I was afraid and I'm not sure and I don't know if either three or two videos or only one video will potentially and possibly enter Billboard Hot 100 or Bubbling Under Hot 100 or possibly other Billboard charts after eitther three made viral: That school girl from South Korea (I translated from Korea in Google Translate and it was named called Sun Sora):
(It stacked as of early Sunday:Β 3,928,692 views) Conor Maynard featuring Anth: (It stacked as of early Sunday:Β 1,991,396 views) Leroy Sanchez:
(It stacked as of early Sunday:Β 5,765,832 views)Or is anyone know is that true that either three videos of cover version of Adele's "Hello" will be increase and gain the original version's streaming strength Β on Billboard Hot 100 Β when it still staying its number one position over coming next weeks? They won't add any steams to Adele and I doubt any of the streams for those videos are chart eligible anyway, and if they were they'd need way more than a few million to get anywhere near the chart

^Is her single tied to a pre-order? If "Problem" was, any "sales" associated with a pre-order counted for the chart, which is not the case with "Focus." Again, I don't know the specifics, RE the pre-order situation for either release. Problem was not tied to an album pre-order, but it had its own pre-order campaign as a single. I don't know if any exact data ever emerged, but the belief is that the pre-order campaign played a big part in producing that monstrous 438K first week sales total. We saw something similar - albeit on a smaller scale - for Fifth Harmony's "Bo$$" last year. I'm actually baffled why Republic, knowing how well it worked, didn't do the same for "Focus." Especially since it announced the single a month in advance - it could have been banking pre-orders during that stretch.

What are the chances for LIGLY making the Top 10 this week over Focus? I believe LIGLY will be #9 and Focus #10.

It's so shocking that a lead single from Ariana is only going to sell about 100k, when PROBLEM did 438k ..... While many may blame the song, this feels way more like an overall popularity issue ...... Her public standing has declined, but so have downloads in general. Swift's "Shake It Off" debuted with a lower total than "We Are Never...," for instance. Only Adele has bucked the trend. "Focus" also just hasn't been received as well. So, it's several things. Focus sold 20% what Problem did in its first week. Sure, the song was not well-received, sales are down, but 20%!?

"Focus" just wasn't good enough to attract her non-die hards on its first week. It still seems too low for her. Isn't it half what The Way sold when she was barely a name? She seemed to have a huge fanbase, and I wonder if a large part of them have moved on already. Acts targeted to a mostly young demo seem to do well out of the gate despite the quality of the material, so it's just too big of a drop, I'm not sure what to think of it.

How did AG's follow-up singles sell out of box or during peak weeks? Another factor could be IA - she was very hot at the time and I'm sure that played into perhaps higher than normal sales.

Thanks for the info RE the Grande lead singles, BMAC and kanimal. :) Then that is a notable drop-off, lead single to lead single. The thing is, too, some of these newer acts not taking much time in-between album releases (except Adele, of course), lessening anticipation.

If Hello pulls 500K or more for a second week, this will be the first song to do this, no? Third song Candle in the Wind did in four times I Will Always Love You did it twice as well. I should have clarified, I was actually referring to digital sales, but that's interesting about CITW and IWALY - I've always wondered what the weekly breakdowns were for those songs. Billboard recently did an article listing the top selling single weeks for both physical and digital - very interesting to look at.

Is In the Night the next single from BBTM? I believe so, just read in Rolling Stone that it will be.

So as an update, that's 18 weeks in a row with no Americans at #1 - a record.
And the top 6 don't feature an American - something that hasn't happened in over 30 years (well, except last week).

Aw, I was hoping that one of "Ex's and Oh's" or "Here" would sneak into the top 10, maybe we'll get that next week if there aren't any more big new releases.

Wow. Look at that CMA impact. Whiskey should chart this week and perhaps Away will as well. Guessing Focus debuts right at 10. Bieber's got a brand new tune? Interesting. Maybe it cracks the top half of the charts this week. I'm guessing that it looks like Wildest Dreams is done. Surprised that Dreams didn't crack top 5 (thanks in part to Stitches) or that Downtown didn't make the top 10 (perhaps it still can). Actually, Wildest Dreams was able to crack the top 5, at #5, on the November 7th chart. :) I see that now on Billboard. Thanks for catching that. It's still only going down from here...

Stitches 5. What Do You Mean? 4. Sorry 3. The Hills 2. Hotline Bling 1. Hello Justin has two songs in the top 5 and a third just below the Testee cutoff point. Not bad so far. I take it that the charting of Thriller is due to the Halloween airplay, right? Way to go for Chris Stapleton. Whiskey adds a shot to the charts thanks to the CMAs and a fellow named Timberlake. Took me a while, but I'm finally warmed to Lose You now. Good song and message. Hoping for Ex's and Oh's and Here to crack the top 10 soon. Jerz: Best case scenario is that one of them might crack the Hot 100 themselves due to enough streams. Think I Prevail's version of Blank Space earlier this year. But more likely is that all get increased views to their videos/channels even though none of them chart. It's mostly win/win for them.
