Love the flashback song! It's probably my favorite Sam Smith song at this moment (the only one that didn't wear on me lmao) yet it's kinda forgotton... It finished at exactly #299 on my Top songs of weeks 1 - 100 lol :) A bit sad to see Starboy and 24K ending their legendary struggle for #1, but not a bad #1 with Black Beatles (Leo's gonna get mad soon lol) and hopefully All Time Low takes the top spot soon! RIP Heathens's run in the top 10... It's had a great tenure in there though! And hopefully Party Monster gets into top 10! (or at least doesn't drop too hard after Starboy hype ends lol) Blow Your Mind and Bad Things almost top 20! And glad to see most of The Weeknd's songs are still gaining strong! YAS!!! I Don't Wanna Live Forever debuts!!! Glad to see that you have a Taylor song on your chart despite ranking Taylor's songs quite low on the rankdown lol :) Hopefully it doesn't grow off you and gets some chance at the top! Also glad to see debuts by Alone, Reckless, Circles, Mr. Usher, and Stargirl!!! And damn, so many songs from the YE madness came on! Awesome chart this week! and good luck on your last HS finals that count! (I still have 3 more sets of finals that count...)

WEEK 3 of 2017 (12/17/2016)Welcome to another week full of "Annual Year-End Madness" debuts and rising 4 Your Eyez Only songs. As for my 2016 Year-End Chart, its video/countdown can't be too far away given the fact that break is coming in less than a week! TOP 50 VIDEO:OVERVIEW: Despite a 15% drop, Black Beatles holds on to the crown for a second week. The song definitely peaked last week and will very likely be dethroned this upcoming week, but by whom will that be? Jon Bellion continues to gain with All Time Low, remaining at #2, and now only 3% behind the leader. However, I Feel It Coming rises 7-3 strong gaining 31% in overall points. The Weeknd's second single appears to be en route to the top and is so far likely to gain significantly, again, for next week's chart. It'll surely be a close race between these two. The Weeknd's former #1, Starboy, falls 3-4 having been kicked out of the top 3 by his very own work. The track actually lost a lot more in points than the position drop would suggest; the spread between 4 and 8 (in points) is equivalent to that between 3 and 4. Rounding out the top 5, Send Them Off! returns 6-5 as it continues its up-down chart run wandering in between positions 4, 5, and 6. Marshmello's Alone leaves the top 5 falling two positions 4-6. Its future longevity is still undetermined, but I can say that it most likely will not be rising back up anytime soon. Similarly, Bruno Mars' 24K Magic continues its 2-position drops having gone 1-3-5-7 in the last four weeks. This, however, should rise this upcoming week after listening to the Carpool Karaoke and overall just "getting back into in." Fake It and Capsize are stationary at their respective #8 and #9 slots, with little to no change in points. And to finish off the top 10, The Weeknd has a third concurrent entry with Party Monster. Going off mainly obsessive streaming, the artist's album track rises 13-10. The 3-in-the-top-10 caliber has not been attained at any point on my chart other than the one week where Coldplay performed at the Super Bowl and I allowed for the entry of various of those songs at high positions. Just missing the top 10, home by gnash (25-12) continues to blow up allowing the artist to continue his top 15 streak as i hate u, i love u begins to fall faster and faster. Itself along with the likes of Bad Things and Let's Hurt Tonight are up and coming top 10 hits nearly for sure. And though it reached a new peak, 11 Blocks' gains continue to slow; I'm not sure Wrabel will go much higher. And for some huge position jumps, Deja Vu is awarded this week's Greatest Gainer (+126%) moving up 50 positions to #27! Also in its second charting week, I Don't Wanna Live Forever zooms 60-33 looking good for its near future. Lastly, some decent gains from Love On The Brain in reaching the top 30 and Fake Love in just making it to the top 40. And for those like chicken077 interested in T Swift's history on my chart: Longevity is definitely a weak point for her. Blank Space (Weeks: 2, Peak: 45*) Style (Weeks: 8, Peak: 23*) Wildest Dreams (Weeks: 20, Peak: 12) Bad Blood (Weeks: 13, Peak: 18) Out Of The Woods (Weeks: 11, Peak: 52) New Romantics (Weeks: 4, Peak: 76) * = Would've made it higher had I not started the chart in the middle of their runs GREATEST GAINS:1. WEEK 1 (1/07/2017)So, I posted the video for this at the beginning of the week but never felt like or had the time to update here. Anyway, here's this week's complete top 100 where you can see the continued domination of The Weeknd, the jumps from Say You Won't Let Go and Rockabye, and the debuts of Ed Sheeran's tracks (which are about to shoot up epically) as well as Find Me (a sure-to-be future hit). I may start going back in depth on some more complete chart reviews this coming week when I update but for now I think I'll leave it here. On another note, I'll be altering my year-end charts to actually cover Jan.-Dec. of the given year so my 2016 year-end chart will go through the 12/31 chart instead now. This is officially week 1 of 2017. Just ignore the YT thumbnail plz lol. chicken077 MTSChart21 Ice Cream 15 (Broccoli 2018) jarhys Sambalada Leo ✔ truemusicreviews Mike is BAD Zach Xaprios

