Why are people suddenly so confident about "Black Beatles" being #1 when yesterday people seemed reluctant? it's sales are continuously increasing and it will probably sell well over 150k at this rate (could even be pushing 200k). It's also going to get well over 30M streaming. That on its own is enough to pass Closer. 3-4 weeks ago it probably wouldn't have been enough, but Closer has decline enough in sales. I'm about 99.9% sure Black Beatles will be #1 unless something really unexpected happens. | Song | Sales | Airplay | Streams | Total | | Black Beatles | 170k | 24M | 39M | 53789 | | Closer | 63k | 152M | 27M | 44700 |
even if these are a bit off (which they probably are), there's no way for it to be a matter of more than 9k. Now it's just a matter of whether or not this will last more than a week. I feel like it will and that, as Leaf said in the previous thread, Black Beatles will be to Closer what See You Again was to Uptown Funk!... |

If "BB" does in fact take over #1, it would feel right; what song is having a bigger impact this week? It is also another song to 'come out of nowhere' to end a long run, as opposed to being a superstar release. In other words, you just never know.

"Closer" outgained "Starboy" at radio and basically tied "24k Magic" in the latest update, so folks who want "Closer" to fall better be glad "Black Beatles" came around.

You really think its are gonna be that high; could it be? Kworb estimates it to sell 135k. I don't think it has a any chance to sell 170k let alone hit 200k especially now that it has reached its peak on iTunes. |

Black Beatles is another Trap Queen/Panda for me, just the song that I couldn't get into but well at least new #1. The Mariah fans could now relax her record with Boyz II Men will still stand

for all we know, Black Beatles could pull a Bad Blood instead of a See You Again and permanently fall off the top spot after 1 week and make room for either Closer to return for more weeks or perhaps even for Starboy to overtake the throne (I'd prefer the latter, I really want to see it get to #1). We'll see how well it holds up

BB is still destroying the competition on iTunes (selling 3x as much as the next-highest song) and is doing very well in streaming. At this rate, it'll easily sell over 150k next week as well and stay at its current level (or even rise more) in streaming and gain a bit more on radio while Closer is on the decline on all three. I do wish BB would crash really soon only because I want Starboy to have a chance at #1 :( |

You'd think it'd be getting dark red updates by now, but it's not, even with such a huge lead. It could end up like Panda only spending a couple weeks at #1, but I do believe it will likely spend a second week at #1 (I know it's silly to be saying that when it hasn't even spent its first yet lol but that's what I think will happen) |
