WEEK 45 of 2016 (October 8, 2016)Welcome all, back to yet another week of this chart! This week's edition features the third top 3 debut of the last 5 weeks; that is something which has never come even close to occurring in the past. Also, on another note, it was interesting to see that last week's chart video received over double the views any other video has! So, thanks everybody for making me feel happy after receiving 38 views on that video lol. Top 50 video below. Damn, just realized there's now a video for Do You Mind (also thanks to truemusicreviews for commenting that lol). Oh well... Overview:TOP 10: Even with the current hot competition, Starboy manages to score a second week despite a 13% decrease in total points. With only three weeks, it is now charting well into the 2016 year-end territory. It sustains a 17% lead over Bruno Mars' newcomer second place. 24K Magic, or should I say Uptown Funk! Pt. 2, debuts at #2 to not only outdo The Greatest and Starboy's debut weeks by position, but also to decimate both in terms of first week chart points. It should be a thrlling competition between this and the two earlier mentioned for the top spot in the oncoming weeks. The Greatest, the 1-week #1, recedes 2-3 and unfortunately loses its bullet (5% overall decrease). It seems as though this and Starboy may have reached their point peaks, but are just so far ahead of the competition at the moment. Hymn For The Weekend remains at #4 with a negligible decrease in points just narrowly beating out #5 for the week: Heathens. Heathens has now been in the top 5 for 16 (consecutive) weeks and still has a substantial lead on #6. Can this get close to Stressed Out's total of 23 top 5 weeks and 28 top 10 weeks? Sucker For Pain falls 5-6 each week seeming more likely to reach the year-end top 10! Kids stays at #7 a second week and fails to re-gain its bullet despite the release of Oh My My, OneRepublic's new album. Closer also continues to drop points in spite of the fact that it moved up 9-8. This Girl makes an unexpected resurgence at #9; I'm starting to get back into the song! Unfortuately, this is happening at the same time it is pretty much done on radio and the Billboard Hot 100. Finally, The Sound Of Silence drops 6-10 after last week's substantial gain. GREATEST GAINS: 1. Send Them Off! (+45) [87-42] 2. Broccoli (+25) [47-22] 3. False Alarm (+25) [58-33] 4. Move (+23) [97-74] 5. Say It (+22) [60-38] GREATEST LOSSES:1. Cancer (-24) [69-93] 2. You & Me (-20) [38-58] 3. Needed Me (-18} [77-95] 4. You Don’t Get Me High Anymore (-15) [83-98] 5. Revolution Radio (-13) [41-54] 5. Send My Love (-13) [67-80] NOTABLE NEW PEAKS (28):- No Problem moves up again 15-13 and really seems to have a chance at top 10 next week (along with I Hate U, I Love U) seeing as Closer, TSOS, Bang Bang, and Good Grief are falling ahead of the two.
- Gold reaches a new peak (19-17) in its 24th week! I had no idea this would be anywhere near the top 20 just five weeks ago.
- In The Name Of Love and Waste A Moment both enter the top 20 with much momentum to continue carrying them forward. Also, Broccoli blows up 47-22 to finally reach a new peak after having set its previous one (34) in only its 2nd week.
- Say It, LUV, and False Alarm all see 20+ position jumps to enter the top 40. LUV becomes Tory Lanez's highest peaking single (Say It peaked at #37).
- Alone continual steady gains enable it to reach the top 50. In My Mind does the same and sets its sights on top 40 or even top 30, with the speed it is moving at. And, finally, Send Them Off! is now Bastille's third single to reach the territory (45-position jump) following the release of its music video.
THE DEBUTS (8):- As OneRepublic is one of my favorite bands, a total of 4 debuts came from their new album, which I listened to thoroughly yesterday and today.
- The second highest debut of the week is John Legend's Love Me Now (69). It's slightly higher than usual debut was aided by the release of its video. We'll see where this goes in the future; its performance on radio will more than likely play a part in dictating its performance on my chart.
- The Chainsmokers' new song All We Know debuts and, after being a bore during the first few listens, is really starting to grow on me.
- Will OOOUUU be the next big Rhythmic/Urban hit on my chart after No Problem/Broccoli? We'll just have to wait and find out.
THE DROP-OUTS (8)/RECURRENTS (5):- Once again, we have 5 songs going recurrent this week. The first is The Hills which only came back for a week due to The Weeknd's increase popularity on my catalog.
