^ You definitely owe both Wot and popstop for that win. Speaking of which, finally Wot gets a win.

Why did I visit Cynthia and why did Popstop change his visit away from Cynthia. Those are my two questions.

OR you could have done a better job of keeping your ass alive on D2 so we could have endgamed town with my PGO! Stay alive - literally the only thing I needed you to do. You had one job, Az! One job! If you think about it, I wasn't even pushing you for real. I was letting town WIFOM all over themselves and you had to go in and fuck shit up with that vote on LBT AND you piggybacked my hinting at Wot being the cop in the same post (which Wot clocked). I TOLD YOU NOT TO DO THAT AZ. DIDN'T I TELL YOU NOT TO DO THAT? ONE JOB!

Overall I think Town and scum played at about even levels this game. Scum definitely started better, in no small part due to Town's epic D1 fuck-up, but it's hard for me to really say that scum played better overall when ultimately Az + Cynthia were unable to close the deal. For however more longer than necessary it took to make it happen, Town did ultimately rally back from their mistake to figure it out. And WotUNeed glad I was not the only one to make note of how much easier D3 would've been had popstop stuck to his original N2 plan, LOL.

@antigonerising What would your strategy have been if popstop was also killed, leaving just you, Wot, and Albie? Wot would know for sure it was you. Would you have just given up at that point or would you have tried to convince Albie that you were the cop and that Wot was lying?

Why did I visit Cynthia and why did Popstop change his visit away from Cynthia. Those are my two questions. Oh, I was convinced that you were borrowing from Albie's 'if I die hopefully it leaves a trail' strategy that he used on N1. Lowkey you the real MVP. I think you were the first one to have Az and me nailed. I wish pop hadn't changed his vote, I'm used to being quick lynched and Wot dragged this shit ouuuuuuuuut. I knew he was purposely keeping his last result away from us but I didn't know how I was 'supposed' to react to that. Like, if I didn't put a vote down (or at least give a definitive 'of these two I would guess ____' answer) wouldn't that have just made me seem scummier? I haven't gone through most of the green room yet but all of N2/D3 was a distracted mess on my part anyway. My original plan was going to be to kill Wot and save the PGO for N3. For some reason the thought of sitting through D3 became overwhelming so I figured fuck it, I'll just kill his one read and hope I attract a bunch of townies to me. Re: this comment from Libra - I feel like you have the bolded points points kind of wrong. Town didn't nail Az, Az fell into that shit. And while I think if I had been around even once yesterday it would have helped, I got caught up in real life so I legit didn't have a chance to get on. I had almost completely run out of steam anyway, so I really don't know that I could have pulled it off much longer. I don't really feel too bad about the loss b/c it's nice to see town win on its own merits, even if I didn't get to be town this time. I thought town played pretty well this game (again - go back through thread and see how many times people keep bringing Az and me up). You guys just kept doubting yourselves so much. You'd get close to me and then bounce away.

I TOLD YOU NOT TO DO THAT AZ. DIDN'T I TELL YOU NOT TO DO THAT? ONE JOB! I'm not even going to argue this at all, LOL. That said, I do think he's correct in that killing Wot straight-up would have been the better play. Especially when one considers LBTrocks's reaction upon hitting the Green Room: Suffice it to say that fooling the Town D3 would not have been that difficult given those circumstances.

I don't know though... when popstop hammered Az on D2, I had decided he was town because I didn't think scum would hammer their one and only partner 12 hours before the deadline, AFTER being the one to essentially initiate the deadline extension. Wot would have cleared Albie, therefore clearing himself, so that would leave Cynthia and I actually believe that I would have voted her in the end.
ETA What the f**k am I saying Wot would have been dead lmao. Still think I might have went with Cynthia in the end cuz I was thinking town for Albie, as evidenced by my D2 reads.
ETA [2] Then again, popstop would have likely went with Albie, since without Wot, he had Cynthia pegged as town. So for me it would have been between Albie and Cynthia, and I honestly can't say which one I would have went with in the end. So yeah, I guess it would have been better for Cynthia to kill Wot lol.

Would you have just given up at that point or would you have tried to convince Albie that you were the cop and that Wot was lying? I'm neither that smart nor that fast (nor do I believe Albie so dense that he'd just lay a vote down without waiting for Wot to weigh in) so I think my goose would have been cooked. I spent too much time on D2 lining you and Wot up as definitely town and I just don't believe I would have been able to pull off a straight up cop-claim...so by D3 I probably wouldn't have even showed my face lmao Libra so what you're telling me is that I vastly underestimate my ability to bullshit from #1 to infinity? lol. B/c that is pretty much what it came down to - Wot was smart to keep some of his thoughts to himself I guess, but at the end of D2 he seemed to be the one player most leaning town on me. That's legit the only reason I kept him alive, I was afraid of not being able to win anyone else over if I lost him.

You know how important it is to appear town when you're scum, and you're good at pulling it off. Also did @touch ever get a Green Room link lol. Never saw him in there. Figured he might be interested in seeing how this game played out. Or not lol.

