Wow! 8 singles? Somehow I don't see MCA promoting 8 singles.

Hey ... but if Reba wants it, MCA will give it to her. She's done so much for that company, that Reba is given a say in every aspect of her music. Maybe she's agreed to put in some of her own money for promotion? Or maybe after the standard 4 singles, they'll just release the rest and see what they do on their own? ???

I don't want them to bother releasing them if they're just going to flop around and have trouble making the Top 40. MCA has their hands full as it is trying to promote the few singles they choose from the album.

However, this gives me the fun opportunity to speculate on the next six singles. Here's what I would want:
3. It Just Has To Be This Way 4. He Gets That From Me 5. Sky Full Of Angels 6. Secret 7. Once You've Learned To Be Lonely 8. My Sister

This is what I would hope for, in no particular order:
He Gets That From Me It Just Has To Be This Way Once You've Learned To Be Lonely Secret My Sister Love Revival (I'm fairly confident this will get the nod for a single, simply because it was almost the lead-off, though I don't know how well it would do)

Reba moves from 13 to 11 with a bullet in R&R and 10 to 11 with a bullet in Billboard this week.

And on a side note, her video for this song has reached #1 on CMT's top 20 countdown. Congrats!

BTW Somebody hopped back into the Top 10 today. Doesn't Billboard get it's numbers from Sunday charts(tom. chart)?? That would be good for Reba eh?

She jumps to #9 on the Billboard chart as well. I wonder how high she can go - no one behind her is threatening to overtake her, and Gretchen Wilson & Montgomery Gentry are falling. If she can hang on 2-3 more weeks, I can see her going top 5. What a great surprise "Somebody" has turned out to be.

5th greatest gainer with a +355 AND she passed Brad & Alison (in spins). Keep it up, Reba!

Today she's the 3rd greatest gainer behind Rascal Flatts and Keith Urban with +378. She moves past Brad/Alison to #8.
I believe Gretchen and Lonestar go recurrent this week. So she could concievably move up to #6.

I'm impressed with how the song is getting a second-wind at this fairly late stage. It's been a long and sometimes bumpy ride up the charts for this song, with some scary moments where it looked finished after losing its bullet at least four times. Congratulations to Reba for this strong showing.

Wow, her gain today moves up to +459! :o She's the second greatest gainer behind Keith Urban.

This is nuts - as optimistic as I've been about this song, I didn't expect this at this point. Could she maybe even go top 3?

She's been either the second highest gainer or third highest gainer since Thursday. This is amazing... she's +412 today, only behind Keith Urban. This has gotta put her up a few notches.

As much as I'd like this -- do you see it realistically happening? I can't at all -- you've got huge singles by Tim, Kenny and soon-to-be Keith Urban that are all congesting the top 10. I believe she'll move up, and I think a top 5 is very probable... but any higher?

Although the way this song has performed thus far, I wouldn't rule it completely out.

One more strong week could put her at #3 on both charts. She probably won't get past Tim & Kenny, but I can realistically see her reach #3.

Me 2 b/c the songs ahead of her (#3-6) are falling out fast so look for Reba to move up again.

If current trends continue (and that's a big if), she'll be #3 next week.

Reba has been about +250-300 the last couple days. She moved up to #7 on R&R this week, and the next 4 slots, the artists are all falling: Toby Keith, Montgomery Gentry, David Lee Murphy, and Lonestar. So, like TCorey said, if she keeps gaining and they keep falling, she could go #3 next week (hopefully). But there's no way she'll get higher, as Kenny and Tim will reign the top of the charts between the two of them, until the middle or end of August.
Anyone have Billboard numbers for this week?
Someone please correct me if I'm wrong, but I believe Reba is among only five females to hit the top 10 this year:
Martina Sara Gretchen Terri Clark Reba
I believe this will be our female vocalist nomination lineup at the CMAs. :)
