I'm SO pumped for "Only the Young!" I don't have Netflix sadly but the song is being released everywhere on "Miss Americana" release day.
Some tea btw: "Only the Young" was scrapped from Lover, and "Miss Americana" is not being considered at any point as a single from the album.

"Miss Americana" sweetie I'm SO sorry. I feel sad that a good chunk of Lover won't be a single, but this was one I was really feeling like it could be  . If we couldn't have had Paper Rings or I Think He Knows now, surely I thought Miss Americana could've happened? I'm really hoping for an amazing video and a really good remix. Plenty of viable women she could add but the one I'd most like to see is Lizzo. What a dream pairing, Lizzo would nail a song like The Man. I think that a mediocre video and no remix would let this era basically stop singles-wise, even if Cruel Summer was next. Four callout flunks in a row doesn't usually get you a 5th single to do well  |

I heard a snippet on Twitter and the beat sounds very “Swan Song”. That whitewashed version of the “Starboy” beat with the kids’ vocals in the back. Sounds kinda good. Can’t wait to get the full thing.

I heard Paper Rings on Sirius XM Hits 1 yesterday. It was exciting and I would much rather see that as a single. It seems like The Man is decided, but that’s a strange turn of events.

Unless Taylor herself comes out and says she backed out of the Grammy's performance/attending, I'm not going to believe it because right now it's just unnamed sources. Variety, the industry bible, reported it so it must be true. |

I still listen to this after I play the whole Rare album. "I Think He Knows" could've worked as a lead single, honestly. Track 6 slaps. "Cornelia Street" could be another "Delicate." "Cruel Summer" should be a single during LoverFest.

Disappointed that Taylor didn’t get SOTY! She was my top pick for the category. Maybe cruel summer will nab a SOTY nomination next ceremony.

After being snubbed for both "reputation" and "Lover", with the added burn of "thank u, next", the Grammy's mean nothing to me. And I'm not saying that in a toxic way, I simply mean that it's not worth obsessing over, especially after what was revealed recently. Well, better luck to Taylor and Ariana next year.

I would have voted for "Lover" too.
But let's be real hype wasn't there for her this year.
I really think she should have attended? Much like Ariana last year she wasted a promo spot to make a point that no one will remember in the long run. And "The Man" needs all the help it can get lmao.

Taylor needs to have a stand with the issue in the Recording Academy. She did (or didn't do) what she has to do. If the Academy was fair, then, Lover could've won SOTY. Why would they even give Billie all 4 major awards? ROTY and BNA are well deserved for her but not AOTY, especially not SOTY, when Lover is in that category.

Giving all 4 major awards to Billie was a terrible decision. I understand she deserved BNA but the others were very much debatable.
I could make a case for literally most of the nominees in ROTY, SOTY and AOTY. She deserved SOTY but the Grammys were too far up Billie's ass this year, surprised they didn't give her Pop Vocal Performance as well lol
