It's in the top 5 on Spotify and Apple Music as of writing this, and has the potential to be HUGE. The big question is, can it go all the way to #1? It will likely have to go through "Flowers" and "Kill Bill" to get there.

P!nk has her newest album "TRUSTFALL" coming out next Friday. To date, she has had an incredibly long and successful career. Her Hot 100 debut came in 2000 with "There You Go" (#7). After almost 20 years of making appearances nearly every year on the chart, she's finally started to see more commercial decline in the last few years, coinciding with her shift to a more Adult Contemporary sound. Now, she's promising the next album will feature a more upbeat danceable sound. Her 1st single "Never Gonna Not Dance Again" (#99) just debuted on the Hot 100 after several months of climbing on the radio. "TRUSTFALL", her second single, has not yet charted.

This week we'll be doing a few artist battles! In each case, I will give you the names of 2 artists. Your job is to guess who will have more weeks in the Top 20 through June!

*It's important to note, multiple songs simultaneously in the Top 20 will count for multiple weeks - i.e. The Weeknd will earn +2 for each week that "Creepin" and "Die For You" both spend in the Top 20.

Q1: SZA vs Morgan Wallen
SZA is the queen of R&B right now, with her 2nd album SOS achieving widespread commercial success and critical acclaim. "Kill Bill" has held remarkable steady on streaming and probably has another month of radio gains in it. In addition, SZA has a bunch more songs which could easily become second singles with a multi-format radio push.

Morgan Wallen is the king of Country right now. Every song he's released lately seems to chart ("Last Night" currently sits in the Top 5), and he's releasing a 36-track album on March 3rd. As country becomes more prominent on the major streaming platforms, Wallen has led the way. The only thing holding him back from complete chart dominance is pop radio's hesitancy toward playing country. Even still, he will likely be a mainstay on the chart this spring.

Q2: Miley Cyrus vs Ice Spice
Miley Cyrus, after several years without much chart success, has bounced back in a big way with "Flowers." Now, there's a lot of hype for her next album "Endless Summer Vacation" which is being released March 10. Will she have any more hits off the album?

Ice Spice is having her breakout moment right now. After some memes last year, her collab "Boy's a Liat Pt 2" with PinkPantheress has blown up in a a big way. And her success is drawing in new listeners to her debut EP as well. "In Ha Mood" is on its way up the streaming charts.

Q3: Chlöe vs Cardi B
After years of releasing music with her sister as part of Chloe x Halle, Chlöe's debut solo album In Pieces is set to release on March 31. While the album is highly anticipated, her lead single "Pray It Away" ultimately did not chart. Her next single, a collab with Chris Brown, will likely get a label push. Will the hype from her dedicated fanbase result in chart success?

Cardi B promises her new album is coming in 2023...but she's been saying that for years. Still, you can always count on Cardi to keep up a steady output of one-offs and collabs, which almost always perform well. Just last year, "Hot Shit" (#13) and "Tomorrow 2" (#9) spent time in the Top 20. Will she release anything this year?

1. Sza. I think another single could help with this if Kill Bill dies down but i think it’ll be one of the 5 biggest songs of the year so it might actually stay until then.

2. Miley. I know Ice Spice is on the come up and is really hot right now, but the hype for Miley is there again and really strong.

3. Cardi. The thing about this question is that we don’t know if she will drop anything within this time frame, but she’s more likely to chart in the top 20 if that’s the case compared to Chloe who has never had a hit reach that height before.

EDIT: not changing my answer but there is an argument for SZA with a potential Die For You Remix, Snooze rising and deluxe tracks, and the Morgan tracks may not last as long as I think

I think Ice Spice will have more songs reach the hot 100 and even top 40, but I don't think she's much of a stable Top 20 type of artist besides BAL, would love to be proven wrong on that
I have a tickle that once Flowers gets off of #1 it'll fall quickly, would love to be proven wrong on that as well, but I think at this point it has to last the T20 to July, I think Miley will get a few tracks in the top 20 on release and 1 or 2 singles might be radio hits

If she releases anything it'll prob go top 20, Chlöe hasn't gone T20 yet, and maybe the CB feature would do it but I don't think or hope so.

1. Morgan Wallen - If it were just absolute weeks in the top twenty, I'd pick SZA because Kill Bill is looking to last forever. But seeing how his projects have performed previously, I'm seeing one long-lasting hit for Morgan Wallen to build up his point count and then a few album cuts lingering in the region for a few weeks to really drive him to the top.

2. Miley Cyrus - If Miley's album weren't coming out soon, this would be a super tough pick. But yeah, those album bomb songs are gonna help her a lot here.

3. Cardi B - I am very pessimistic about either of them this year lol but Cardi has a lot of lingering star power that should help her if she actually does drop.
