If you want it back at 1, I am afraid the fans will have to organize mass buying parties to propel the song to the top of I tunes...or at least, half of Butter sales. Good 4 U had massive streaming over the last 3 weeks and it was never enough to dethrone BTS. Considering that Butter has been already mass bought 500k times over three weeks, it is, unfortunately, not surprising ...

And just like that the BTS Army who are constantly obsessed with buying multiple copies of Butter manipulate their way into spending a 3rd week at #1, Also wow at the fact that this thread only has 18 pages currently compared to the previous thread which had 23 pages when the top 10 reveal came out.

It looks like deja vu might not be done in the top 10, the streaming is still quite stable and the radio is continuing to increase. Yes, I'm pleased to see it's still holding up pretty well. It's exciting to see Olivia do really well, and I've really tried to like the whole album, but unfortunately it just hasn't really clicked with me, however Deja Vu is one of the few tracks that I like.

Also wow at the fact that this thread only has 18 pages currently compared to the previous thread which had 23 pages when the top 10 reveal came out. It's gotten boring, complaining about mass sales and the formula for three weeks, so I guess people are saving their posts for when something worth talking about happens.

Enough of this fraudulence...we ALL know Butter is NOT the #1 song of the country. Billboard needs to do something about the current formula. They were willing to switch it up the second Levitating was about to grab the #1 so why can't they do the same here?

I thought 2021 was the year the Billboard H100 formula will improve but I was wrong about that. They care more about their monopoly and revenue. Streams will always be the will of the people. Sales are run by stan hype and organization who can't even bother to open up a Spotify or Apple account.

Well, at this rate butter could spend 1-2 weeks more at #1, so brace yourselves to be mad.

I would even say that Butter has underperformed in streaming in the US - globally it has done a bit better on Spotify than Dynamite but not that much. It's #7 on global Spotify. Pretty good but not the biggest smash ever the army pretends it to be.

I haven't ever heard the song be mentioned at all outside of chart-related conversations. It's only claim to popularity, at least within my bubble (which is not a scientific measure or anything, just saying), is how it got to #1 on sales mostly. It's gonna be one of those "this song went #1?" things in a few years, except for people that know the context.
Meanwhile I think there are at least 3 songs on the top 10 that people are gonna be like... "this only went #1 for a single week?" or "this DIDN'T reach #1???".

They are also hearing Beautiful Mistakes by Maroon 5, but that is not #1.
Anyway this discussion didn't go anywhere 3 weeks ago and it won't go anywhere now.

So basically one Pulse "Favorite" is #1 and the other "favorite" is not
maybe read a different chart this week or for a while I guess until the BTS thing dies down?

Honestly I'm still so mad at billboard for the TOTC business that I'm fine with watching the chart embarrass itself for a couple weeks & if the BTS fans want to precipitate that honestly good for them at least someone wins

i'm sick of the arguing over bts to be quite honest. as someone who follows many armys on twitter, a lot of them do very much care about chart placements and i consistently see them talking about buying whichever single is being promoted. ONE fanbase mass buying a song does not dictate what the most popular song of the week is especially when a certain other song has been topping the charts on spotify for three weeks.
i love butter, i'm happy bts has success. but it's time to stop going back and forth with the same bs, we all know exactly what this is and if they're gonna pretend they aren't mass buying they should probably do a much better job hiding it

Someone asked why no one was really engaging... now some people are engaging and y'all are like "not this again". I mean the "Blinding Lights" guy is trying hard to make someone care about the song's 735rd week on the chart but other than that... the only thing to address is the BTS elephant in the room.
The "classic Pulse", "Pulse and it's obsession with female pop singers", "Pulse and it's favorites" arguments are tiresome. Is anyone holding you at gunpoint? You do not need to engage with the Pulse Music Board community if it's that annoying to you.
