Also note that the clean version got a major boost over the past few days to the top 30. That will keep its lead deceptively strong for a good bit.

#37: If only it hadn't spent basically its entire time in the bottom half…
#40: Sadly this doesn't look like it's doing much.
#62: Same as #14.
#66: (Uh-huh, yeah, still)
#67: So John Legend might get another hit perhaps?
#94: Nice to see. Gain more plz?

My not-exactly-empiral estimates for the #1 race:
Black Beatles: 29m streams (18 YT + 11 Spotify) + 150k sales + 22m Nielsen = 42,000 Closer: 21m streams (13 YT + 8 Spotify) + 65k sales + 159m Nielsen = 39,500
YT numbers based on Nov. 2-Nov. 8 data and projecting the running differences. Spotify numbers based on the Nov. 3-Nov. 9 data and projecting the running differences. Sales for Black Beatles pulled out of my posterior guessed based on pace being better than initially projected. Formula is George's latest.
I'll try to update once I get the final Spotify numbers.

This is a weird wish, but i kind of want Closer to get either 13 weeks or 15+ weeks, due to the paucity of songs with 13 weeks (only 2) and to not get stuck with the stalemate of the 7-way tie for songs with 14 weeks. I'd prefer 13 weeks, as I'm not particularly a fan of the song.

Black Beatles radio estimate recalibrated to 24m Nielsen. Closer stays. Sales numbers still up in the air. Nov. 3-Nov. 9 data now up for YT. Black Beatles YT estimate now up to 20m, Closer down to 12m. Black Beatles: 32m streams (20 YT + 12 Spotify) + 150K? sales + 24m Nielsen = 44,750 Closer: 20.3m streams (12 YT + 8.3 Spotify) +65K? sales + 159m Nielsen = 39,000 The gap's widening...

Starboy is discounted! I love this game! Black Beatles vs. 24K Magic vs. Starboy for #1 Something tells me that 24K Magic will be put on sale next week to help boost his album vs. Metallica's. That combined with the AMAs performance by Bruno and The Weeknd should hopefully provide an interesting battle on both fronts.

True, but it could slip enough next week with the inevitable sales fall that Closer could potentially take back #1. But then again, Starboy is now discounted and the streaming for Black Beatles is pretty steady.

Wow, I almost nailed Kworb's sales estimate beforehand (only off 2k too high for BB)! After slight tweaks, the totals are 44,500 for Black Beatles and 38,500 for Closer, widening the gap a tiny bit more in Black Beatles' favor.

Seems like BB is locked for #1, the new interesting question is how long will it stay there? I personally think starboy will make a valliant efford next week.

Rae Sremmurd's 'Black Beatles' to Battle The Chainsmokers' 'Closer' for No. 1 on Hot 100 Next Week
By Gary Trust | November 11, 2016 12:35 PM EST
Rae Sremmurd's "Black Beatles," featuring Gucci Mane, looks primed to challenge The Chainsmokers' "Closer," featuring Halsey, for the No. 1 spot on next week's Billboard Hot 100 chart (dated Nov. 26).
On the current, Nov. 19-dated Hot 100, "Closer" spends a 12th week at No. 1, while "Beatles" ranks at No. 9 in its first week in the top 10, up from No. 16.
As previously reported, sparking the growth of "Beatles" is its usage in videos soundtracking the viral Mannequin Challenge online … including one by an actual Beatle, Paul McCartney, who joined in on the crazy Thursday (Nov. 10) via a video posted to his Twitter account with the text, "Love those Black Beatles #MannequinChallenge."

The Mannequin Challenge appears to have originated in an Oct. 26 tweet showing students at Jacksonville, Florida's Edward H. White High School in mannequin poses; while that clip didn't feature music, "Beatles" has found synchs in a multitude of subsequent videos. Rae Sremmurd then staged its own version of the challenge in concert Nov. 3; the Nov. 26-dated Hot 100, where "Beatles" should battle "Closer," will reflect the sales and streaming tracking week of Nov. 4-10.
Based on industry forecasts, "Beatles" should soar to more than 120,000 downloads sold in the week ending Nov. 10, while "Closer" should sell more than 50,000. In the prior frame (ending Nov. 3), "Beatles" sold 34,000 and "Closer" sold 72,000, according to Nielsen Music.
Per Billboard projections according to preliminary Nielsen Music data, "Beatles" should also vault, and overtake "Closer," in streaming, as the songs could draw more than 35 million and 25 million U.S. streams, respectively, in the week ending Nov. 10. In the prior tracking week, "Beatles" garnered 19 million streams and "Closer," 29 million.
While "Beatles" could be the top-selling and most-streamed song of the week, "Closer" should continue to be the most-heard at radio, and with a significant lead over "Beatles," with the songs trending toward weekly totals of more than 150 million and 15-20 million audience impressions, respectively.

All those figures look to add up to a fight to the finish for No. 1 on the Hot 100, which blends sales, airplay and streaming data.
Check Billboard.com Monday (Nov. 14), when highlights of the new Hot 100's top 10 will post. The entire chart, and all rankings, will update the following day.

Gold and I Hate U I Love You are no longer in discount; taking their place is Starboy. They must be pretty desperate especially when its pop radio updates aren't all that encouraging too, but even with the discount I don't think its gonna make it to #1 (on the Hot 100). Too bad, I love The Weeknd and Starboy.

A top 5 smash on Pop, right? Because it won't be lucky enough to hit the 5 on the Hot 100.

Sorry for double post, but does anyone think "Hallelujah" by Leonard Cohen will chart this week after his death? Isn't it too soon to say? We don't know how sales will hold up. At this point if his sales don't hold where they are, the song wouldn't sell enough. But he might be getting streams too?

While it's not gonna do much, a lyric video for Starboy has been released. I just love how both Bruno and The Weeknd are working to get that #1, can't wait for their AMA performance gains!