Beyond the obvious fuck up of day 1 and the fact I was lynched thus ending my playtime, I was annoyed that Az wasn't the first lynch because I felt his gameplay was just so... off more than usual. I know I have a tendency to see things that aren't really there but as far as day 1 suspicions CAN go, I felt confident enough about him. What made it worse was that the bandwagon was so hard against me when I wasn't even around to see it happen lmao. My favourite part was walker's vote on me because I was m.i.a. even though I had just said I was going to bed lmao.
I don't think I would have guessed Cynthia though. Even at the end, I would have struggled and probably would have stuck my vote on Popstop in a stubborn rampage.

Az, seriously tho what kind of strategy ....Opposite day? Really? I thought he was trolling and intentionally trying to get lynched at that point, but that doesn't seem to be the case lol. I'm his teammate and *I* don't know what he was doing. No shade to Az but I definitely think Albie came closest of anyone when he said this: I agree the Cynthia-Az team does seem more convoluted but at the same time I feel like it actually makes it seem more of like they had to roll with the punches. My initial vote on Az was a too-eager attempt to start distancing, but it wasn't my intent to stay there forever. I was going to push him a bit and then move on to pushing someone else. But then other people started pushing him and every response he had became progressively scummier...town Cynthia wouldn't have moved her vote in that scenario, so scum Cynthia couldn't move her vote. If I was going to lose my partner, I actually needed to lose him on D1 when the hard distance would not have raised any eyebrows. Not on a D2 extension where the person that I could most likely drive a mislynch for being his partner is the guy who hammers him with 12 hours left before deadline and the person who seems to be most in my corner is the cop. (ONE JOB, AZ.) Seriously, though, I was actually legitimately not happy about Max or Az's lynches because they both happened way too quickly and while I was not around to try to pull things into the direction that would have been most beneficial to my team. Once he made it to D2, it actually would have been better for us if I were the one who was lynched b/c then everyone would have assumed that I was cleverly trying to set both him and popstop up, and those two could coast to endgame. I wish I had the energy to go through and point out every mistake I made just for funsies but there are too many so whatevs! I will say that Albie gave me my first freak out on D2 when he noticed that I said I 'followed' walker, rather than 'visited.' And while I was able to argue my way around it a bit, pop noted that the alphabetical strategy conveniently placed me and Az next to each other. (Our NK would have been whoever was visiting Az, but I realistically wasn't expecting the plan to follow through so I wasn't too worried about it.)

Haha, I just wanted to tease Albie a little since he distrusted me most of the game. Thank you, albie and Wot, for making the right call! I haven't seen the green room link - can someone send it to me? nm. I can't read. And for reals, I rejected my flavor. I asked josh to give me either Justin Trudeau or Aaron Schock, and then he goes and makes Aaron the initial death and didn't give me Justin, so I basically said f**k that. So I went with Justin anyhow much to his annoyance. It's been fun being Canadian. awesomecharts, like I said, I sent my request to visit Cynthia, and then about twenty minutes later thought hmm, just in case, I'll switch to Ginger. I did consider she bussed az because two days on him seemed strange.

Thank you for the game, josh and Zeebz ! I was not at all familiar with this setup before (as was probably obvious when I decided to spend too much time analyzing it instead of playing it to start), but it was pretty cool. Kudos to Az Paynter and @antigonerising as well. For what the two of you had to work with in terms of real life time/energy to devote to the game (and Az's built-in time zone difficulties), you still played a nice game, despite Town getting luckier this time out. In terms of the group of players as a whole, other than the Libra/walker role (sorry ), I thought everyone did an admirable job of committing to this game. It's a lot more fun to play when half the game isn't flaking from the beginning. Oh, and, Albie ... but even if you end up making the right decision, you'll be greeted with all kinds of criticism about how you missed ten obvious signs that should have led you to take your action a hundred times faster ... was pretty much the only thing I could be sure I was right about, haha.

Yeah I mentioned it in the Green Room right after I got in there, but the reason I pretty much bailed on this game was because Friday night I was sitting there trying to make sense of what had been said/done so far...and it was just not happening. Friday night I was basically fried after having been doing yard work for a friend for what ended up being 7 hours. Combine that with having only just realized the night before that this had started (and as I'm laying in bed, no less), and not really being sure how soon I'd be able to get substantially caught up and contribute...yeah, I made the judgment call right then and there that I'd be better off not sticking around. :( It wouldn't really have been till Sunday that Id've felt up to devoting hard energy to this, and surely by that time y'all would've been hounding me left and right for it, so yeah it was better IMO that I left when I did. Granted I do lament the missed opportunity in not getting to really play in this one, but oh well - it is what it is.

Definitely echoing Wot's thoughts here in thanking Josh and Zebra for a fun game! As much as I get in my own head about things and get frustrated and what not I always enjoy playing. The open set up thing for some reason threw me for a loop off the bat so I was off to a shaky start anyway.
Popstop I was really sold on your towniness when you made that statement about how you felt our scattered play was similar. I found that a really telling observation but the seeds of doubt were so heavily planted.
What I didn't want was a repeat of the one game recently where bigfan hammered and I was so sure I would do that if I voted popstop. The more I reread my own case for Cynthia the more it made sense but popstop was a huge distraction for me. But then what else is new.
I've only skimmed the Green Room but whomever said something about mine and popstop's lovers quarrel- I love you. Josh- you didn't hear that. :)
Also Wot I really liked your game. You are so eloquent and clear and I'm glad I didn't end up making you look bad in the end because you deserve the win imo.
Az...well maybe I should read the GR first. Cynthia - well played. You're so damn convincing as town.
