x+x, yes this is new, allowing you to get Billboard magazine digitally via e-mail subscription. I don't believe this is a replacement currently, but it is pretty certain they are testing this with the understanding that the magazine will probably be digital-only in the next two years.
If the magazine does cease to publish, I would not be surprised if there will be some sort of chart-date adjustment, so that (for example) on the conversion date, the week ending December 8th would become December 1st (A publishing week's printing lead-time would no longer be needed), and thus we will 'lose' a chart week date in the future.

11. KE$HA β Die Young: 88.949 (+ 0.571) ▲ 12. MIGUEL β Adorn: 88.908 (+ 0.304) ▼
I knew this would happen. Ke$ha jumped Miguel before he could sneak in one day in the top 10. I have a feeling he will end up peaking at #11 b/c there isn't another song besides Good Time that is relatively close and dropping. P!nk's too far away. I'm more than pleased with how this has done, but it still is a bit of a bummer when a song falls just one spot short like that.

"I Cry" was finally on the big update today, no need to be on other updates as well. :) Took it long enough, I figured it wouldn't appear until top 20 at this rate.

But their extra updates today were necessary since the main list didn't show their changes.

This isn't directly related to the Hot 100 but I figured someone might know anyway: I got an email from Billboard that the digital version of the magazine is available to be read. I've never received this before and I've had my subscription for a year and a half now. This is merely an instant-readable version and not a replacement in any way, is it? I get the digital version of Billboard instead of the print version. it is far cheaper, arrives on my iPad on the Friday and is much easier to read. I would highly recommend it.

Is Kendrick Lamar doing nothing on airplay at all?

Kendrick's "Swimming Pools" is #14 on Rhythmic and #10 on Urban, with the 3rd biggest bullet it both formats. Kworb estimates about 33 AI from Rhythmic and Urban. It's probably getting a few spins on Pop, but most likely less than 50, so less than 1 million AI there.

I don't know how digital magazines work since I've never gotten one but once it "arrives", is it always accessible? Sometimes I don't read my issue right away. Does it get replaced when the next issue comes out?

I would imagine it's a PDF or some interactive file that you download and it never gets replaced.

I got it today and if you download it, it is in some kind of html format. Looks good, but I hate that you can't actually print a page, unlike a PDF.

Got the same email from Billboard a few days ago. I'd be sad if the print edition is no longer available for some reason. I have all the editions going back about 15 years.

I guess Pound The Alarm is finished then? Disappointing it wasn't much of a hit here...

I doubt that Va Va Voom could reach top ten on Hot 100 either. This era has been a mess (excluding Starships obv) which is a shame because the album has potential.

I'm surprised they didn't release "Marilyn Monroe". That, to me, seemed like the most sure fire hit left.
SMH at "Diamonds" being over 100MM. I never expected it to go that far.
Can Gangnam sales help it squeak in to number 1 this week? Seems to have benefitted from Halloween on iTunes.

Over on the Digital Songs chart, PSY's "Gangnam Style" reigns at No. 1 for another week, selling 255,000 downloads (up 11%). Far behind at No. 2 is Bruno Mars' "Locked Out of Heaven," climbing seven slots with 161,000 (up 52%).
Ke$ha's "Die Young" is steady at No. 3 (150,000; down 4%) while Maroon 5's "One More Night" rises a slot to No. 4 (142,000; down 6%). Rihanna's "Diamonds" is up two rungs to No. 5 (122,000; up 4%) and fun.'s "Some Nights" is a non-mover at No. 6 (111,000; down 11%).
The chart's highest debut comes from Taylor Swift, who arrives at No. 7 with "22" from her "Red" album, selling 108,000. She also climbs in at No. 10 with "I Almost Do" (76,000) from the same set.
Flo Rida's "I Cry" zips up four slots to No. 8 (up 21%) and Phillip Phillips' "Home" rallies 15-9 with 85,000 (up 5%).
What a depressed chart. Only 7 songs selling 100k? November 12th's chart last year had 10. I mean, good for Taylor having 2 more T10s, but still.

Well this is going to be interesting to watch for the next couple of days...hope Miguel gets in a quick moment in the top 10. Not worried about Ke$ha, she'll be top five soon enough.

I didn't watch the digital chart before 2011, but is it normal for songs to have huge 200-300k weeks in the beginning of the year, and then barely sell anything by the end of the year?

The same song, or just the general trend of songs throughout the year?