- Blink-182's #2-peaking Bored To Death is likely to finish in this year's top 25. It could've been much higher if it hadn't been for its relatively fast downfall after exiting the top 5.
- Several other Alternative hits went recurrent this week. Young The Giant's Something To Believe In saw a solid run bouncing back and forth in the top 25 and River didn't have much longevity, but did peak at #7.
- Cleopatra had a decent run in the bottom half of the top 50 and may even re-enter soon once it is fully promoted to Alternative radio. I thought it would have been a while back which is why it debuted so long before the push will end up occurring.

WEEK 46 of 2016 (October 15, 2016)Welcome back to yet another week of my chart! This week features two new top 10 entries and several songs reaching new peaks in the top 20. Sorry about the very late Sunday update, but I was busy turning in my first college app on deadline date that I had procrastinated way too long for lol. Top 50 video: Overview:TOP 10: The Weeknd holds off Bruno Mars once again to attain his third week at the summit with Starboy. Not much to say about this one for the week, other than it receiving another average-sized decrease in overall points. 24K Magic spends a second week at #2 unable to catch Starboy despite its bullet. I will say that this week was quite underwhelming for the Bruno Mars comeback single and I'm not even sure if it will actually get to that #1 spot. It's kinda sounding dull on the radio. Nevertheless, Sia's The Greatest holds at #3 with some decrease in points, but still a sizable lead on the #4: Hymn For The Weekend. Coldplay's second single now tallies 47 weeks on the chart while still being in the top 5! Its fantastic longevity is sure to get it to the top 5 on the year-end chart. Heathens also holds in the top 5 another week though with some competition just behind it! Kids rebounds 7-6 regaining its bullet as well. I've got a good feeling this will re-enter the top 5 very soon. Rising 14-7, I Hate U, I Love U finally reaches the top 10. I never thought this would get this high, but its current performance on the hot 100 and its rise on radio must have helped it substantially. Also, its entry names it the song with the second-longest amount of weeks to reach the top 10, with 28 (first is Unsteady). Sucker For Pain falls 6-8 while This Girl is constant at #9 maintaining a bullet. And last but surely not least, No Problem finally enters the top 10 after making the "Notable New Peaks" section for the last several weeks. GREATEST GAINS: 1. Let’s Hurt Tonight (+44) [91-47] 2. Send Them Off! (+30) [42-12] 3. A.I. (+18) [78-60] 4. All We Know (+17) [79-62] 4. Please Don’t Go (+17) [81-64] GREATEST LOSSES (lol DJ Khaled must be the first artist to have 3 songs on here simultaneously):1. Cruel (-25) [62-87] 2. Deja Vu (-25) [67-92] 3. I Got The Keys (-22) [61-83] 4. Holy Key (-16) [25-41] 5. For Free (-14) [60-74] NOTABLE NEW PEAKS (32):- Send Them Off!, the second greatest gainer of the week, blasts 42-12 to become Bastille's third top 15 hit. As a matter of fact, the band has three songs in the top 20 this week! While not yet a single, I think I may love this one more than Good Grief; defintely a top 10 contender next week.
- Broccoli inches forward 22-19 to reach the top 20. Not sure where this one will go next as it is having an unpredictable chart run.
- False Alarm also enters the top 20, with a significant boost, from its MV release (which was pretty darn cool!)
- Despite DJ Khaled's other three songs plummeting down the charts, Do You Mind did reach the top 25 (32-24) and sets its sights on the top 20 for the next few weeks.
- In My Mind and Alone both jump by 12 positions to enter the top 50 and both hold the potential to go much higher! Hopefully, both can become radio hits although Alone would be difficult since that's the type of song that just won't get popular in the U.S.
- Aided by the album release, OneRepublic's Let's Hurt Tonight and Future Looks Good enter the top 50. Also, Adrenaline does the same and has an audio video that makes for a pretty cool clip in my videos!
THE DEBUTS (7):- No top 50 debuts this time around, but the hot shot debut award goes to 11 Blocks (68) whose destiny on this chart remains undetermined. I will say it will help it a lot if it can become a hit on various radio formats and/or the hot 100.
- With the rise in popularity of Marshmello, the artist makes his second appearance with Keep It Mello (76).
- Maroon 5's Don't Wanna Know debuts at somewhat of a low position relatively-speaking. The song kind of bored me at first, but it is starting to grow on me so there is hope!
