"Love Me Back to Life" had an airplay promo at AC stations for the first day. No word on whether the label is going to bother promoting it at pop. But, the format probably isn't clamoring for new Celine Dion music, as she hasn't had a top 40 hit at the format since 2003 (and a top 20 since 2000). That, coupled with her age/being in the biz for so long, would make it a challenge, anyhow.

I can't believe it's almost been a year since Thrift Shop entered the charts. I remember around this time last year was when a friend first played it for me when we were chilling. So happy that it became such a massive hit and is showing great staying power too.

Now that "Royals" is #2 on iTunes, what do you say its odds are at going Top 5 next week?

Now that "Royals" is #2 on iTunes, what do you say its odds are at going Top 5 next week? Pretty decent. "Berzerk" and "We Can't Stop" will probably both be falling out of the top 5, allowing for "Royals" to surpass them both along with "Wake Me Up!."

Katy still doesn't even have half the airplay of Robin. She will tomorrow though. Note that it's because Robin is just so damn high, not because Katy's going too slow or something.

With all the attention focused on Katy Perry and Lady Gaga, and the buzz around new artists Lorde and Avicii, Jay-Z's "Holy Grail" is quietly developing into one of the biggest hits of 2013. It has yet to leave the top 10, reminiscent of "Starships" in 2012.

It seems "Roar" is guaranteed another week at no. 1.
I would say another two or three weeks, but you never know what kind of crazy might happen in the internet next week...

Maybe Britney will go cray cray again and then she will have a buzz worthy video that will make everyone create them too and buy her single….or maybe Lorde will take off even more.

Remember the BDS airplay gap between Robin & Katy is a lot smaller than it is on Mediabase. For this week's chart Robin had 205 million AI and Katy had 97 million AI. Katy will probably be stuck at #2 on Hot 100 Airplay for the next 2 weeks but she may be able to get #1 the following week depending how fast Robin falls.
