I may be wrong, but doesn't seem like Taylor will get that many debuts on the next Hot 100. Just basing this on the Itunes positions. Agree or disagree?

You know what's interesting, if the chart rules hadn't changed, right now only 3 tracks would look to be in position to chart. As they did change, might be more like 1-2.

Obviously part of that is the huge album release, but also big is that for Speak Now, the general public wasn't all that into the pre-album releases. On iTunes the first few days after Speak Now was released, none of them was even in the T30. This time, there are 3 already-released Taylor songs still in the Top TEN which are sucking away most of the track sales. Which is fine since Trouble & Red are CLEARLY destined to be singles. Also, it'll be more exciting when Taylor gets new entries upon releasing future singles.

When the entirety of Speak Now charted on the Hot 100, she was incapable of adding to her charters with the album until a year later when the bonus tracks were released. It was nice when for her first album singles had to climb into the T40 instead of being instantaneous so there was more time to anticipate new T40 entries. So it looks like there *should* be songs that originally don't chart that become T40 hits - almost like she's, you know, any artist besides Taylor Swift.
