Okay, I'm very happy about yesterday's lynch. And I'm also glad and partially confused that Sercies died after his weird last-minute flip. I can confirm he didn't Jailkeep me last night (And other people can too) so we could perhaps get a conf!town if a singular slot was roleblocked last night. Are we notified if we were Jailkept? I don't think I can confirm anything if not. |

I'm pissed that Sercies is gone. No matter his alignment, he's always the most helpful. Which makes me think that whoever offed him is someone who knows his gameplay. Myself and Cynthia are the next most experienced players left (not in that order) - so I'm slightly looking in Cynthia's direction. Had Sercies survived, what would everyone have thought about his vote shift from Preds to Juggalo? With Preds flipping scum, that would have made Sercies look suspicious - only anyone who knows him knows he wouldn't make such a bad move if he were scum .... unless that's what he wanted one to believe. None of this matters, of course. It's just an interesting move on his part. Meanwhile, Wob's proclaiming he's fine if Preds is lynched but doesn't change his vote to him only adds to my suspicion of him. It's like, you're voicing your support but leaving it at that with no action? Rookie mistake. I still have a hard time wrapping my mind around how plurality voting functions but I have figured out that it's really important who gets a vote or certain number of votes first. So I have strong reservations about Nose immediately laying a vote on wob; even Mylo held off on actually voting despite openly saying where his biggest suspicion is. This is bothering me more in combination with Max's D1 play where he seemed to be focused only on wob as a suspect.
I also get very conflicting messages from Nose committing to that vote while simultaneously saying Mylo is the one who will look suspect if he doesn't explain himself. Plus it seemed fairly obvious to me that that mylo planned on coming back to explain his stance when he had more time to do so, so demanding he do so seems extra.
I do agree that wob saying he'd be willing to vote for Preds, but then not voting for Preds, also stands out, particularly since his opinion on Preds seemed to morph almost every time he mentioned him. But Nose didn't vote for Preds at any point either IIRC and in fact barely mentioned Preds at all, so there's still that to deal with.
Caged feels like town to me b/c he's new to this and "1-shot" anything is a game mechanic that I wouldn't expect a first-time scum player with little to no knowledge of mafia and no teammate to guide him to think of on his own. With that said, I am willing to weigh the possibility that I'm not giving him enough credit for being that clever.
Mylo feels the most town to me b/c he put his D1 vote down on Preds at a time when he could have gotten away with relying on vote plurality to help Preds skate by, or steered a wagon in another direction. He could be playing us all like a fiddle - there are a couple of comments that I could read as playing too hard if I really wanted to stretch it - but my gut reaction is that if he were scum he wouldn't be doing things that make his job harder.
Nose obviously feels the scummiest to me for reasons stated above so vote: Nose, but keeping in mind that this sole vote doesn't actually mean anything since Nose put wob at a vote first, I'd suggest mylo and Caged hold off on putting a vote on Nose unless they really feel sure about it.

I won't talk about the Wob suspicion just yet (I'd like to see their reaction first to that) but I can certainly give a reason for scumreading you now I have time! The first two posts of yours are meh, then there's the post I already commented on (Although it's kinda very probable in hindsight you were right lol) which doesn't really help town lol. |

Ok, why is Wob town? I'm obviously willing to be convinced if it's for the better of town. Clearly there's something I'm missing. @antigonerising my vote was on Wob at the end of Day 1 too. Is it really that much of a stretch that I'd be okay to jump back to him for the start of Day 2? Mylo13 💜: Why does Cynthia's post make you feel better about her? Because she's helpful? Consider that, again, just because she's helping town, doesn't mean she's not scum. I still don't get why I'm suddenly your target. You mentioned my first two posts as being meh and then a post you already commented on. I'm lost. Basically, for those who think I'm scum. If you're right, town is closer to winning or wins, depending on whatever the setup is. But think about this, when I flip town, then what? Play out the trajectory from there. If lynching me is a move we can afford to make that would lead us to winning, definitely do it. But don't do it unless you're as sure as you can possibly be. So answer me that: I'm lynched and flip town, what is your next step. |