WEEK 2 (01/14/2017)Not much to say here since this is my second update today, other than the fact that I’m finally all caught up to date! This week, though, the chart did lose a few of its legends. :'( TOP 50 VIDEO:OVERVIEW: The Weeknd’s (and Daft Punk’s) domination continues as his 1-2 punch of I Feel It Coming and Starboy remain stationary at their respective positions. In fact, I Feel It Coming even gains by 8% to further expand the distance between the two, in its third week at the summit. On an exciting note, Ed Sheeran’s Shape Of You blasts 72-3 (486% up) as this week’s Greatest Gainer. Due to its airplay factor and my sudden obsession with the track, it surpasses the originally greater release of the two Castle On The Hill (moving up 64-15). Also, the familiar rhythm of the song allows The Greatest to significantly boost a second week up to 25, after having fallen down to 47 two weeks ago. Jon Bellion’s All Time Low continues its steady top 5 run slipping 3-4 with minor losses in points, as does gnash’s home moving 4-5 (still waiting for this one to grow in popularity hopefully lol). Also in the mid-top 10 zone, Let’s Hurt Tonight stays a second week at #6 possibly blocking it a top 5 peak. Unfortunately, Ed Sheeran’s lead single had to hit big just before 24K Magic’s top 5 magic came to an end. Say You Won’t Let Go moves up another position 8-7. I sure got this one correct when I thought it’d get big in the US as it’s doing so now! On the other hand, the aforementioned 24K Magic slides down 5-8. The Weeknd’s Party Monster re-enters the top 10 stronger than ever to a new peak, 13-9. Propelled by its MV release late this week, the track sure seems headed in the right direction as it was beginning to slip just last week prior to the video release. And a third entry (second new entry) to the top 10, Rockabye, marks Clean Bandit’s first hit to reach this range on the chart as well as Sean Paul’s and Anne-Marie’s. Outside the top 10 and those songs already described, Love On The Brain continues its steady run up (now at #16). Could it possibly be Rihanna’s first top 10 hit as a lead artist? It’s MV still is not out and the song still hasn’t fully hit big in popularity, so maybe. Additionally, Ritual seems to be making a comeback after falling to #20 a few weeks ago, mostly since I’m actually hearing it on one local radio station now. GREATEST GAINS:1. Shape Of You [72-3] +486% 2. Castle On The Hill [64-15] +158% 3. Party Monster [13-9] +42% 4. Find Me [68-42] +42% 5. Rockabye [14-10] +36% GREATEST LOSSES:1. Too Good To Say Goodbye [36-59] -26% 2. WEEK 3 (01/21/2017)Welcome back everyone to quite a sad week on my chart as this marks the end of chart legend, Stressed Out after 88 long weeks! In fact, this song has been here since my first edition, the very beginning, of the chart. And adding to that, Sucker For Pain has also gone recurrent, another chart topper. Well, I guess the start of a new year has cleared out many of 2016's still-standing major hits. The longest running song, Hymn For The Weekend, still remains at 61 weeks while the next longest song(s) lie only at 32. Since I’m currently working on my year-end chart/countdown I won’t be doing an overview on this week’s chart. And just in general, you will see that in the last few weeks a load of alternative songs are making their ways up the chart and that’s pretty much a current trend going on with me I guess. There are always certain months that seem more heavy on a specific genre. Heck, even a couple weeks hosted 10+ country songs. Oh, and about the video titles, I'll probably change them to the current YE countdown format since those look a bit better. TOP 50 VIDEO (ft. the greatest video quality throwback video ever):GREATEST GAINS:1. Don't Leave [99-55] +73% 2. HeavyDirtySoul [66-33] +68% 3. Blame [86-47] +66% 4. Freal Luv [93-67] +33% 5. Update on the last two weeks, since I plan on releasing this week's on time. I posted the top 50 video for 1/28's chart, but I won't bothering embedding it here since it isn't even the latest week. However, I won't be able to make a video for Week 6 either since I won't be home over the weekend; I'll just post my chart on Sat/Sunday. And also, hopefully I can continue and finish my 2016 Year-End countdown sooner rather than later. Anyway, just briefly here some highlights: - "Castle on the Hill" reaches the summit for 2 weeks holding a massive 62% lead on 1/28 following its video release. Ed Sheeran currently holds a 1-3 combo; can he reach top 2 on Saturday?
- "Rockabye" jumps all the way up to #2 albeit still significantly behind the leader. "Say You Won't Let Go" enters the top 5 as well peaking at #4 thus far.
- Alt Rock trend continues with jumps from songs such as "Cold Cold Cold," "Silvertongue," "Wish I Knew You," and "Human."
