It's really sad to see " Blank Space" losing airplay and I'm afraid it will fall lower within the next 2 weeks! What I am excited about is that now is time for " Style" to come out (February 10th) and with a possible Grammy performance and/or a music video release, " Style" will slay the charts for the whole February and even March  " Blank Space", move aside, it's time for " Style" to shine! Glad Ed is gaining and Meghan too, love "The Heartbeat Song" and hope it will peak in the Top 10! "Uptown Funk" is still a "maybe".. |

So mad It's really difficult not to get mad with them when they are somehow unsatisfied with 7 weeks at #1 and the massive success that Blank Space has had. Ohhhh it didn't get the 20 weeks at #1 that you thought it would, boo f**king hoo! No one is putting down Taylor and kudos to her because surely she's more than happy with her success unlike some overly obsessive fans. It's the fans that are never satisfied and always want more and obviously not all fans are like that but the ones that are give the rest of them a bad name. I can't believe someone has the nerve to be so dissatisfied and upset and angry at Uptown Funk (which doesn't even have anything to do with the gradual decline of BS) about Blank Space falling after it has been huge for such a long time. You expect it to stay up there forever and never come down? Yeah that seems totally reasonable. Ugh. and for the record this is not directed at you because you didn't say anything about it but it's for the other person who said something about how it sucks that Blank Space is losing airplay (after being played like 5 times per minute on every station for the last two months give or take and 200 million AI by Kworb). I completely agree with YourFaveIsAFlop. Some Swifties need to realize that not everyone is as obsessed with Taylor as they are. |

It is very frustrating and annoying when people are so obnoxiously obsessive over something to the point of irrationality. It's totally ok to be a fan of someone and root for their music to be popular; everyone has that one artist (or maybe more) that they love and would like to see that artist's songs smash but it's a different story when after so much success of Blank Space the fan is in such disbelief that it has reached its peak. Why can't more of her stans be like Mr. Thonk Eyes? |

Well, the official add dates for Style is actually in February.... So it will probably get it's video release around early March, at that point, except Uptown Funk managed to reign for something like 10 weeks+ (Which mean TOL will be blocked if that happen....), then Style is an abivous #1 at that time when the video is released, that is, if the video is on point and managed to get enough attention for it to boost Style straight to #1. Then again, if the fact that Uptown Funk is advancing at 6M+ per day it seems it will be this year's Happy, I just hope the best for you guys in USA and Canada so that it won't be overplayed to hell to the point that even Mark G. will be sick of it, cuz' I'm lucky enough that the radio stations in my country isn't one to play one song more than three times a day, and five, if it's lucky enough to get a lot of request.
In another note, what is the difference between the two version of Uptown Funk in iTunes?

Just to make things clear, I never disliked a song because it's beating a Taylor one. I just dislike "Uptown Funk" right now and said my opinion, why are you making this so huge? I love all of the top 20 tracks but "Funk" it's just not my thing! chill out!

There is no difference in terms of the actual song. Now that the album version has Top 10 visibility, can't imagine that the single version will be up much longer. Frankly, I'm surprised they haven't pulled it already. It's not like UF is in any danger of not being #1 for this tracking week. |

Sugar reminds me a lot of Birthday. The guitar in both sounds really similar, and the music videos are twins, one just has to do with weddings while the other is Birthday parties. That being said I love Sugar and I find it to be the better version of Birthday.

Sugar reminds me a lot of Birthday. The guitar in both sounds really similar, and the music videos are twins, one just has to do with weddings while the other is Birthday parties. That point does not work because it is the artistry in the song that makes it special. Everyone has agreed that Bruno elevated that song to a new level, and funk in its finest form is catchy and fun as hell. Anyways, glad to see the charts moving around a bit, 2015 is looking much better than 2014 already!!! |
