I listen to this at least twice a day. Admittedly, I wasn't sure about it the first couple of listens, but I can't stop now. So excited for the new album next year!

I listened to it once so far but I really liked it! I’m glad she went with this rather than another Brave or something. Probably won’t do as well but it’s a good sound.

She earned a GRAMMY nomination in Best Musical Theater Album today for her work in Jesus Christ Superstar: Live in Concert alongside John Legend and the rest of the cast.

And to celebrate that Grammy nomination, it was announced that she's going back to the diner and play Jenna for the third time. I swear, this woman is going to bankrupt me.

Saw her last Waitress show yesterday and she f**king killed SUTBM. Everyone stood up as soon as the performance was finished and gave her an extended ovation. She was so moved by it that she bowed her head and covered her face with her hand because she got so emotional.
I was so tempted to ask her about the album after waiting 45 minutes for her at the stage door but I chickened out, haha. She knows we're thirsty for it.

Stop playing Sara She clarified afterwards that she meant pre-sale, but that the release date is soon. Probably mid March I'd guess. I'm excited for this record! I don't care much for "Armour" at all though. Hopefully that is not indicative of the entire body of work. |

The '4/5' date should be the release date, so the album is coming out on April 5. Also, I assume "Fire" is going to be released as an instant grat too.

Fire is out now and I absolutely love it! Armor had to grow on me while Fire clicked instantly. Cannot wait for the album! The preorder links are already up here. Sara did a Q&A on Reddit and shared details about her music, the new album, and tour. |

This is my favorite track of the three, and in my opinion, sounds closest to her earlier work while evolving that sound. I love it! |

Did anyone get tickets to her mini-tour? I'm glad my friend was buying them together with me because in my excitement, I messed up the captcha so that 10-second delay caused me to not get any tickets. It's crazy how the NY show sold out in literally less than 30 seconds. It's f**ked up that most of those were probably snapped up by scalpers who are now selling them for a 100 times the original price.
But I'm happy my friend was lucky so we're going to see her in two weeks!

I was so upset I missed her Brave Enough tour! I'm sure this one will be just as amazing. |

You guys, Sara is literally perfection. I went to her NY show last night and she was absolutely phenomenal (what else is new?). The new album is stunning and I cannot wait for everyone to hear it. I actually thought the new songs were going to be more on the mellow side but the ones that we haven't heard yet are more on the upbeat side (except for a few songs). Also, what a voice. I know I always say this but her voice is unlike anyone else's and is my favorite voice ever. She always puts so much emotion behind her singing and you just can't help but be move every time she opens her mouth.
I'm not exaggerating when I say that I literally teared up when she started singing the opening song, Orpheus. I think the lyrics got to me and of course the overwhelming feeling of being in the same room with her again in a concert setting were just too much for me and I became an emotional mess. I heard a lot of sniffling around me during the entire show especially during She Used To Be Mine.
I think my favorite out of the new songs was If I Can't Have You - either that or Eyes On Me. I don't remember now. It was definitely an upbeat song. Saint Honesty was another stunner and I think that's going to be quite a fan favorite (if isn't already), right up there in the same status as Gravity.
She brought out Emily King and they sang Miss Simone together. The love-fest between them was so cute. Sara is such an Emily stan and it's the purest thing.
Also, a woman fainted during the show (I think it happened after Love Song) and it was scary as hell because we didn't know what it was at first and you could just see the crowd parting to the side...for a second I thought there was a rat but nope. Thankfully, the woman was fine. I guess she was just dehydrated and probably felt tired because we had been waiting a long time (not sure how long she waited) but my friends and I waited for four hours in the freezing cold before the doors opened.
Anyway, I was so lucky to have seen Sara again in concert and so close! Don't think that's going to happen again during her fall tour.
