You” when it was remixed, “Love More,” “I’m Out,” “Girl On Fire (Inferno Version),” “Get Like Me,” “Freaks,” “Beauty and a Beat,” and “#Twerkit (Remix).” She usually kills her features so got 100% of the points from “#Twerkit (Remix),” “Freaks,” “Get Like Me,” and “Love More.” Features definitely helped get her this high, because “High School” was her highest lead song, only making #112 year-end. “Freaks” was her highest feature, making #38. “Va Va Voom” only made #193, but it charted very poorly for how I feel about the song, even including 2012’s chart run. Overall she feels a bit high due to lack of lead success, but she did kill on features so oh well. Hopefully we get a new album this year. |

Josh's Top Album Tracks (part 3) Just a reminder that these are in a (mostly) random order.[2]"A Little Party Never Killed Nobody (All We Got)" by Fergie from The Great Gatsby SoundtrackSo this wasn’t really a single, so I never charted it. It’s definitely grown on my over a long period of time. At first I didn’t like it at all. Fergie’s voice sounds so different. And then in the video she looked so different. Her face looks so weird, but I realized that it was just more full due to being pregnant. Side note - so excited for her new album!!!!1! Anyways, this is a pretty good song. Nice combination of dance and some other genres. It’s nice to listen to, and the rap verse is decent. "Mary Jane Holland" by Lady Gaga from ARTPOPMadeon’s 2nd song from the album. Can’t believe he only got 2. That’s only 1 more than will.i.am. Anyways, this is a great song. Great production, and it definitely stands out from the rest of the song. The theatrical vocals on the bridge are quite amazing. I had the snippet of this on repeat when it was released. My only complaint is that it’s sometimes hard to hear Gaga or distinctly what she is saying because the production is a little too loud, but not too big of a complaint. "Million Dollar Bills" by Lorde from The Love ClubI love the “oh”s throughout this song. I said that yesterday too lol. Just like the other songs I put in the album tracks so far, I love the vocal harmonies and effects. Other than that, not much to say, really, besides that it’s great. "Partition" by Beyoncé from BEYONCÉAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH. My favorite song off the album by far. I think I like the “Yoncé” part better than the actual “Partition,” but both are amazing. It’s such an amazing jam and I love that radio is playing it somewhat in addition to “Drunk In Love.” Oh, and the “Partition” video SLAYS LIVES. Beyoncé looks fierce as f**k. The video for “Yoncé” would benefit from more Beyoncé in it, but oh well. "Strawberry Bubblegum" by Justin Timberlake from The 20/20 ExperienceI debated including this song, but it put me up to an even 35 songs to spread over 5 days. And now I have an extra song so oops. Not to say it’s a bad song, it’s just probably my least favorite of all of the other songs. I really like the “mellow” (get it?) vibe of this song. It’s just so laidback and that makes it quite enjoyable for me. Ok, maybe it definitely does deserve to be on this list. One other song from the album will make this list. You should be able to guess which one. "Swine" by Lady Gaga from ARTPOPThe song that DJWS stole from Zedd. This song is definitely the most club-ready from the album. Which is a plus. It’s fun and great and clearly about Perez. I love the noise effects at ~1:23, although sometimes it hurts my ears lol. A nice song, but definitely not my favorite from the album. "You’ll Never Know" by Ariana Grande from Yours TrulyWhen they premiered this song on Rolling Stones’ website or whatever, I literally had my wig snatched. Literally. I was already loving “The Way,” but this song sealed my fate as an Ariana stan. Such a perfect song, so catchy, the vocals, the production. Would be a perfect single, imo. I feel like I say that for all her songs lol.

Awesome to see "Suit & Tie" and "Bubble Butt" on there with just about all of the Of Monsters & Men songs! Tried doing this without the spoiler but couldn't think of the tenth song (*wow at ATWH :O was not expecting that*) 10. All The Way Home 9. Q.U.E.E.N. 8. Atlas 7. Applause 6. The One 5. Clarity 4. Figure 8 3. Love And War 2. Slow Down 1. Come & Get It
You only listed nine songs you flop, but I'm pretty sure QUEEN hasn't been used yet.
7. Clarity 6. ARTPOP 5. Yours Truly 4. The Heist 3. Love And War 2. My Head Is An Animal 1. Stars Dance
10. Bruno Mars 9. Kendrick Lamar 8. Zedd 7. Lady Gaga 6. Ke$ha 5. Ariana Grande 4. Macklemore & Ryan Lewis 3. Tamar Braxton 2. Of Monsters And Men 1. Selena Gomez
I think OMAM and Selena will be really close on the last two fronts.

The Of Monsters of Men tracks, especially "Little Talks", and "Suit & Tie" save this batch So good to see The Truth About Love and Halcyon Days there, as well as P!nk, Foxes and Ellie Goulding and the mentions to "Mary Jane Holland" and "Swine", the song that seems to have produced Zedd instead of DJ White Shadow.
{Predictions} Songs: 1. "Come & Get It" 2. "Clarity" 3. "Slow Down" 4. "Love and War" 5. "Figure 8" 6. "The One" 7. "Applause" 8. "Q.U.E.E.N." 9. "All the Way Home" 10. "Atlas"
Artists: 1. Selena Gomez 2. Zedd 3. Tamar Braxton 4. Lady Gaga 5. Of Monsters and Men 6. Ariana Grande 7. Ke$ha 8. Macklemore & Ryan Lewis 9. Bruno Mars 10. Kendrick Lamar
Albums: 1. Stars Dance 2. ARTPOP 3. Clarity 4. Love and War 5. My Head Is an Animal 6. Yours Truly 7. The Heist