- "Bad And Boujee" grew on me for a couple weeks somehow and now it's f**king annoying again so it should leave soon (kinda like the Juju situation).
- Also, some very interesting debuts from Nickelback and Depeche Mode in the most recent update. And let's not forget Imagine Dragons, where I will admit "Believer" sounds great to me.

So my interest in charts has kind of been waning recently, which is pretty much why I haven't stayed on track with these and also partially the BB year-end predictions (along with other complications). I'll see where that takes me in the future but for now I'm really hoping I can get a Week 7 video out tomorrow (or Monday since I've got that day off) and post the corresponding list for that, as well. From there, I have my much-delayed Top 100 of 2016 to get to, which I really want to finish soon. WEEK 7 (02/18/2017)Well, it’s been a month since my last “full review,” but I’m feeling pretty good at the moment to make one for this week. This week includes a new #1, a new top 5 entry, and a new top 10 entry. Additionally, there are a substantial number of reentries, which I’ll go more into detail later. TOP 50 VIDEO:Oh, I almost forgot to address the "Throwback of the Week." I was really hoping so, so much that song would be a hit in 2015 (I know it's not that old). I still remember looking over Pulse during that time for a bit and I came across it this week while I was going through fixing up certain parts of my decade-end Billboard chart estimates. I started listening over and over again to it; still sounded great. Too bad he never ended up having a breakthrough hit (at least yet, I guess); I remember that one week this debuted on the Hot 100 though. OVERVIEW: I think I’m going to more into detail to entries and up-and-coming songs, more so than the top 10, since it’ll be more interesting to list my opinions on those newer songs rather than repeating phrases, week by week, on the top songs. That being said, I’ll focus on the top 10 gains to begin. - Ed Sheeran dethrones Ed Sheeran to hit the #1 spot with Shape Of You. Gaining by a solid 20%, attributed to its phenomenal Grammy performance and overall radio growth, it leads over Rockabye by 26%, which may end up stuck with a #2 peak.
- Rag’n’Bone’s Human continues its climb 7-4, also to be part of the top 5 greatest gains of the week. Following the artist’s album release (which was pretty decent) and the song’s continued expansion on Alternative radio, it may just challenge for #1 after the Ed Sheeran hype fades.
- Twenty one pilots is also back with Heavydirtysoul which pushes 8-6. Could the duo attain a fourth #1?
- To finalize my top 10 section review, Cage The Elephant reaches the zone with Cold Cold Cold. They’ve previously had hits with "Trouble" (#43 peak) and “Mess Around” (#17 peak).
- Imagine Dragons have yet another hit on their hands with Believer. Now, I know this song has received a lot of hate, along with some of the group’s other recent material, but that which others classify as a mess in the background atmospheric sounds, is nonexistent to me. Their songs “Roots,” “Gold,” and now “Believer” that are claimed to suffer from these characteristics are great in my opinion.
- Where’s The Revolution continues to move swiftly up 32-19. My dad actually loved Depeche Mode during his college years so, as a result, I’ve come to admire their previous albums and songs, and this one here is great, too.
- The xx’s On Hold explodes this week attaining the greatest gainer title with its 42-position jump. Similarly Cold War Kids jump 40 spots to reach the top 40 again with Love Is Mystical. Nathan Willett (lead singer)’s voice is just so powerful in this song, which I may like even more than “First” for. And I did like “First” quite a lot since it took me a much longer time to get sick of than it did for most.
- Ed Sheeran debuts once again with a third song release in How Would You Feel. Not sure where this one is going since it definitely isn’t as energetic as his first two, but still sounds beautiful.
- The 1975 finally re-enter with Somebody Else, which I’ve finally come to like after hating it for so long lol. Maybe it’s the fact that it always seems to be playing on Alternative radio nowadays.
- Lol Bad and Boujee is catchy, for me, again thus prompting its return with a new peak.
- Incubus debuts with Nimble Bastard, which I didn’t get to hear until very late in the week thus explaining why it may not be higher.
- LINKIN PARK’s new single Heavy is a really odd one for me. I want to hate that they have completely turned their sound around, but then again I do like pop music in that realm and I did really like kiiara’s “Gold.” It may actually end up a decent hit on my chart.
- Maroon 5 debut with their second release of the era, Cold. I have to say this is so, so, so much better than the bore that was “Don’t Wanna Know.” It’s probably their best release, for me, since “Maps” (would be “Sugar” but that got overplayed). I actually do like Future’s addition unlike Kendrick Lamar’s contribution in their first single. It may just be enough to finally get them a hit on my chart.
GREATEST GAINS:1. On Hold [73-31] +93% 2. Love Is Mystical [74-34] +83% 3. Where's The Revolution [32-19] +47% 4. Believer [18-12] +31% 5. Human [7-4] +26% GREATEST LOSSES:1.
