^It'll be interesting to see what it does! Will it still become a hit or just a middling Top 15 hit?

Physical singles are up nearly 25%? Where the hell do people buy singles anymore?

Physical singles are up nearly 25%? Where the hell do people buy singles anymore? Every time I post that, people are surprised. Artists have started selling cd singles before an album comes out. Rock acts and country artists. Best Buy frequently has these singles. I'm sure Walmart sells them as well. They are only priced at $2. Record Store Day also sells a lot of singles in April. Artists put out 7-inch vinyl singles.

The only CD single I've seen in recent times was a 5 Minutes of ... whatever that group is called. I see a lot more 4-track EPs though. The last CD single I bought was Skyfall. I'd probably buy more if I ever saw them tbh.

Anybody think Adele's gonna go for a Radio record? Ordinarily, I'd say 100%, but Xmas is coming on AC in just two weeks (and she has one of the fastest rising songs I can ever recall on that format with 16MM impressions), coupled with all the adjustment during the last couple of weeks during the year. It really depends on whether the song ends up peaking at radio very fast, if a second single is planned for radio in January (or sooner), but if it is still gaining post-Xmas, look out.

If AC lessens play of Christmas music, which looks to have happened last year, maybe "Hello" will not see a drastic decline at the format. It has a nice "wintry" sound- maybe the label should issue a version with holiday-related lyrics. "Store Singles" also includes bundled digital singles, yes? Like remix packages, two-track or more, etc.

Same Old Love 50,000 kworb.net/ccWow. Look at that CMA impact. Whiskey should chart this week and perhaps Away will as well. Guessing Focus debuts right at 10. Bieber's got a brand new tune? Interesting. Maybe it cracks the top half of the charts this week. I'm guessing that it looks like Wildest Dreams is done. Surprised that Dreams didn't crack top 5 (thanks in part to Stitches) or that Downtown didn't make the top 10 (perhaps it still can).

I was afraid and I'm not sure and I don't know if either three or two videos or only one video will potentially and possibly enter Billboard Hot 100 or Bubbling Under Hot 100 or possibly other Billboard charts after eitther three made viral: That school girl from South Korea (I translated from Korea in Google Translate and it was named called Sun Sora):
(It stacked as of early Sunday: 3,928,692 views) Conor Maynard featuring Anth:
(It stacked as of early Sunday: 1,991,396 views) Leroy Sanchez:
(It stacked as of early Sunday: 5,765,832 views) Or is anyone know is that true that either three videos of cover version of Adele's "Hello" will be increase and gain the original version's streaming strength on Billboard Hot 100 when it still staying its number one position over coming next weeks?

It's so shocking that a lead single from Ariana is only going to sell about 100k, when PROBLEM did 438k ..... While many may blame the song, this feels way more like an overall popularity issue ......

^Is her single tied to a pre-order? If "Problem" was, any "sales" associated with a pre-order counted for the chart, which is not the case with "Focus." Again, I don't know the specifics, RE the pre-order situation for either release.

While many may blame the song, this feels way more like an overall popularity issue ...... Her public standing has declined, but so have downloads in general. Swift's "Shake It Off" debuted with a lower total than "We Are Never...," for instance. Only Adele has bucked the trend. "Focus" also just hasn't been received as well. So, it's several things.

^Is her single tied to a pre-order? If "Problem" was, any "sales" associated with a pre-order counted for the chart, which is not the case with "Focus." Again, I don't know the specifics, RE the pre-order situation for either release. Neither single were tied to a pre-order. "My Everything" wasn't announced until 2 months after the initial release of "Problem."