- Can't really see any other entries becoming hits on this chart for now, at least.
THE DROP-OUTS (8)/RECURRENTS (3):- Can't Stop The Feeling! drops out after having a successful run peaking at #8. While being nowhere near its BB chart run, it will still manage to place well on the year-end chart.
- Too Good lasted 23 weeks of bouncing back and forth re-entering the top 50 in its final weeks on the chart. Should make year-end despite its underwhelming peak at #28.
- Send My Love (To Your New Lover) should also make it comfortably onto the year-end chart; it will be Adele's second as When We Were Young looks to miss by only a bit.

WEEK 48 of 2016 (October 29, 2016)Happy Halloween, everybody! Lol, I was barely able to keep my promise of releasing this on Monday (at least for PT standards). Anyway, I don't have enough time to write an overview (due to homework procrastination) so I'll just leave you guys with the chart and its corresponding video. On a separate note, I think I'll shorten my overviews to possibly just the top 10 in the future since they currently seem like overkill. Top 50 video (shoot just realized I must've deleted Please Don't Go's MV file before I uploaded this or something cause there's a distinct error, sorry about that):

WEEK 49 of 2016 (November 5, 2016)Remember, remember the fifth of November... Hopefully, I'll be able to release one of my charts on the actual date soon lol. Anyway, as we come to the close of this year we've got loads of new songs jumping up as some of the major hits of the past year or so see their final weeks. "Stressed Out" now charts in at 78 weeks falling to #44, which is the lowest it has been since its second week. "Don't Let Me Down" is also close to its end as it approaches 40 weeks while "Unsteady," "The Sound Of Silence," and "Ride" (reaches a year this week!) don't have much longer either. I, still, am not sure on how to present my year-end chart, but I think I'll hold off on the video and do some sort of countdown on here, first. I'm also hoping to change up my chart layout for 2017! Top 50 Video: OVERVIEW: The top 2 battle continues as 24K Magic reclaims the throne over Starboy to attain its second week at #1. Also regaining its bullet, it now holds a 13% lead over Starboy (its other #1 week, it was ahead by 4%). The Weeknd's single may indeed no longer have a chance at the #1 spot if 24K Magic continues its current momentum forward. Both 2016 "#1 late comers" will be well inside the year-end cutoff. I Hate U, I Love U holds steady at #3 (gaining a mere 1%). Can't really promise this will go any higher, but it might surpass Starboy in two weeks or so if it's lucky. Now falling much faster on the other hand, The Greatest remains at its #4 position just ahead of Heathens which continues its top 5 run that now totals 19 weeks! Likewise, Hymn For The Weekend manages to continue its gradual point descend staying still at #6. I can see this still being in the top 10 when December hits. Bastille's dominance grows as Send Them Off! and Fake It chart side by side at numbers 7 and 8, respectively. Both these songs have yet to be declared U.S. singles and have already out-peaked the band's first and only single (so far) from Wild World, Good Grief which continues to have great longevity (16-14). I can see them getting a top 5 hit with either of the two songs very soon. OneRepublic's Kids descends 7-9. Their stay in the top 10 has thus far surprised me; the album did give it a nice boost. I'm still really hoping this is successful on radio, but their next single will most likely reach be a hit on the chart either way. Marshmello is blowing up on the chart this week as the DJ's single Alone jumps 15-10 achieving his first top 10 only just displacing No Problem. Additionally, his collaboration with Wrabel, Ritual, sees a huge debut at #17 this week and he also reaches the top 50 with a third, Keep It Mello. We'll just have to see how far up Ritual can go in the coming weeks. Two top 10's are definitely plausible! Some other upcoming hits include Bruno Mars' Versace On The Floor, which will surely zoom up the chart next week, and Say You Won't Let Go, which debuted at #57 with only a few listens on Friday. Adele's Water Under The Bridge has a solid beginning week; it could be another Send My Love. Capsize, 11 Blocks, and Black Beatles are also looking pretty damn promising. GREATEST GAINS:1. What They Want (+24) [67-43] 2. Black Beatles (+18) [49-31] 3. Alarm (+17) [73-56] 4. Scars To Your Beautiful (+15) [53-38] 5. Capsize (+14) [34-20] GREATEST LOSSES:1. My Way (-40) [58-98] 2. Cold Water (-29) [41-70] 3. All We Know (-28) [61-89] 4. Juju On That Beat (-27) [60-87] 5.
