Cardi was on top when GLY remix was released. And Megan is doing great these days so if it's a bop, it'll do well. I can't say it'll smash cause Nobody's Love flopped big time so we'll see.

It took them long enough to come out with this generic mess. The only interesting part is Megan feature.

Streaming was their weak link last era, now with the help of megan i can't think of any reasons this wouldn't do well there. Radio has always been there for them.

It all went downhill with “Don’t Wanna Know.” I was really behind them until then. I’ve enjoyed a few of their singles since then, don’t get me wrong, but it hasn’t been the same since that bland excuse of a song.

I thought "Cold" was pretty good personally, but otherwise I agree. "Nobody's Love" is kind of inoffensively relaxing as well.

2020 was the first year since 2010 that Maroon 5 did not have a top ten hit on the Hot 100 (unless we count “Memories” which hit top 10 in late 2019/early 2020). This is certainly a make or break in that momentum. Having Megan on the track is a cheap trick, and I have a feeling it’s not going to work.

The thing is, I don’t think Maroon 5 expected GLY to become the big hit it did. It wasnt the song that did the trick, but rather the viral music video and then everything else afterwards fell into place. I just don’t see them pulling off a stunt like this again, even with a flavor of the moment feature attached. At the most maybe they’ll get a “Memories” sized hit. But let’s wait and see how good the song is.
