I can't believe the new Christina songs hadn't reached #1 on iTunes, shows no support for tragedy . People can't download a song they don't know even exists.

Thanks, I wish I had an accent. But I am very snarky. In music discussion I had ask if Lukas Graham was going to promote anything else and no one answered me. I did find out they are. The song is called Mama Said, which was a hit for them in Europe last year. Hope it can take off here. Still surprised 7 Years did so well in the states. Horrible choice. "Happy Home", "Better Than Yourself" and "You're Not There" are sooo much better.

There have been plenty of songs just released bylesser known artists that have shot up top 10 within hrs of release so don't try to say nobody knows Change is out to purchase.

Lesser known artists like who? Just because you don't know them doesn't mean they aren't well known by the demographic that downloads music. Christina just simply isn't big staple anymore by any standards. Also, like it was already pointed out, there are much better ways to show support of an issue than downloading a song you don't like. If I don't like a charity single, I'm not paying for it. Especially when I can just as easily donate to whatever charity it goes to. Hell, I can donate $5 to any charity right now rather than $1.29 for a song where an undetermined amount of that said purchase goes to a charity.

OK I understand I may have worded my post incorrectly. I get Christina Aguilera isn't a huge popular artist anymore, yet well known. I have donated but also have downloaded the single for the cause. It's not her best works but most artists or their record companies don't do this very often. I just think its a great effort on her part to do such a thing, so I'm gonna support her and what's its for.

The reason some of you or others may have thought to google "change" to figure out what Christina I was talking about is because so many only pay attention to artists the majority follow at the present moment. While some keep up with all in the music industry. To see if divas of yesterday may have something new coming out.

Or it is possible that not everyone follows the iTunes charts this closely and we might not known there was a song out that we should be obsessing over about why it is not #1 "Christina" doesn't automatically mean Aguilera anymore as well

I don't know wtf song you people are talking about by Christina but the way I showed my support was by writing my elected officials demanding change to gun laws.

No. The song not being #1 on iTunes, I guess is offensive but that means not everyone is properly showing support by buying it -LOL

No. The suggestion that in order to show support for the victims, you must buy this song. Moot point since westlife4life clarified his comment anyway.
Not sure what you guys are reading.

Predictions: Rank | Song | Sales | Airplay | Streams | Points | 1 | One Dance | 90 | 160 | 22.0 | 44,300 | 2 | Can't Stop The Feeling | 125 | 165 | 11.5 | 40,000 | 3 | Panda | 60 | 70 | 29.0 | 37,800 | 4 | Don't Let Me Down | 70 | 125 | 15.0 | 32,800 | 5 | Work From Home | 50 | 85 | 14.0 | 25,700 | 6 | This is What You Came For | 70 | 80 | 10.0 | 24,100 | 7/8 | Needed Me | 30 | 55 | 16.0 | 22,200 | 7/8 | Don't Mind | 40 | 75 | 12.0 | 22,000 | 9/10 | Cheap Thrills | 65 | 65 | 9.0 | 21,200 | 9-11 | I Took A Pill in Ibiza | 35 | 85 | 10.5 | 21,100 | 10/11 | Just Like Fire | 70 | 85 | 5.5 | 20,900 | 12 | 7 Years | 35 | 80 | 10.5 | 20,600 |
* CSTF finally looks to get the #2 spot (thanks to Panda having a large decline in points). * There isn't much separation between #7-12 so predicting exact positions would be difficult, but it looks like both "Don't Mind" and "Cheap Thrills" (Yay!) will be able to enter Top-10. * Hopefully ITAPII is able to get one last week in Top-10, but JLF also has a shot. "7 Years" will most probably fall out of Top-10 due to large declines across all metrics.

Y'all, take this stuff too seriously. It makes me laugh. And by saying Christina Aguilera is the only Christina that I know of who has been really popular.

Do you guys think DLMD could reach the top 3 with Panda declining? I really don't want it to join my list of songs I personally like that peaked at #4 since last summer (SUAD, Lean On, 679, Stitches, My House, ITAPII, I might have missed one or two)
