Take a look at Twitter, the ARMY is pissed. Calling the Hot 100 payola because of radio, ignoring two Top 10 hits right now (Running Up That Hill & Glimpse Of Us) are basically only held up by streaming right now. And Bad Bunny songs are top 10 thanks to streaming too. Me Porto Bonito has like 0.5 million airplay lol and Titi Me Pregunto has minimal airplay too. |

This feels like a good place to rant at Billboard. In the latest Country Update, they gave streaming data for Wasted On You (11.9 millions) and Rock and a Hard Place (11.1 millions), and then stated the latter being #1 on Country Streaming Songs. They really think they can get away with it without explaining the streaming tiers huh Maybe they assume that at this point people know how it works. |

I actually like Gaga, I don't hate her at all lmao But now that this has charted, I'll cool it on the Hold Mg Hand hate (for kow) I’ve got a secret… “hold my hand” might be my least favourite Gaga single to date. 🤫 I won’t mind if it does well but at the same time I don’t want it to succeed to such an extreme that it encourages her to make more like this. It’s fine but it’s not what I want to hear from her. There. I said it. What a weight lifted off my shoulders! |

Hate to break it to you but I'm far from the only Gaga fan who didn't love Chromatica lol... It's classic Gaga except the sound is watered down and not innovative, in my opinion :) All of her previous eras stood out to me for different reasons and were memorable whereas this one was not. The only songs I return to on it are 911, Rain On Me, Sine From Above and occassionally Sour Candy. I'm not gonna judge an album based on how reminiscent it is of past work or how well it does on metacritic(?) but just how much my ears enjoy it lol |

It's classic Gaga, and is even her highest rated album on Metacritic (even more than The Fame Monster or A Star Is Born). Chromatica may old school and classic Gaga but it is absolutely not as fun or even as thoughtful as The Fame or Fame Monster. That's really my biggest problem: okay, it's not as ambitious lyrically as Joanne or ARTPOP (two projects I didn't care for either) but even as a simple dance pop album, there are only 3 songs I'd actually revisit and dance. I don't precisely blame Gaga though, BloodPop has most of that responsibility for making such mediocre beats. |

But, I’d be okay with 80s inspired power ballads from Gaga. “Hold My Hand” just isn’t it. It doesn’t go hard enough for me. With Chromatica, I loved it! It wasn’t as extreme as TFM or BTW, which is what I’ve loved about Gaga, but it was still fun without lacking a point. My qualm with the album is in how painfully short the songs are. Many feel incomplete or trimmed unnecessarily and it hurt the album. |

The General Public not delivering on another 'sure thing' - Kendrick's domination, Post B200 #1, BTS H100 #1. there's definitely some culture shifting going on, but it's hard to figure out where it's going It would be so 2022 if As It Was to remain #1 through BTS and Drake, only for its run to be upended by a Luke Combs or Beyoncé song the following week. |

Late to the news that BTS didn't even debut in the top 10! I was thinking they could still score easy #1 debuts even with the new Billboard rules!
I guess it was a clue that it wasn't going #1 that the Pulse thread wasn't filled with the usual heated discussions each time a BTS song is #1. And none of their fans posted too

I think Gaga is now in the stage of her career where Diana Ross was after Upside Down and Endless Love. Gaga will get a hit every now and then, but I think her days of getting #1’s on the Hot 100 are over.
