Also meant to include “Hold On to Me” as being another song that would likely exit soon, so it could be that or “No Man’s Land”.

"Leave A Mark" loses it's second song in a row with the follow up single, Cover You In Kisses. tim was 2 of 3 right on with his guesses, but he just suffered his first major loss of the rankdown. I think this is a really good one, even though it might not hold up as much as the huge classics.

Ouch. It’s a shame that “Cover You In Kisses” left before the top 15 as I’ve always really enjoyed it. It also sounded so, so good on the radio at the time.

And we lose the entire "Leave A Mark" album in back-to-back-to-back eliminations! As we get to the top 15, multiple top tens are being lost. Sorry to these men. 🌺CountryLineDancer and tim (again!) get perfect rankings!

This is probably the exact top 15 I would have guessed.

This is probably the exact top 15 I would have guessed. I'm a little surprised that "Hold On To Me" is out and "No Man's Land" is still hanging on, but otherwise yeah, this feels about right. As for what misses the top 10, it feels like we're in range to lose one or more of his big sappy hits, but otherwise it's kind of a crap shoot. I'll say: "No Man's Land" "Home To You" "How Was I To Know" "I Love The Way You Love Me" "Rope The Moon"

Gonna get a few of these knocked out for y'all to wake up to! If I don't make it to the top ten, I'll post the remaining ones to get there early tomorrow. A few more predictions correct as the first song to leave us from the five reveals till the top ten is How Was I To Know. I always enjoyed this in the day and it felt bigger than it probably was in hindsight.

At #14 we lose our first #1 hit in the rankdown! It hasn't aged into a classic as well as some of the others have, so I can see why a lot of us might not've had room in our top twenty.

Down to the Top 13 on Friday the 13th Don't bring none of that bad juju onto here today! Anyways, not surprised to see both "How Was I to Know" and "If You've Got Love" exit as we're are at the point now that it's getting quite competitive with John's bigger hits are coming into light. As for which three songs will leave next, I have to think that "I Miss You a Little" is on borrowed time as it's always been one of his more polarizing hits (although I'd much prefer to see it in the top 10 myself). I continue to be impressed by "No Man's Land" performance as it never struck me as being such a favorite, but surely it'll be out soon as well. Lastly, I think "Rope the Moon" will be bowing out as well.

Like that one I'm pleasantly surprised to see the trio of "I Swear", "I Love The Way You Love Me", and "I Can Love You Like That" make it this far. I could see at least one of them miss the top 10 but I Could also see all make the top 10 too. My top 5 hasn't been hit yet and I am hoping against hope that those 5 songs can be in the top 10 at the very least. 3 of them I feel strongly will make it but the other two I'm worried about.

Not a #1 hit to slice or someone's #1 ranking to dice, but this one hurts me! ☹ I knew from the 1994 Rankdown (where it did so bad my mouth was on the floor) to not expect much and #13 is probably better than I would've assumed off that. I've always had this song on a pedastal and maybe that's why it feels so much like one of his staple hits for me. Kanenrá:ke and someguy got perfect rankings!

Another one predicted to leave before the top ten has met it's end! I've always really liked this one but it does feel middle-tier in his hit catalogue. What will be the last song to miss the top ten?! 🤔

Since you mentioned #1's, I wouldn't be surprised if mine did just barely miss top 10, I guess. :/

"I Miss You A Little" missing top 10 is devastating to me. I've always LOVED that one.
Really hoping my #1 is not the next song out as I am afraid it might be

Missing the top ten is what I would consider one of his massive hits. It was everywhere! I definitely felt like it would get some tankers for just being too sappy, but I still wish it had made the top ten. I remember when this came out and I was 9, I was just learning what 'gay' was and thought it meant a feminine guy. And JMM had some of the most feminine facial expressions I've ever seen in this video. I was like 'he's one of those gay people' :kii:

Cracking into our top ten, our first loss is Home To You. I consider this a W! Definitely the underdog of the rankdown, I expected it to go in the twenties range with Angel in my Eyes. Loved seeing the support! castleoblivion26 gets a perfect ranking!

castleoblivion26 falls victim first to losing their #1 as No Man's Land gets the chop. This has never been one my favorites, and Castle will get their revenge on me VERY soon. 😩 bboat11 got a perfect ranking!

By far my favorite JMM song and one of my favorite songs of all time, I love story songs and I don't even care that if this one has a religious tone. Alison Krauss gives us her beautiful background vocals she also contributed to another dark gloomy song, Whiskey Lullaby. 9 of us ranked this in our top ten, but 4 non believers tanked it, making it the MOST POLARIZING SONG OF THE RANKDOWN. Austin and Jordan got perfect rankings! 💐💐 Myself and TasteKing™ toomuchboy lose our #1's
