Kicking off the extras is a song by this late singer from Miami that was originally released in 1974 and peaked at #28 on the soul chart. It was re-recorded years later, and this "live" version fared better, rising to #11 soul. It was notably sampled in Candyman's "Knockin' Boots" and Color Me Badd's "I Wanna Sex You Up", with the latter leading her to sue for royalties after claiming the sample was used without permission. She ended up winning 35% of the royalties.

This is challenging. There is nothing outright terrible and pretty much everything is on an existing playlist or going on a playlist.
List is on its way

Today's extra is a song from the Saturday Night Fever soundtrack. Written by The Bee Gees, it peaked at #36 on the soul chart and #32 on the Hot 100.
More Than a Woman - Tavares
The Bee Gees also recorded their own version of "More Than a Woman", and while it wasn't released as a single in the US, it is more well-known than Tavares' version.
