What I can tell you is that the music video completely contradicts the song lyrics. In the video, he's the asshole, apparently.

I think by next week at least 4 or 5 current songs will be knocked out of the top 10.

^ Rhythmic is a hard to define radio format.
While many grew up with it during the "Hip-Hop Tsunami" '00s era, it has a history of playing things Urban would never touch like the Boy Band & Britney stuff.

Holy crap...Taylor's new song is gonna sell about as much if not more than Problem did in its first week of sales and the video is already over 11 million views on YouTube in just two days...and with 10 million AI in these first two days according to Mediabase (maybe 8 million by BDS which would be 1k chart points - definitely not enough for a Hot 100 debut this week!) it has a very good chance at debuting at #1 since Stay with Me and Rude are weakening very severely at this point so it will easily be higher than those two. The only song that might pose a challenge for SIO is All About That Bass which will obviously sell much less than it this week but has a streaming and airplay advantage but I think SIO should have no problem to more than compensate for those two differences with a very large lead in sales. That would be the first legitimate #1 debut since Part of Me two and a half years ago! Would be nice! After she possibly screwed herself out of IKYWT's hitting #1 due to not making it available on Spotify.

According to Daniel Collin's thread, Katy Perry's "Birthday" sat at #97 with 4k chart points on the Hot 100 last week. SIO got 10M AI according to Mediabase, which translates into about 1k chart points. No streaming or sales points for this week. It doesn't have enough points to debut. Daniel's estimate can't be THAT far off.

Well the songs on it were old and stale so people were ready for new music to come crashing in. The problem is that music sales and thus releases aren't evenly distributed throughout the year. That's bad for business. People need to be trained to buy music year around.

Don't give too much credit to me. It's Billboard's data, I'm just doing the predictions.

That 10M AI was only based on FEW hours. Kworb has "Shake It Off" at 33M now (23M from today). A Hot 100 entry is not a question anymore.

LOL as much as I admire the work of Daniel COllins, he is correct, his charts are not official, he is offering predictions that should give a feel for what is happening but is not necessarily accurate. It had been predicted for a day now that Taylor Swift will chart this week due to airplay alone.

This would cancel a #1 debut but likely set the stage for one of those BIG jumps to #1 in week 2.
