Drake's now got the most weeks for a song to be #1 while not #1 on any component chart (4).
This top 3 is getting a bit stale...

This Is What You Came For should surpass Panda in a few weeks Don't Let Me Down could do the same as well but I think it will barely be behind it

I wouldn't even bet on a top 20 debut tbh. It'll probably debut around 26-30 IMO

The 2011 chart is so epic. I love every song on there. If I recall "Party Rock Anthem" replaces RITD? If memory serves me well I remember "Give Me Everything" peaked at #2.

Very happy about this week's top ten. Glad to see Justin go back up to #2, and Sia and Don't Mind enter the top ten. Also glad and surprised to see Meghan and Adele have big jumps.

Billboard Top 10 from 35, 30, 25, and 20 years ago: July 4, 198101 01 Bette Davis Eyes - Kim Carnes (7th of 9 weeks at #1)02 05 All Those Years Ago - George Harrison 03 06 The One That You Love - Air Supply 04 09 Jessie's Girl - Rick Springfield 05 07 You Make My Dreams - Daryl Hall & John Oates 06 10 Elvira - The Oak Ridge Boys 07 02 Stars On 45 (Medley) - Stars On 45 08 04 A Woman Needs Love (Just Like You Do) - Ray Parker Jr. & Raydio 09 12 Theme From "Greatest American Hero" - Joey Scarbury 10 13 I Don't Need You - Kenny Rogers July 5, 198601 02 There'll Be Sad Songs (To Make You Cry) - Billy Ocean (1st and only week at #1)02 04 Holding Back The Years 03 06 Who's Johnny - El DeBarge 04 05 No One Is To Blame - Howard Jones 05 09 Nasty - Janet Jackson 06 08 Invisible Touch - Genesis 07 03 Crush On You - The Jets 08 01 On My Own - Patti LaBelle & Michael McDonald 09 10 Sledgehammer - Peter Gabriel 10 14 Danger Zone - Kenny Loggins July 6, 1991Couple of interesting facts: bands and ex-band members In 1981 the #2 song had the former Beatles reunited in a song for the first time in 11 years, as this was a song that included George, Paul and Ringo (back home DJs would credit the song to the three of them). This wouldn't happen again until Free as a Bird.At the same time, the Beatles' songs were covered by the Dutch group Stars on 45 at #7. The group did a good job in sounding like the Fab Four and in painting their songs with a disco sound. It's also important to remember that in the US the song has the record of longest titled charting song ever (Its original title is "Medley: Intro 'Venus' / Sugar Sugar / No Reply / I'll Be Back / Drive My Car / Do You Want to Know a Secret / We Can Work It Out / I Should Have Known Better / Nowhere Man / You're Going to Lose That Girl / Stars on 45" (in other markets the song was just titled Stars on 45 though). In 1986 I found it interesting that Peter Gabriel was in the top 10 at the same time than his former band Genesis. Plus the fact that several artists in the top 10 had previously reached top 10 as members of groups: Patti LaBelle, Michael McDonald, Kenny Loggins, El Debarge.

Awesome to see Kanye on the chart again. Maybe he can save himself and end up being in the Top 100 artists of the year again after all. So far, he had better success on the Hot 100 last year with just Only One and All Day.
Also interesting to see Lil Yachty and Lil Uzi Vert, the two Trap Rappers that the rap comminity haven't been able to shut up about for the last 4 or 5 months finally chart. Both on the same day.
Great to see Desiigner with a second spot on the Hot 100.
Also interesting to see that Sweatshirt guy debut. Personally, I predict that it will get a big jump next week.

hitsdailydouble.com/news&id=301605Tuesday, June 21, 2016 TOP 25 SINGLES YEAR-TO-DATE: SALES VS. STREAMSThe single has gone through massive changes since its early heyday in the 1950s and ’60s, when it was affectionately referred to as the little record with the big hole. The latest metamorphosis, following its physical-to-digital transformation at the dawn of the 21st century, finds the single splitting in two, so to speak, as listeners make the choice between downloading and streaming. In the early going, Drake, with five tracks in the Top 25 below and just south of 1.5 billion streams altogether, has emerged as streaming’s dominant figure, while Justin Bieber, with three entries, has shown the acrobatic ability to balance himself between the two spheres. Interestingly, Lukas Graham, a pop newcomer on Warner Bros. on this hip-hop-centric chart dominated by UMG singles, has the year’s top seller. And some new stars—including G-Eazy, Desiigner and the double-dipping Chainsmokers, all on Sony labels—are racking up serious streams amid the high-end competition. Study this Top 25 closely; it’s an eye-opener and a sign of things to come during the next six months and beyond.

Are digital sales stabilizing or performing slightly better vs. last year perhaps?

Wow, I didn't think songs were still selling that much, especially with so many songs struggling to break 100k on the weekly charts. How did that happen?

Interesting that the year's best selling single, "My House," isn't in the top 25 for streaming.

But hasn't "Can't Stop the Feeling" been selling over 100k consistently for weeks? That would at least equate a couple weeks with the #1 selling 200k and then nada.

Yeah but if I remember correctly Cheerleader and Can't Feel My Face were selling a lot more than CSTF and One Dance/TIWYCF are selling now so I would still say no, sales still aren't even as good this year as they were at this time of the year last year

Last year in June..... Top-100 songs used to sell over 3.5M combined every week.... this June it's only 2.5M. Alternatively... the #100 song last year used to sell 12k.... now the #100 song sells 10k.
