Hannah Neaves, who is Tap Music head of marketing, was interviewed by Music Week and she mentioned that Dua decided to step away from social media because of the trolls and she's much stronger as a result. Also, she talked about the relationship Dua has with her fans and the campaign of Future Nostalgia, implying a re-release of it. Regarding the album and what's next about it, she said the following. "That's the most important point: this is an album campaign for the next two or three years and her touring. It's a brilliant, brilliant pop album and it will stand the test of time because she's gone for some of the classic tropes of the best pop music of the last 50 years. It's really exciting; it's definitely about the long game with Dua. It took a long time to get to the position she was in on the first album and it feels likes her ascent has been quite fast for a new artist, we all know how long it takes in the current climate. It's not just about week one, it's about the next two to three years, we want her to be doing stadiums, globally."

So glad they have their eye on longevity. I've hated how short album campaigns have become because of streaming. I think Dua might be the last pop star of her kind.

Think I’ve finally listened to the album enough times to fully digest. Pretty sure this is the first full album I’ve listened to in over year, btw.
Rankings:
Don’t Start Now and Physical not included (it’s hard for me to separate the fact that they’ve been out for so long and I’ve burned through them). Love them both though and hope that Physical can still be a single in the US.
1. Levitating- In LOVE with this one. So breezy, very 70s while also being current (dare I say, futuristically nostalgiac?). The “yeah yeah yeahs” are amazing. And then when she gets to the bridge (I think that what it’s called) and has kind of a funky accent. Ugh, love it all.
2. Pretty Please- Wasn’t feeling this one at first, but it quickly climbed up on the list for me. Just the way the bass comes in during in the chorus, I love it.
3. Break My Heart- great second single (I think it’s better as a second single than Physical for the US, more palatable).
4. Cool- just very breezy. Would be a great summer single
5. Hallucinate- I like it but I’m not in love with it yet
6. Future Nostalgia- pretty good title track
7. Love Again- I actually really like the lyrics and melody but not a big fan of the sample.
8. Good in bed- just kind of meh
9. Boys will be boys- probably the only one I skipped most of the time
If I could choose the singles (US) from here on out:
1. DSN 2. BMH 3. Levitating 4. Physical 5. Pretty Please/Cool (cool belongs in the summer though but Levitating fits Summer 2020 better)

Complimented her vocals and her songwriting and didn’t come across as biased or ‘above pop music’ at all. Why do you think that’s disgusting?

I think anyone deserves the right to give their opinion on things that interest them, especially a subjective thing like music, I see it all the time here on Pulse. I think his weird tastes are pretty interesting and I discovered Brockhampton because of him. Also he gave Charli a 9/10 and that’s my s**t.

This was picked as an early front-runner for a GRAMMY nomination for 'Album Of The Year' by Billboard! There is no way it will not get nominated. It will be popular for months to come. It probably wont win but still a big achievment!

So I don't know how charting works when it comes to the Grammys but do albums that want awards have to chart well? Like since she's estimated to debut at number 5, is that a number that can get a Grammy? I want her to get one but I don't know how it works.

In past it didn't matter, but more recently they are desperate to nominate trendy acts.

"Cool" is the standout for me. I don't know that I love "Break My Heart" quite as much; it feels like it's missing something. Makes me wish "Physical" got more attention.

Am I the only one who doesn’t really care for "Hallucinate"? How can you hate Hallucinate when it's literally like being on poppers but a song?

Something tells me they're gonna go with Hallucinate as the next single considering it seems to have the most buzz out of all the non-singles in the US. Obviously will let Break My Heart run its course first though...
Hallucinate could actually work for the summer I think, my friend said it had very summer 2015 vibes when they were listening for the first time and I hear it

Cool is THAT SONG for me right now. The beat slaps.

Obviously will let Break My Heart run its course first though... But it doesn’t have the most buzz. Levitating has been consistently selling better on iTunes and it also has been streaming more than Hallucinate on both Apple Music and Spotify. This is despite Hallucinate being playlisted while Levitating is not on any playlists on either platforms. If anything, Levitating is the one with the most buzz and should be the next single.

Dua is playing UNO with Ronam Kemp on Instagram Live and she confirmed that she's releasing a deluxe version of the album and she's holding back on some songs too. No specific date was given though.

I love how Cool was co-written by Tove, uuh two queens made a perfect song, agreed with everyone it needs to be next for summer! I've also really grown into appreciating the title track, what a great opener that perfectly highlights the main aspects of this album! It's also a major bop BWBB remains just OK though

Boys Will Be Boys honestly I think is a new favorite for me I love the sentiment of the song, it's a good closing track in which it closes the record with a distinct song and an important message, I also think the production and overall melody is simple but works in it's favor by focusing on the song's message.
I think it's how a song of it's type should be done as opposed to something like The Man. But that's just my opinion

Dua is playing UNO with Ronam Kemp on Instagram Live and she confirmed that she's releasing a deluxe version of the album and she's holding back on some songs too. No specific date was given though. To complement this, she also revealed the following. • Regarding her collaboration with Miley Cyrus whether it will be released, she said that she's unsure if the song (which is "LA Money") is the right one. However, to clarify this, ALMA is going to release this song on her upcoming debut album, so they aren't going to release it though. • She was asked to choose between "Levitating" and "Hallucinate" as the song she likes the most and she picked the former. • Before she had the idea of Future Nostalgia as the album title, she thought that the album could be called Glasshouse. However, she scrapped that idea when she found out that Jessie Ware has a song (and album) with that name, so she referenced that on the title track.
