The Tuesday update is out in the UK. CALM sold 640 copies and Future Nostalgia sold 4,600 copies yesterday, which means that the gap has decreased to less than 3k there. Oh! The HMV data is still missing as well.

Either way it's a new high point for her, I think self-titled only reached #5? I think it peaked at #3 if I recall correctly, fueled by the back-to-back-to-back success of NR, IDGAF and OK. |

This album is like a Teenage Dream for this decade. It's pop music at its best. I would have cut "Good in Bed" and "Boys Will Be Boys" to make it even more succinct. Then it would have truly been flawless. But I'm thoroughly impressed. Every pop masterpiece needs a Pearl Peacock or Teeth to show us how good the other songs are in comparison! That's more like it! 😉 I won't tolerate any disrespect against the underrated gem that is "Pearl". |

After letting this simmer a bit, "Pretty Please" might be my favorite. I would've agreed with the apparent general consensus that it's middle of the pack for this album, but somewhere along the line it just clicked. What a fucking song.
